I will be cancelling my subscription to Spotify and want to switch all my playlists that were set up with Spotify to Apple Music. How do I get a list of the songs currently using Spotify?

Hi there, I'v searched n searched and can't find this anywhere, so just querying. Im using a full Sonos setup Arc 2xSL and a sub with my Xbox, it sounds great. I noticed the other day the Dolby app states that settings are not available for home theatre in the Dolby app itself. Is this just an override and we just use the EQ settings in the S2 app?  Many thanks in advance. 🙃

I have just added an old Play 3 to my network which also has a Beam and a Playbase.I have my music library of FLACs ripped from my CD collection on a hard drive attached to my router.If I try to play one of a fair proportion of those FLACs on the Play 3 alone, it doesn’t work; I get errors from “can’t connect” to “wrongly encoded”. It seems consistent which ones don’t play. They work fine on the other speakers, and they will play on the 3, so long as another speaker is also playing them. The moment I stop the other speaker, the Play 3 stops playing the song with an error. Other tracks are fine. All have been ripped with the same software and the same settings. I’m baffled, don’t know where to start debugging this, any ideas?

Its pretty strange, I am using a Mac Mini M1 with the latest OS and updates. My 2 SONOS Move have the latest updates as well but as soon as I use Apple Music, the connection to Sonos gets lost after 5 seconds and there is no sound at all. Once I restart the Mac, everything works fine but if I go away from the computer and try it again after 30 minutes, I again cant connect anymore. If I restart, everything works fine.Any idea what causes this strange behaviour?

Hi, I have. Sonos Arc with Sonos One surrounds connected to a LG OLED C2 TV. I get loss of audio intermittently when fast forwarding through adverts on recorded TV programmes and movies. When I switch off HDMI-CEC or eARC the sound returns.Anybody else having this issue, and have you got a solution?

I have a pair of play 3’s set up as stereo pair in a separate room. I want to reconfigure them as surround sound speakers in conjunction with my playbar/sub pair.   Not sure how to do this…

Hey Everyone,I know the general way of thinking here is to only wire one speaker to Sonos, however I have a tonne of wifi devices at home and my house tends to be a difficult wifi environment even when using SonosNet.I have 20 Sonos speakers scattered around, and the Symfonisk Lamps in particular seem to have really poor wireless connectivity and frequently drop out regardless of the SonosNet wifi channel.My ethernet network consists of a main TP Link Deco Router linked to a 16 Port Unmanaged Switch in my office which then feeds into 3 different locations in the house each with their own unmanaged switch on each end and Deco Access Point. I have found that wiring in as many Sonos speakers as possible to ethernet solves a huge amount of the issues I have with SonosNet. I’ve managed to wire in 11 Sonos speakers and leave 9 to SonosNet and the experience is vastly better.The issue is, if I have anymore than one of the ethernet wired speakers with Wifi enabled everything works really well

I am building a new home. I am not looking for a high end theater set up. Attached is my floor plan. I plan to use a soundbar, sub-woofer, and 2 ceiling speakers for TV viewing. Note TV is in the corner. I would use two ceiling speakers which are in marked in red with an amp. It is my understanding the ceiling speakers should be behind the seating area.  Does that seem accurate? My second option would be to add two more speakers (blue) and play only music through the whole room with 4 speakers. The room measures 26’8” x 20’6”. Can I have the blue speakers off for the TV and all 4 on for music. Can I accomplish this with one amp? Thanks. 

How many generations of the Sonos 5 are there?  Is there a big difference between Play 5 and Five?

Hello thereI would like to purchase a Sonos Arc but I wanted to check that it will work well with beamed ceilings. I have a small living room with a 7 foot ceiling that has beams. In terms of set up they would be running from fireplace to back wall. The Arc would be above the fireplace. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi folks, After 3 hours of battling and troubleshooting, I felt I had to come here and seek advice! 😀 I have a Sonos Beam Gen. 2 for my TV, and I just bought 2x Sonos Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers to use as surround sound speakers. However, I have spent 3 hours trying to get them to connect and register on my network....here's what happens:- The Sonos app recognises the speaker when it's first turned on, or if I factory reset it- I connect to the speaker, and scan my phone as indicated, which works fine- After connecting to the speaker, the app then tells me that it's connecting the speaker to my WiFi network. This process takes at least 3-4 minutes (which already seems suspicious), but eventually says that's it's successfully, but I may need to remove the power and reconnect it before it shows up in the "system" tab.- No matter what I try, the Symfonisk's never ever show up in the Sonos app after I install them! And here's what I've tried so far: - Unplugged each speaker and plugged t

I am remodeling a back patio and installing 4 ceiling speakers and a TV. With the sonos amp will I be able to stream music to the ceiling speakers and have the TV on minus audio through the tv? How easy is it to switch back to TV audio through the ceiling speakers? Thanks for the help.

Can the Ray be stereo paired with another Sonos speaker (ie a Move)?

I currently have updated to the latest Sonos App and run the update for the Sonos Roam.I am following the factory steps to add to the system and currently have a Sonos Roam in the system but for whatever reason I am able to add the Sonos Roam.  It tells me to power down the roam and restart.  Upon restart the Sonos Roam shows as offline in the app even after several restarts. I tried factory reset and to re-add a couple times and still no progress.

We have been using the Arc in surround setup for quite a long while, but recently we have been experiencing problems that it echo’s at times. It is very sporadic. But the two back speakers (Ones) are slightly out of sync. It always happens when watching TV, but today for the first time also happened playing music.The solution for it is to basically to turn the arc off and on (i.e. pull the power and reconnect it). Then it all works perfectly again… sometimes for a few weeks, sometimes for a few days.The Arc itself is connected wired and the two Ones and the Sub are connected through Wifi. We have a Boost.Anyone have any experience with this and perhaps know a solution? I’ve not changes any settings. I’ve played with the lip sych setting when it happens, but that seems unrelated.

We’ve purchased the Sonos architectural in ceiling speakers and amp. Is it possible to place the amp inside a cabinet with correct wiring obviously? Wondering if this will affect performance or temperature.Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi everyone. I am facing a problem lately with my sonos system although I didn’t have such an issue before.I have sonos five, move and roam. The last few weeks I encounter the below.When offline, Move and Roam do not appear as ‘offline’ in the app as it was the case in the past. Most importantly, for both Move and Roam (less frequent Five) I get a message ‘unable to connect to device. try again later’ when i am trying to start the speakers playing. A similar message i get when i am trying to connect/group the speakers to the Five when the latter is functioning. In some cases when the problems of point 2 above apply, in the app it is seen that the speakers ‘are playing’ (the bars on the right of the speaker window under ‘system’ are moving, however the speaker does not play actually).I tried with rebooting my router and re-install the sonos app. However the problems remain.Could you please help, or advise?

Since about May, the alarm on the Move has stopped working correctly. I keep it in the hall on the charging station, and at night I take it into the bedroom, where I leave it as an alarm clock, while the charging station stays in the hall. Up until May everything was fine, the alarm in the bedroom in the morning worked fine. But since May the problems started. The device turns on, but nothing plays. The Sonos app (S2, iOS ver 14.8.1) shows that it is playing, but the unit is silent. To start playing after that I might have to reboot the Move. It is important to note that the network configuration and network equipment had not been changed. What I did: I completely reset Move, reinstalled the application and reset the modem. But nothing helped. Who has encountered this and what can be done?The version of hardware: 1.25.1.7-2.2

I have two play 3’s set up as a stereo pair in my office. I’m getting constant song skipping when playing files from my sinology NAS. I have a Move in my office which doesn’t seem to be effected. Both 3’s are hard wired. I get error messages in the app saying a song can’t be played or is incorrectly encoded. I have created a support diagnostics = 378399938.I have a play 5 in the house. As a test I moved it to my office & hard wired it to the office switch. It seemed to work fine. Could it be the Play 3’s being older can’t cope?

How to play sound from Samsung phone (e.g. YouTube app or Netflix app) on Sonos Ray?

I’m having real issues streaming Deezer through Sonos (S1), which have been prevalent for over a week now.I can browse Deezer, access all my Deezer content (favourites, playlists etc), but when I try and stream through Sonos I get an error saying it can’t connect to the server, or it can’t add the tracks. Amazon Music, BBC Sounds, TuneIn all work fine, but not Deezer.I've tried reauthorizing the account, deleted the account and added it again after 10 mins, reinstalled S1, reset my sonos system (deleted all my speakers, turned everything off and on again, added everything back again) but with the same issues, but only with Deezer. Has anyone else had anything like this?

Hello all, my Playbar (and system) on S1 is still going great. We mainly stream Netflix etc over in built TV or Nvidia Shield Pro (even YouTube in 5.1).There's a few films I'd like to own in 4k and this comes with the DTS conundrum so for me a Blueray player that downmixes to 5.1 is acceptable.So that brings me to the Samsung M9500. Anyone on here still use one and is it.a decent player?, they goo for a big premium ove the K8500 (still UHD).Thanks for any comments.

Hi all,It seems like our Sonos Roam is only remembering one voice match profile - The latest one added. We can add an extra voice match profile using Google Assistant on our IPhone or android tablet, and it works temporarily - The Sonos Roam recognises and can identity both voices.However, after a while, it seems to forget one of the users and only retains the latest voice match profile added via Google assistant.This is an issue, as only one user can utilise the personal results features of Google assistant - For example, adding items to a shared grocery list on Anylist or Google Shopping Lists.I think it might be forgetting the second voice profile when the Sonos Roam is powered off using a 5 second press. Anyone else have this issue? ThanksJW
