This is basic enough that I must just be missing it somewhere in the App.  How do I change the order of the podcast episodes in the Sonos app for PocketCasts?  I want the oldest unplayed episode on top, not the most recent.

My Sonos S2 app (up-to-date) has once again stopped working on Android 11, showing only screens with blank placeholders for everything except System, where it wants me to update the firmware on my Sonos One pair.Aside from the fact that I don’t generally want to install updates to make unknown changes to a stable system that I’m not asking for, and I resent being forced, my particular issue is that I’m afraid of losing access again from my Win7 desktop. It took a considerable effort of working around annoying Sonos roadblocks to get the mandatory S2 app running (with limitations) on Win7, and I’m afraid if I do one of these irreversible firmware updates on the speakers the Win7 app will tell me it can no longer access the speakers because Sonos has arbitrarily decided that it can’t.I know this is likely pointless grumbling, but is there any way we can get Sonos to consider:stop forcing unnecessary firmware updates make it clear what historical functionality will be lost with each firmw

I take my Sonos Roam with me to work. I’d love to listen to Sonos Radio HD..but apparently you have to be part of the “network” that is connected at home to play it - not sure if that’s because HD sound needs higher bandwidth or something else. So two questions: You still can’t use Sonos HD Radio unless you’re part of your “main” network, correct?  If #1 is correct, will that ever change so if you are on the go you can listen over cellular/bluetooth? I mean even if it’s not HD audio, just the fact it’s available would be nice.  My understanding is that you can’t listen at all unless you’re part of the main home network. 

Hey guys,i have an older Philipps TV, a Cable Box, AppleTV and a PS3. The TV has three HDMI inputs 1 (with ARC), 2 and side. So far, after installing my Beam on hdmi 1, AppleTV on hdmi 2 and the Cable Box to side, my setup works as expected with the Beam delivering audio via ARC from the currently playing device (I.e. AppleTV or cable box). However in this setup, I have to plug the PS3 (serving mostly as Blue-Ray player) into hdmi side instead of the cable box, when I use it, and plug the cable box back after use, which is tedious (wall mounted TV) and the kids often forget after playing, so my wife complains the TV is broken, when hatching her shows. :-/Thus, I was thinking, if there is a splitter or other device, so that I can plug the PS3 back into hdmi 1 (Video and Audio in), but have the arc signal passed to the beam?thanks in advance!

One of my original “Connect Amps” has failed and I must replace it with the newer “Amp”. I currently have an original “Bridge” hard-wired to my Ethernet switch in a convenient location and the Bridge communicates wirelessly to the Connect Amp. Will this setup work with the newer Amp? I’d rather not run an Ethernet cable to the place where the Amp must be located.

I currently have the TV auto play option on, so if I’m listening to music and turn on the TV, the TV sound will take the priority. But is there a voice command to easily switch back to music and have it resume my song, or is my place in the song gone when it switches to the TV?

Does plugging into Ethernet degrade audio performance of ATMOS or other content in any way or can it only help with bandwidth for streamed audio content? My understanding is... as long as optical adapters to port audio into the arc are not used, and the eARC from the tv is used via a quality HDMI cable, it will have the bandwidth to carry the Atmos content from the tv to the arc. (Obviously the quality into the tv also matters.) Basically don't try to use optical period. If I have hard wired ethernet, plugging ethernet is better than wifi. I have hard-wired ethernet to the Arc, and I use the hdmi over eArc from the tv to the Arc. I was hoping someone can confirm this is optimal? Also, for sonos sub, and/or one sl's ....plug the ethernet directly in or let the built-in wifi from the Arc push this to those speakers? Which is more efficient/better/etc.? Wondering if there are tradeoffs to consider. I appreciate any insight any Sonos engineers might be able to provide.  Thanks in advance! 

I haven’t found an answer to this one via the search so apologies if this has already been answered.I see that the S1 Sub is compatible with the S2 app, but the Beam S2 is only compatible with the S2 app. So why can't I add my S1 Sub to my media room with the S2 Beam via the S2 app? Just doesn’t see the Sub which I have disconnected from a S1 room completely.My media room is run on my S2 App. Every other room is via S1 and is working just fine.Thanks

Sonos has just sent me an email saying ‘Whats new on Sonos Radio’ here in the Uk Telling me great news Sonos Radio is online click on link to go to our new Radio Page WRONG the link takes me to their existing page with there products etc.anyone else received this premature email this morning looked online and see no new announcement from Sonos either  

When adding new sub-folders to the main folder in Music Library, is there a way to rescan the folder so that the new sub-folders are added?Or..Is the solution to delete the folder then add the folder after adding the new sub-folders?Mitch

I am not again scrolling through similar issues that were raised years ago - I would like a new topic opened please. I have an Echo Dot and a Sonos One.I have had same for 4+years.When I ask the Sonos “Alexa, play Absolute Radio” or “Alexa, ask BBC to play Radio 2” or similar commands, I get the expected response: E.g. “Absolute Radio from Planet Radio” or “BBC Sounds, and the jingle.Then SILENCE.This does not happen with the Echo Dot.I can start any radio station or music from the app on my iPhone.But when I ask Alexa to “Stop playing”, NOTHING HAPPENS.  I have to unplug the damn thing or use the App.Yes, I have checked the microphone (why, I don’t know because my voice was clearly heard!).Yes, I have reset the One and started from scratch.Yes, I have disabled and reenabled all the skills.This MUST be an issue with Alexa & Sonos (My Echo Dot works fine)PLEASE CAN SOMEONE COME UP WITH A SOLUTION. If you cannot notice, I am getting VERY FRUSTRATED with this.Thank you

I keep my Sonos system on S1 because I have a first generation Play:5 that is hooked up to my record player. A houseguest recently tried to upgrade my system (thinking they were being helpful) and of course crashed the whole thing. I’ve tried the usual steps to factory reset and downgrade my products (I’ve done this before successfully when I first set up the record player) but now when the setup wizard gets to the stage of the final “push button/hear chime” after plugging in to ethernet, the process fails. I am given a “this device is only compatible with S2 system” message, which is entirely untrue as these are all S1 compatible devices.  I’ve factory reset over and over, reset the apps on all devices, and reset the router. All to no avail. Please help!

I don’t see any Sonos-made Station on Sonos app. Pick any station shown on Sonos Radio website and search for its name on Sonos app, I see only third-party radio stations but no Sonos-made stations.For example, the Smooth Jazz station on Sonos Radio. I can play on my browser just fine, but when I search for “smooth jazz” in my Sonos app I see only third-party stations.I know that Sonos has created many high quality stations but I am not able to browse any of them in the app, let alone searching for it. In the “Browse Radio” page in the app, I see only third-party stations, no way to browse only Sonos-made stations. Please recommend what I should do.I use Google Pixel 6. Sonos app is on its latest version. My Sonos system is a pair of Sonos One SL.Thanks.

Has anyone experienced with Sonos 100 days satisfactory return policy? (Sonos Australia) I was not satisfied by Sonos Immersive Set with Arc $2916.00 and returned within 100 days as per  their instructions. They confirmed receiving the return stock on 29 April 2022. They said all they need to do is to “check in” their warehouse system then the refund will be done.I emailed and followed up and they ignored my emails with NOT A SINGLE REPLY to me. I called them since 30 April and not a single person picked up the calls. Sometimes they even shut their phone system so you could not call and the calls would be disengaged straight away.Finally, a staff picked up my call on 11 May 2022 and advised the same. They received the returned stocks ……. When I asked him so when I would receive my full refund he would not promise at all. Hello,We just bought a Sonos Beam and 1x Sonos One.I configured them as a group, and it works good while watching TV.But when i try to mute the sound using the TV remote it only mutes the volume of the Beam and not the volume of the One. Same when adjusting the volume.Is there any way to adjust the group volume with the TV remote?If not, will it be possible when we buy another Sonos One speaker and make it a surround stereo pair?I really hope its possible because else it really sucks to open the Sonos app everytime...

I use an Arc as my TV sound system, but fairly often when playing games I’ll play a podcast over the Sonos system using either PocketCasts or AirPlay. There’s a problem where the Arc’s “Autoplay TV” setting is too aggressive, especially when playing games. Sometimes just going in to a menu in game will cause the Arc to switch from my podcast to the game audio.  Is there any way of having Sonos only switch to TV audio when there isn’t any other media playing?

Good morning, I had a problem this weekend with my tv updating. No volume indicator on screen. Restarted system and that was corrected. Now the Sonos beam sounds hollow and the volume is still high even when the volume is turned down to zero. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi. I have been trying to get the tracks on my Amazon Music app and those that I can access via the Sonos app as I have too much 'clutter' on the Sonos version for example track duplicates. I have tried removing my Amazon account from within the Sonos app and reauthorizing it but no difference. For you to see what I mean I will post 2 screenshots one of the Amazon app (with just one track entry) and on the Sonos app with 6 track entries (one the Live! version which I never play!)Any ideas anyone?    

I’m using the Sonos app (14.6.1) on a Pixel 4a phone (Android 12), and on occasions when I go to the Search Tab and see my ‘Recent Searches’ the formatting seems to be messed up:  I’m not sure what triggers this, as it seems to happen fairly randomly but fairly regularly. If I close the app and reload it, the problem I think usually seems to sort itself out, but haven’t checked if this is consistently so. This is what I expect the screen to look like:  Does anybody else experience this, or know what is causing this?

How can I get the volume slider on the S2 app on an iPad to vibrate like it does on the iPhone ?

I have a house-full of Sonos kit, and have been a user for many years. Last year I added a Roam, which has worked well until the last few days.  About a week ago it disappeared from the list of products shown on my Android app.  I simply reinstalled it and forgot about the problem. Yesterday it again disappeared but this time I have been unable to reinstall it.  I’ve done all the usual & recommended things, including deleting the app. from my ‘phone and reinstalling it, all to no avail.Just now I signed on to my Sonos account on my PC, and the Roam is showing.  I set it up to play some music, and it works perfectly from my PC. However despite every effort at getting it to show on my Android ‘phone it doesn’t show on the app.  This is important as I use the Roam in my garden & don’t want to have to rush into the house to control it! NJSS 

I am struggling to connect my Sonus Play 3 with Alexa.  Does anybody have any ideas ?  Both the Sonus and Alexa app are up to date (Software) I have enabled the Sonus Skill in Alexa and linked the account.  I have a dedicated Alexa device to use but I cannot find the Sonus via the Alexa app.Is it even possible on an older speaker like the Sonus Play 3, Ive been advised it is but cannot get it to connect. Ive also disabled and enabled the Sonus skill in the Alexa app with no joy.
