Sample rate for line in on Connect Gen 2

I have a Connect Gen 2 manufactured in 2018.  Is the sample rate for the analog to digital conversion on the line in 44.1khz? or 48khz?  Is it the same for the Sonos Port?
For example if I plugged in a DVD player and the audio output was 16bit 48Khz, would the Connect down sample to 44.1khz?

The analog Line-In is sampled at 16/44.1, whatever the device.

The original sampling rate is irrelevant, as the DVD player must be outputting analog to feed a Sonos Line-In.
