I have a beam, sub and One SLs setup as surround in my living room. I recently bought two used Play 1’s and it won’t connect as surround. It recognized them but will not connect toy current setup. How do I get them to pair into my existing surround setup?

I just purchased a brand new Sonos Port. This replaced a Sonos Connect that stopped working. The old Sonos Connect had RCA plugs going into Audio In coming from a Denon AVR-S710W receiver. The receiver was hooked up to five speakers throughout the house. The Sonos Port was setup using Wi-Fi and the Sonos app found it easily. The color of the light in front of it is white. I can play music on the Sonos app but I am not getting any sound from speakers. I hooked the RCA cables to the audio IN option in the back of the Sonos Port.Any suggestions for me to get sound from my speakers is appreciated.

I’ve had a Sonos Arc ARCG1US1BLK back in Dec 2020, and have a Sony Bravia 65” XBR-65X900F connected through an ARC HDMI cable. It works about 90% of the time but periodically the Sonos Arc will stop playing audio. Things I typically try to get it working again:Restart TV Disconnect/reconnect HDMI cable Restart Sonos Arc Switch from HDMI to TV source and back Switch between TV speakers and external speakersUsually only restarting the TV fixes it most of the time, but sometimes i just have to restart everything and reconnect everything. The past few weeks though it’s been happening very frequently. I’ve noticed it most when we’re streaming something and pause it. When we try to unpause the audio doesn’t return. What the heck is going on with this thing, is this a known bug that Sonos is going to patch? Can they maybe just add a button to “Fix/Reset” everything automatically. Not having a power button on the device implies there is no need to reset it. Except this thing has been frustratin

I’m looking for the best way to make a TV that is outside and connected to Wi-Fi a source within the Sonos ecosystem. I could connect a beam to the TV, but I am afraid of the outdoor humidity. Thoughts?

I got an Amp and will wire around my terrace, which is currently broken in two areas and I want to have 2 speakers on each area.My plan is: I’ll run them in Dual Mono and have two speakers on L and two on R, (L&R being each side of the terrace) Is there a way I can have each side have different volumes?I don’t mind if it’s the same music, but for example one side has a summer kitchen / dining and the other one has a lounge area, so settings / conversations might different so different volumes might be appreciated. The most logical answer is get another Amp but that would require me to drop another $750, is the a simpler way? anything “simple” that can be done in the app? any kind of volume control in the wiring that might help / recommended? I am DIY’ing this :)

Can I get my sonos system work from a laptop ? If so what do I need to download gone on the sonos website clicking the button for download and nothing Can you also get the app to work on I pad ?  cheers

Just found out i cannot control the Sonos Ray through the TV remote … and so on the look out for a smart looking remote for Volume Control. Any recommendations?

I’ve spent months trying to figure this out.  Through trial and error, I confirmed that when pairing a Sonos sub with a Sonos One, or One SL, I can only stream Amazon music in HD, and not Ultra HD.  A post from Dec 2021 confirms this as another user had the same issue with Play 5s.  Pairing the Sub with my Arc is fine, and streams Ultra HD.  Again from the other post, this is true for the Sonos Beam.  I will be reaching out to Support.  Looking forward to a fix.  I bought a 2nd sub to pair with my speakers for the enhanced music experience.  It would be great to stream to this setup in Ultra HD.

Hi,Appologies in advanced if this has been asked before.I have a old Panasonic 50” Plasma TH-50U30A which I am pretty certain does not do Dolby Passthrough from its Optical or HDMI ports.I have a spare Beam or Playbar (together with a Sub and two ones) which I can connect to this TV but in either case will only get Stereo PCM :-(Is anyone able to suggest a good splitter which I could use to connect:Apple TV → Splitter → Beam ARC Port (For Audio) and TV ARC or HDMI Port (For Audio) or Apple TV → Splitter → PlayBar Optical Port (For Audio) and TV ARC or HDMI Port (For Video)  Preference would be for the latter (Playbar)

Hi all , I'm using the S2 app for my beam gen 2 and I get the notification in the notification drop down menu on my android phone but when the TV is off the notification defaults back to the last radio station I had on but also I can't use the " remove notification" button , it does nothing, if I remove the home screen widget iam then able to remove the drop down notification, thing is , I like the widget ! Definitely a bug with the app .

I’ve recently received a Sonos Roam SL as a birthday gift, I’m having issues turning it off and it remaining off, as per the instructions I push and hold the on/off button for at least 5 secs (minimum) until I hear the second tone, indications are that it has turned off, even the app says it’s off line, after about 5 to 10 mins the white status light comes back on and the app I dictates it available. Any ideas please. Thanks

HELPJust bought Sonos Beam for my Phillips TV 46PFL3706/F7Tv does not have HDMI ARC or Optical portsHow do I connect ?

We have one of our Sonos Amp’s connected to outside speakers and it seems that the volume has to be over 50 (on the iPhone app) in order to hear any music. But the rest of our amps and speakers don’t go much over 20ish and have good sound. Do you think its a problem with the amp? or the speakers? any suggestions...

I have a Beam (Gen 2) hooked up to my Samsung TV and Apple TV box. Everything has worked like a charm for the last year or so.Having changed nothing, as of last night, I suddenly have no sound through the Anynet+ (Samsung HDMI-CEC) connection. Sonos still works fine via Airplay 2 with other devices. The TV sees the Sonos Beam, but when I increase the volume, rather than registering a volume number, I get a series of dots sweeping up and then it disappears (see image 1).I have spent several hours trying everything I can think of. I’ve powered everything off, removed the HDMI cables, turned everything back on and reconnected step by step. Everything is working -- except the sound through the Beam.I’ve tried re-setting up the TV through the Sonos App, but I get stuck at images 2 and 3.I’m stumped and very frustrated. If anyone could help I’d be truly grateful...Apple TV iOS 15.6Samsung TV 6100

Amazon Alexa is fully supported in Brazil, including full Portuguese-BR support and Amazon sells the full Echo product range on the Amazon Brazil store. And yet, the Sonos app tells me that Alexa isn’t available here??This is so frustrating because I went through a huge ordeal to bring a sonos arc to Brazil (its massive and I had to bring it through a separate cargo package as it doesn’t fit the luggage. And I bought it specially because the out of the box integration with Alexa groups and therefore echo products. This is very disappointing and I hope this is fixed soon :(

Hi all. I've been experiencing this for a while now. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.  When I open the sonos app on my iPhone 13 pro max it will refresh or search for the sonos system for a while. Initially saying no system available or errors are present and then eventually everything works fine. It's not really a big issue but sometimes it can take a while to open up and control the system. I've screen recorded what I mean. See the link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ieZo8X4MTgK1MB9V4fBP-gng_AWi_T6Q/view?usp=drivesdk My system is a playbar, two play:1’s and a sub. They're all in the same room as my router. Playbar is connected to TV and wired to the router.  Does anyone know if this is normal or if it is an issue with my system?  Is there a fox for this? I have reinstalled the app and factory reset all speakers.  TIAMike

Hello Sonos Community!I am considering setting my home up with Sonos, and I was hoping to get some specific answers/advice.I have 2xSonos One (G2) speakers in my kids’ rooms. I found that in order to use Alexa and Spotify independently (and not have the need to have ipads/phones in their rooms), I needed to setup 2 separate sonos systems entirely. This includes separate sonos, spotify,  and Alexa accounts. It works well, but was confusing to figure out how to set it up. My assumption is that I’ll be setting up a third Sonos system (call it ‘Home’) to control the remainder of my speakers and setup.   I have a Marantz receiver and wired 5.1 surround sound speakers hooked up already in my living room. I don’t think I’m interested in completely swapping this setup for Sonos speakers, but it’d be neat if I could incorporate the Sonos setup to leverage it.   I would like to put some outdoor / all-weather speakers outside on my rear patio.   I would like to add some speakers to my kitchen and

Since a recent update this stupid screen pops up, and you have to piss around with the app for five minutes to get rid of it.Ironically it's blocking the favourites screen, and serves absolutely no purpose. Please get rid of it.

Sonos speakers Symfonisk does not show to cast Youtube music, youtube. Sonos app is working and connects, but of course is not the same.

Hoping someone can help (I’ve tried Sonos Support but couldn’t connect through to a live person)… My Sonos Roam has stopped charging entirely. I’ve tried different chargers - the same charger is still powering other devices, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I’ve also tried holding down the button at the back, holding down the play/pause button and pushing on the button at the back. It is making no sounds/ no lights etc (I figure because it is out of charge? maybe?). I don’t seem to have anyway to get it to work! Ideas/suggestions would be very welcome! Thanks :-)

Today I bought a new Beam Gen 2 Sonos product at Costco and now that I’m trying to set it up it is requesting an e-mail and password that does not belong to me as if someone else linked their e-mail with this hardware. It seems that I won’t be able to fully use my new product if it linked and governed by someone else.

I've had nothing but trouble with my sonos since purchasing and completely regret going for this wireless system, alexa talks back and tells me she's playing the music I ask for but nothing at all comes out of the speakers, Spotify will not connect for some reason either so I'm left either using the system to watch TV or play sonos radio which I can't skip or pick a track on.  I've been through all the suggestions on the Internet trying to get it connected and working properly but nothing seems to work  Any ideas 💡

Hi all I currently have an arc + sub setup for TV watching and a pair of KEF LS50 Wireless actives for music. The great bass response I get with the Sonos setup has now made me want to hook up a sub to the kefs :)  is there any way to use my existing Sonos sub 3 for this? I know I can’t connect the sub directly to the kefs but would a solution be to use a Sonos Port? Would connecting the Port optical out to the Kef optical in allow me to group them together with the sub? I think I’m getting a headache

I am thinking about purchasing the Sonia roam. Is it possible to connect it with my TV / sound bar to take it into my garden and listen to the TV out there?

Will the Sonos arc, gen 3 sub work with home wifi which is T-Mobile 5g? I hope it does I want this system.
