I am thinking about purchasing the Sonia roam. Is it possible to connect it with my TV / sound bar to take it into my garden and listen to the TV out there?

If your soundbar is a Sonos soundbar then yes in principle by grouping, depending on wireless range.
Some TVs can output sound over Bluetooth, so this might give another option, but range and Bluetooth compatibility would be potential problems.
This is, at best, a non-core use case for the Roam and I would not rely on it for your purchase decision.
