Hi there, I have two living areas connected at right angle by doorway, looking at Sonos for streaming but also Turntable and CD Player.. default setup where i dont have to move the speakers all the time to cover both rooms in stereo without cables everywhere? Maybe 2 sonos Moves, wifi and wireless, but they'll mainly sit where they are.. Or 2 x Sonos 5 with one in each room, paired in stereo, but then no voice assistant which I do want.. Plus do i need a sonos PORT to connect up my amp, cd player and turntable for the rare times im not voice commanding spotify thru google assistant on my iphone? Happy to spend a couple grand.. so maybe it is 2x top-of-the-line Sonos 5s and a Sonos Port, but I still want to use Voice command. A rambling bunch of Qs, I know, but do you think I should get 2x Sonos 5 for great music AND a Move to get the google assistant voice control in the mix? Could plug the turntable direct to a Sonos 5 with RCA.. otherwise will need a Port as also have full Nakamichi

Trying to buy a package deal on Sonos.com, to use my 30% trade-up code.Is it really not possible to buy a package deal with a One and a One SL? Why would anyone want 2 One in the same room?

It seems US has already got the SVC released and seen online that France will get SVC (French?) later this year, but what about the rest of the world? Would be nice to see some kind of timeline for us who don’t want to share what we say with google or amazon.I would be happy to be able to use the same version as for the US, as English is still the main language in my household and I wouldn’t want a local language version.

Hi I brought recently a new Roam and had it set up in our house. it worked perfectly. Then I took it to our summerhouse to install it on the existing network there. This network already have a Sonos Play 5 installed.I followed the Sonos advise and had the Roam reset back to factory setting. Sonos Roam flashing green now and ready to install.Procedure:Sonos app is somehow able to identify the Roam and the Sonos app(Sonos2) suggest the steps which are followed;In the app it says “Add Sonos Roam”. I click Activate Lets add the Roam to your system. I click Continue App says: Making Sonos Roam ready. App work in progress... Error appear: We could not find any Sonos products on your mobile network, so we cannot configure Sonos Roam. Try again.I tried many times with same result. My Play 5 plays perfectly on the existing network. I have tried to restart my router as well.CheersDennis

Hello Sonos, I was wondering if there would be multiple voice options in the future for the Sonos voice control?

I have a problem with my second-hand SONOS PORT. I tried to set it up,  and i have done Almost everything but not the LINE IN settings.  I dont Know if there is a problem with the software, during the steps in the installation,  or maybe there is a problem with the hardware. I dont Know. Please somebody helps me. Sorry for my english, im from Spain. Thaks you so much.

Created a few new Apple Music playlists today and they are not showing up in Sonos.  I had now problems with playlists I created a week ago.  I have turned library syncing on and off on all devices (as per previous closed thread suggestion) but still no luck.  When deleting playlists from Apple Music these changes show up in Sonos but nothing when I add them.  Any help is much appreciated.

When I play a podcast on my app and stream it to my Sonos system each time it starts on 3 of my speakers like a group, but not the other 7. The three are not in an actual group. How do I get it to just instanly play on a set group without manually going and changing it everytime?

Hi guys,I’ve spent a few hours trudging around forums trying to find an answer to this, but coming up short so figured I might ask the community about my specific situation.I recently bought an LG OLED C1 77”, with a Sonos Arc soundbar and a Panasonic UB-820 4k Blu-Ray player. I have the 4k player connected to the tv via HDMI, and then the tv outputting to the soundbar via HDMI eArc. I believe that is the right setup? Please correct me if it’s wrong.Played my first movie last night, sound was coming through just fine, but I noticed in the sonos app on my phone that it was saying Multichannel PCM 7.1 Is it supposed to be saying Dolby Atmos instead? As far as I’m aware, I thought that was the goal. I believe all the equipment supports it. And I was playing a 4k UHD disc that states Dolby Atmos too.Just a tad confused as to what I’m supposed to be seeing. Still new to all this, and don’t want to missing out on anything.Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi. I currently have 2 Sono’s Amps hooked up, with them configured as such: 1 Amp - Connected to Kitchen Speakers2 Amp - Connected to Master Bedroom & Backyard Speakers I was wondering if there was a way I could individually control the music played on each speakers for 2nd Amp. So basically, wondering if I could play music in my backyard speakers without it coming out in my bedroom, obviously without needing to buy another.  I’m guessing this is not possible, but figured it was worth a shot.

Hello All, I have done some research on this issue, without a definitive solution that I can find. I have two Sonos One (Gen 1) and one Sonos 5 (Gen 1) and I have been relatively happy with these for years (minus the 5 that drops from my list of devices often and I have to “discover” it again, but different issue). This week I was given a Sonos Roam and immediately my frustration went through the roof. I am a fairly technical individual so I figured I would get the New Sonos app and use the original app to control the speakers that can’t upgrade (that still works, no problem) and use the new app to control only the Roam. However, the new app insists on finding the Gen 1 devices every time, and then locks the program with the screen that states these products are not compatible with the New App and open the Gen 1 app. This happens every single time. Why can the new app not just ignore the old equipment and run the new ROAM all on it’s own, without discovering the old equipment. Hi, I have a Vinyl Turntable (at-lp120 usb) with a preamp in it that I would like to play it on my sonos system. I plugged it to my Play5 (1st gen) with a jack but the sound is quite low and the quality disappointing. Anyone know how I could have a decent sound quality ? Should I use a connect ? or a connect:amp ? Thanks !  

Long story (sorry) I have had a Play:3 for many years… love the product.It used to be connected wireless to my old router (let’s call it “A”)I then switched internet provider and got a new router (let’s call it “B”)Router A is no longer connected to the internet, but still active (it is used as a switch to connect devices that don’t need internet), but router B is connected to the internet.I then removed the wifi connection to A, from my Play:3 speaker (via the Sonos S2 App). I then attached an ethernet cable from B to my Play:3 speaker. And it works perfectly. But still no wifi connection to B.Connecting my Play:3 speaker via ethernet cable is not solution (unfortunately) and I need to connect via wifi. But I cannot figure out how to do it. I have tried every to-do on this site and others. No luckWhen I try to add ‘a trusted network’ I press “Find System” and the little circle spins around 4-5 times and the times out and goes back to “Find System”…… not happy!What am I doing wrong?

My Sonos Roam freezes up EVERYTIME it is left alone for a while. This is unchanged whether it's charging on its base, or in standby mode, or left on. After a few hours of inactivity, it becomes completely unresponsive. The lights are on and pressing the button creates feedback noises, but it doesn't actually do anything, and it shows it to be disconnected in the Sonos app. The only solution is to power it down completely and start it again. It connects and works fine then, but sure enough a few hours later, problem reoccurs without fail. This is extremely frustrating. A quick search revealed that this seems to be a widespread problem. There's a reddit thread on this with people praying there will be fix soon. It seems like it started happening about 2 updates ago. The latest update did not fix this behaviour. Please advise. I've had this unit for less than 6 months. 

Dears,regularly and without predictable pattern my Sonos Play:1 plays an alarm chime instead of my preselected radio station at the programmed alarm time. When I manually start the radio station from the app, at any time of the day (also around the time of the daily alarm) the same radio station plays instantaneously and without ever failing. I submitted a diagnostics under the reference 1951871084 Thanks for your support & recommendations.  Jan Neujens 

Hello Folkscould someone kindly assist me please, I’m confused with the replies from this previously asked question 😥in “ laymans” terms how do I replace my existing soundbar with an Arc?I see replies about “unbonding” the surrounds and the sub, what does this exactly mean?is this remove them from the “room” and if so what happens to the playbar, surely it still exists in the “room”?I understand about adding a product ( the Arc) how do I then re add the surrounds and the sub?sorry to ask such a dumb question but I need it clear in my mind before I start!Thank youMartin

My S1 system not only skips songs mid way through it also rotates which speakers are playing. My system has 6 speakers and it randomly plays on different speakers. My system is up to date. 

I currently have:2x Sonos One Sub Amp, which powers 2 non-Sonos wall speakers. This is plugged into the TV through the HDMI eARCI tried to setup a surround system with the 2 Sonos Ones as the rear speakers but it wouldn’t let me.If I added one of the sound bars (Arc/Beam)would I now be able to use my Sonos Ones as rear speakers in a 5.1 system? will the sound bar and Amp (+ wall speakers) be able to play together through wireless Sonos magic? Or will I have to get an eARC splitter or something and plug both of them into the TV?thanks in advance (edit: wow time to change my username I guess. Was peeved with all the old speakers going obsolete but I’ve been happy with Sonos lately)

I have 2 speakers. They do not appear to be grouped however when I ask Alexa to play something through Amazon music I get the response “Amazon is streaming on another device. Do you want to stream on this device instead?”I’ve turned both off and on again. I’ve rebooted the router. I’ve also reloaded Sonos app. Now I can communicate with Alexa but cannot play any music from Amazon nor can I connect to a local radio through TuneIn.  

I had the Playbar and purchased a pair of One SL speakers to set up surround sound in TV room. Are they compatible?  Cannot hook up using Sonos S2 app.  If compatible, how do I hook up for surround sound?What speakers can pair with Playbar for surround sound?

Hi,I currently have an ARC soundbar, Sub, and Set of Ones surrounds setup. (Via eHDMI)I have some unused in-ceiling speakers as well. If I buy an Amp and connect these via banana clips...will the original setup still function the same too?Or do I loose the functionality of the Ones in order for the Amp to work with the other in-ceiling speakers? Note: this room is only used for watching TV, no music playing Thanks!

Weird issue. Randomly, every few minutes, the volume on our playbar jumps to 50 - mid point - and must be turned back down.  This happens whether we are watching TV (apple tv or direct) or listening to Spotify. The Playbar is not connected to any voice services. I’ve done the unplugging thing, system updates, etc.   Any ideas appreciated.
