We have a new built house with an open space kitchen/living. We listen to a lot of music all the time. I have provisioned two play 5 at the corners marked with red (power and ethernet connection at 2.5m height). Will it be enough? Any other suggestions?

Presumably, TV is to be independent, so I will not talk to that.

The challenge with large spaces is sound levels close by needing to be too loud to be well heard in distant corners. The solution is more speakers, spread across the space, playing as independent zones, but grouped together, and placed such that they are at ear height when sitting.

Sonos One units to the extent necessary for even coverage may be enough, in place of the 5 units and they do decent bass on their own. But this can also be augmented by a Sub bonded to one of the speakers that are near the centre of the space.

The plan does not seem to indicate a listening space that can be in the sweet spot for stereo sound, so no stereo pair is suggested, but two of the One units can be so paired, at any time later.
