What can I do if New Sonos product is linked to someone else's email

Today I bought a new Beam Gen 2 Sonos product at Costco and now that I’m trying to set it up it is requesting an e-mail and password that does not belong to me as if someone else linked their e-mail with this hardware.

It seems that I won’t be able to fully use my new product if it linked and governed by someone else.

This unit was previously owned. You should Factory Reset the unit.

If you bought it as new from Costco I’d talk to them, you should get a new one or a reduced price if you keep the returned one.

I agree with @Stanley_4 that if it was sold as completely new and not open box then you should take it back. If that is your plan then do NOT reset the device as resetting will destroy your evidence
