I have a Connect Gen 2 manufactured in 2018.  Is the sample rate for the analog to digital conversion on the line in 44.1khz? or 48khz?  Is it the same for the Sonos Port? For example if I plugged in a DVD player and the audio output was 16bit 48Khz, would the Connect down sample to 44.1khz?

Did the 14.4 update.. then trueplay. Now I’m getting this notification for the Arc. What and why is this? Hopefully a SONOS rep will chime in and give a definitive answer.

Hello, I have recently changed my router and since then my two ONE SLs constantly log out. I have spoken to several Sonos agents and none can fix the issue, one even remotely logged into my router and still nothing, all they did was disconnect my Wi-Fi. I have tried everything, please someone help

Hi There I bought a new Sonos Beam. It connected initially to the Sonos app on iOS. It then just disappeared and now it won’t reconnect and cannot be found. I have unplugged the Ethernet, HDMI and tried resetting the system but nothing. It works with TV via the HDMI but isn’t registering on the Sonos app. Help!

Hi,2 years ago, I had a VPN to use Alexa on my Sonos, because I’m from Belgium and it was not supported for that country at that time. For a reason that I can’t figure, I can’t do that anymore, but that’s ok because as you can see below, Alexa is avalaible since more than a year in Belgium :  BUT ! When I try to use Alexa on my Sonos app, or when I try to add the sonos skill on my Alexa app, there’s still this message, saying that Alexa isn’t avalaible in my country. I know that Alexa isn’t the problem here because it works just fine with other skills or with my eccho dot without using any VPN, it has to come from Sonos. Sonos, is there a way to fix this ? As a Belgian who finally get access to Alexa, I’m dying to be able to use it on my Sonos Beam or Sonos One, as I used to do years ago ! (And without having to use a VPN because it’s a pain in the a**...)Thanks in advance if you can help me. (Hope I was understandable, English is not my main language)

My main system is in my living room and is not a multi room system and I now want a multi room system for 3 rooms in the rest of the house. I am thinking of buying three One SL’s but need to understand  if they will do all I want.  I have a subscription to Qobuz and a sizeable collection of flac tracks on my PC and want to be able to access these. I also want to be able to play podcasts from my IPad and also listen to radio stations.  I want to create playlists which can be accessed by any speaker I want to be able to play something different through each speaker at the same time.   Will 3 One SL’s be able to do this or will I need to buy a Port as well

Hi all. I ran a S2 Sonosnet-based system in our home for some years with a Boost connected to ethernet on the middle floor of the house. All devices played smoothly and the matrix looked good.A pair of Moves was then purchased for garden use. They set up fine as a Stereo Pair and connected etc... indeed, all seemed well. However once out in the garden the Move unit which was furthest from the house experienced drop outs, freezes and general buggyness. I tried various things with wi-fi boosters and changing the wireless channel etc but to no avail. Finally I reset the entire system and started again, this time omitting the Boost and running the whole thing as a wi-fi setup. Success! - all configured fine and now the stereo pair of Moves in the garden run without issue and I can take them further from the house than before. So my question is this: because the Move relies on wi-fi and not Sonosnest, is it better to use a pure wifi setup for reliable Move performance, rather than one where th

Hi, I’m having trouble getting audio to play in stereo on my two Play 1 speakers when my CD player is connected via Sonos connect. Any ideas?

Hi, I made the original post below about 4mo ago. I was given the below solution in blue. I tried the solution & it didn’t work. I’ve been looking for the original Sonos HDMI cable, which I can’t find. I came back to this & tried again. I even did a Android software update to see if that would fix this. Nothing seems to work I followed the instructions exactly & the TV recognized the Sonos. My Sonos app, when I did TV Setup, said I was all set & connected to the TV. The Sonos device made a sound, but there simply is not TV audio coming through my Sonos. When i increase volume, the Sonos lights up but teh TV does not show any volume increase. This is so bizarre, because when I purchsed the Sonos & connected to TV 1st time everything worked perfectly & Sonos gave TV sound for about a year. Then just stopped. Nothing I do solves this. Sonos works fine for music on the Sonos speaker network. Can someone PLEASE help. Is this a Sonos problem or Sony problem??Original

HiI know there have multiple questions similar to mine.  But, not quite the same. So here goes.I have an ageing Onkyo TX-NR1009 AV Receiver and KEF KHT3005SE 7.2 Egg Speakers and wireless subs.  I love my system and it was expensive at the time. In our old house I had wired in and it was sweet. However, we have now moved and It’s pretty much impossible for me run cables to rear positions.  So I’m thinking I maybe buy Sonos to provide coverage to the hard to reach spots.  The way I see it I have a few options.  Even though I don’t know if they are technically possible  They are in my order of preference.Buy Sonos and incorporate it into my existing setup to provide the rear speakers and other awkward positions.  But also use Sonos to playback through my existing speakers Buy Sonos and keep it separate from my existing for either music or TV only. Don’t buy Sonos and find a way to make existing rear speakers wireless - any ideas ? Buy Sonos and dispose of my existing hardware - rather no

i purchased a sonos arc from a us retailer that had a euro power cord in the box. no us cord. can i just cut the euro plug end off and put on a use plug?i am concerned since the unit came with a euro plug that the arc soundbar’s internal power supply wont work on USA AC power

Have a wedding coming up.Have an existing Move.Needed a small system to play via Bluetooth .was told via support that I could use both the Roam as well as the Move together, but not as a Stereo pair to play the same music (Spotify Playlist) through both the Roam and the Move.No wifi will be available on site, will need to be fully blue tooth.TestingController S2 is installed.Configured a “Group” to include the Roam and the Move with Wi-Fi active.Sound Playing in Roam and Move.Knocked down controller to test full blue tooth functionalitybluetooth is activeBoth speakers are connected.Any attempt to share music between the two or to move off WiFi to full Bluetooth connectivity seem to result in either loss of both speakers or the Move. What am I missing?Should I buy another Roam, will that be easier?  (I was told this configuration would work without Wi-Fi,)Any third party applications that facilitate easier configuration?

I have a Beam 2 which is connected to a Samsung QLED TV.  I also have two B&O Beolab 6000 speakers which, using a dongle,  I can connect via Bluetooth to the TV. The overall sound is actually better using the Beam but I’d like to connect them via Bluetooth to the Beam and use them as surround speakers. Does anyone know if that’s possible or can I only do that using Sonos speakers?

after changing Internet Service from Xfinity to ATT the Sonos app can’t find my system. My wifi and other network setting are the same the only change is the  network IP from 10.0.0.x to 192.168.0.X I tried power recycle the equipment but it did not work. any ideas?

Please add two wifi switches.  One for 2.4GHz SonosNet/data and one for 5GHz used during ad-hoc surround/sub usage.  I want incoming data handled over Ethernet but still need the 5GHz for bonded speakers.

My sonos roam won’t turn on and it’s only 2 months old. Bought it for my birthday but didn’t get round to try connecting it to my sonos app until over a month. Tried to connect it with no luck and now it won’t even turn on. I heard lots of people have the same issue and other issues with sonos roam. What do I do? Many thanks.

Hi, I wondering if you can Connect a AirPlay 2 adapter to Sonos one and Sonos beam gen 2 through a cd player

I have noticed at several stores that are showcasing the arc that the area where the LED is is bulging and the cover around  it is cracked. Just wondering if this is an inherent problem and if anyone here has this happen to their arc?

Hello,I have a Sonos Connect, factory reset it, and green light is flashing. However when hardwired to router ethernet lights do not work ie. no connection between amplifier and router.  Tried different cables, different ports , resetting router ,etc but ethernet port will not connect.Any suggestions please?

I have an all Gen1 system, that includes a ZonePlayer. I can handle all the other stuff not working, but the Zoneplayer is what controls speakers in my yard with the outdoor TV.NO matter what I try I can not get the Zoneplayer to connect to the S1 app. Any suggestions?

Sony BRAVIA X90J TV audio output is not locking to the level control of the Sonos Sound bar Beam and sub. They get out of sync.

Hi,I recently bought a second Sonos roam which I love. However I’m concerned about security & privacy.  I was listening to music using my iPhone which  was connected to my Sonos roam via Bluetooth. Frustratingly my neighbour was able gain unauthorised access and mess around with the volume and the play / pause button remotely without my permission.  He does not have access to my Wi-Fi and we are not acquaintances.  How has he gained access to control my Sonos speaker? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening again?  Many thanks in advance

Brand new Sonos move and a base charger not charging.  I have another move so I tried and it charges using my old base. The new base will not charge either of my Sonos MOVE SPEAKERS.  Seems like a faulty base. I’ve checked it and it doesn’t have any debris or anything on the points. Any ideas?

Play 5 gen 1 does not show in S2 app, but does when logged into account on sonos.com on system, no upgrade option showing. Trying to get the discount so can upgrade on line store….. Any ideas why?
