Hi,My Panasonic Viera is set to 'surround' in the sound settings and it's connected to my Playbar with an optical cable.But when I watch standard freeview TV and a movie on disney plus on my Roku; my Sonos app still reports a Stereo PCM output.I am a bit nonplussed. Is there an obvious next step for me to check?

When playing an Amazon music station and I ask Alexa "who is this?". It always says the artist that is playing next. If I play a set of songs from my Amazon library it manages to say the correct artist.

Hii have a dual Sonos one gen 2 set up in the kitchen and a Sonos beam with Sonos one gen2’s but cannot workout how to get my Ring doorbell to announce on them.. it works on my standalone Alexa? any instruction would be appreciated  charlie

Latest update broke my system.  Totally unusable.  Any suggestions on how to recover?  I’m nearly ready to ditch Sonos permanently.  For the money spent on this kind of system, this kind of hassle should not be happening.

Recently the behavior when scrolling in the desktop controller for Mac has been very frustrating. The menu keeps reverting to prior menu when scrolling.Example, when you search an artist, and then begin to scroll through their albums, the controller reverts back to previous menu listing the artists. It is almost impossible to scroll down unless you go very slowly without this behavior happening. This behavior is occurring on multiple laptops in our household using desktop controller. Anyone else with this issue? System info: Sonos Controller for Mac, Version: 14.8, Sonos OS: S2 

So yesterday I spent approximately 1 ½ hours attempting to move my Sonos Amp from the wifi network that it is currently on to a new one. For reference, the new network that I want to connect to is an Eero mesh which provides a much stronger signal to the location where the Amp is located. Naively, I thought that switching would be a simple case of opening the S1 app on my Iphone, specifying the SSID for the new network and entering the network password. I must have tried the documented procedure more than 20 times, always ending up with the “Something went wrong!” message. I even tried connecting the Amp directly to my router via ethernet while running the setup procedure - still no success. Can anyone provide insight into what I need to do to be able to connect the Amp to the new network? I managed, maybe 3 or 4 times, to get to a point where the S1 app asked for the credentials (network name/password) for the new network however for some reason the Amp was never able to connect. Hello,I would like to request the following features:I would like the ability to autoplay a group from a line in connection. I see that we have the ability to autoplay a room, but I want to be able to automatically have SONOS play my line in throughout my entire SONOS system w/out having to select anything in the SONOS app. I would also like to be able to see my SONOS groups on the airplay menu. Can anyone confirm if SONOS is looking into these features?

Hi I subscribed to Apple One service yesterday.I’ve never been able to log in to my Apple Music account via Sonos App. All I ever got is this sorry “Impossible to browse your music”. I tried and deleted and recreated my account in Sonos app 10 times or so, to no avail. I still can connect to my Amazon and Spotify accounts alright. I’m getting the same message on my iPhone, on my iPad, and on my Macbook Pro (Sonos App). A friend of mine has had the message this evening, but got rid of it by connecting to another service (Amazon) and connecting back to Apple… Obviously, I tried this, but that didn’t work for me. Has anyone the issue?Thanks

I have a Sonos Beam connected to a Vizio TV via HDMI ARC. The TV speakers are disabled so Sonos is primary speaker. I followed the setup instructions and everything works fine:Volume up/down works Alexa works Beam manual controls workThe problem I have is that when I press the Vizio remote mute button, the Beam will mute for a short period of time but then will unmute on its own. The duration of time that it stays muted varies between a few seconds to a few minutes. Inevitably though, the TV/Beam will unmute.  I’ve done all of the following things to try to fix the issue:Unplugged power to TV and everything connected to the TV, waiting a minute before plugging back in. Unpair and re-pair the Beam Re-pair TV Re-pair remote Disable “Use IR” Disable Alexa “Word Wake Chime” Updated TV and Beam firmwareNothing I’ve tried works. Any thoughts? 

I'm using my Sonos Port basically as a pre-amp, powered by an Acurus A150 2 channel amplifier, and an Adcom GCD-750 CD player.  I'm getting really distorted sound.I've tried taking the Source Level down to 1. I've played around with the EQ. Nothing is working. When I remove the Port and connect it to my volume controller, it sounds perfect.Any suggestions?

I’m not sure this is a question. I don’t expect to get any a solution at this point. I’m writing this simply because I’m still in the struggle. And it’s quite real .I have 8 speakers, 4 of which are the Ikea lamps, plus one Ikea wall panel, a Roam, A Five, and a One.These speakers will disappear in random fashion, often multiple times per day, with no input from me. My WiFi is strong throughout the house, with 400 Mbps DL speed and 11.5 up. Sometimes rebooting the router will fix everything, but  usually not. There’s just no why or wherefore for any of it. It was all working fine last night, but I got up this morning to find the Roam was the only speaker the app could see, or find. Not at all surprising.  When I pressed the Play button on my Sonos Five, however, it and the 6 other missing speakers suddenly sprang to life , playing an album I was playing last night. Moving from my current home to a new house. I have Sonos One, built-in speakers, now, but plan to switch to a portable smart speaker. I have a ton of CDs stored on my iMac, which I’ll be taking to my new house. What portable Sonos product is best if I want to continue to play music that’s stored on my computer? 

I have four sonos rooms connected. One suddenly stopped working. It appears to play on the app but nothing comes out.  I have rebooted all the sonos boxes and the router.  

I have 20+ Sonos Speaker Products across 3 locations. I have been a loyal customer of Sonos.  2 of the locations work without issue and I have been very pleased with the Sonos Performance.  I recently moved a few working speakers from one of the locations to a new 3rd location.  I have (2) Sonos 1, (1) Sonos 3 and a Sonos Connect hard wired system supporting multiple rooms in the home.  This home has laptops, TV’s, Thermostats, Apple TV’s, Apple Home Pod Speakers, Peloton, Ring Security Cameras, Wifi Garage Door Openers, plus more and all work without incident across all parts of the home, end to end.  Wifi Testing shows high bandwidth connectivity in each room of the home.  Why do my Wifi Sonos speakers connect up and then drop from the S2 application?  The hard wired configuration works fine with no issues.  All of the speakers software is up to date.  What is unique about Sonos connectivity that is different from all other products?   I have been online with your teams and they’ve b

HiI have had Sonos products for 10 years now. 2 x Ones (stereo pair - bedroom), 2 x Play 3’s. (Separate rooms), Soundbar and 2 x Fives (paired) plus Sub. The recent problem is that the Fives keep unpairing and now can only use intermittently once I have reset them. At the moment I have lost 1 x Five altogether! Also, they lose  pLaying and get same music playing at different times. Usually have Radio 2 playing all day in the kitchen without any issue’s. Over the last few weeks cannot get them to work at all.  WiFi is good and no issues with any of the other products around the house.  Now as I type, the remaining Five has just gone off. Getting really peeved with this and thinking that going back to the old fashioned stereo from the 70’s would be more reliable, considering how much I have invested in this tech. Any ideas gratefully received. HELP

Ever since updating the S1 Controller app to 11.4.1 (iOS) I cannot add another S1 product wirelessly, I have to use an ethernet cable, I can then remove the cable and all is fine.This Connects I am adding have previously linked wirelessly without problems before the update.Anyone else experiencing this?I should add, the components I am adding are freshly reset units.

Hi, I am returning a Roam speaker to Sonos as it’s within the return window, and have factory re-set it. It still shows as ‘offline’ in the app though but it does not show up as an item under the ‘About my system’ list. I phoned Sonos and they had me re-set the app - it was still there.They had me re-set the app, then log in to a new account (using my normal details mind you - separate household?), then add the Roam to that account which I managed to do while on the phone to Sonos. Then the guy said it should be ok so we ended the call. So then I factory re-set the Roam again and re-set the app again and logged into my normal account/household (which the Sonos guy told me to do) and the bloody thing is still there.Will this thing just disappear of it’s own accord at some point? I will try re-booting my router later today but can’t right now as I’m working at home.

Hi All,I see this was a problem a year ago. My system worked fine until yesterday. Today, unable to access apple music and get the ‘Apple Music full outage message’. Sonos system is otherwise working fine. All speakers etc connected to network and all updated to latest version. I have just moved house and set up my existing system in various rooms at new house. The problem seemed to arise after I added in my existing play 3 and tv playbar. Prior to that, other rooms with play 1 speakers, sonos arc etc all had access to apple music.Any help/advice on how to fix this?Many thanks in advance.

Hi all,Last year I deleted my Sonos ‘Bridge’, and replaced the Sonos ‘Connect’ with the ‘Amp’. When I log in and look at My System, it is still telling me I have the Bridge and the Connect. Its not a big deal, but being a simple soul, I’d like to get rid of the reference to those items that I no longer have. Any idea how to do that, please?Thanks in anticipation,
