HiI have had Sonos products for 10 years now. 2 x Ones (stereo pair - bedroom), 2 x Play 3’s. (Separate rooms), Soundbar and 2 x Fives (paired) plus Sub. The recent problem is that the Fives keep unpairing and now can only use intermittently once I have reset them. At the moment I have lost 1 x Five altogether! Also, they lose  pLaying and get same music playing at different times. Usually have Radio 2 playing all day in the kitchen without any issue’s. Over the last few weeks cannot get them to work at all.  WiFi is good and no issues with any of the other products around the house.  Now as I type, the remaining Five has just gone off. Getting really peeved with this and thinking that going back to the old fashioned stereo from the 70’s would be more reliable, considering how much I have invested in this tech. Any ideas gratefully received. HELP

Ever since updating the S1 Controller app to 11.4.1 (iOS) I cannot add another S1 product wirelessly, I have to use an ethernet cable, I can then remove the cable and all is fine.This Connects I am adding have previously linked wirelessly without problems before the update.Anyone else experiencing this?I should add, the components I am adding are freshly reset units.

Hi, I am returning a Roam speaker to Sonos as it’s within the return window, and have factory re-set it. It still shows as ‘offline’ in the app though but it does not show up as an item under the ‘About my system’ list. I phoned Sonos and they had me re-set the app - it was still there.They had me re-set the app, then log in to a new account (using my normal details mind you - separate household?), then add the Roam to that account which I managed to do while on the phone to Sonos. Then the guy said it should be ok so we ended the call. So then I factory re-set the Roam again and re-set the app again and logged into my normal account/household (which the Sonos guy told me to do) and the bloody thing is still there.Will this thing just disappear of it’s own accord at some point? I will try re-booting my router later today but can’t right now as I’m working at home.

Hi All,I see this was a problem a year ago. My system worked fine until yesterday. Today, unable to access apple music and get the ‘Apple Music full outage message’. Sonos system is otherwise working fine. All speakers etc connected to network and all updated to latest version. I have just moved house and set up my existing system in various rooms at new house. The problem seemed to arise after I added in my existing play 3 and tv playbar. Prior to that, other rooms with play 1 speakers, sonos arc etc all had access to apple music.Any help/advice on how to fix this?Many thanks in advance.

Hi all,Last year I deleted my Sonos ‘Bridge’, and replaced the Sonos ‘Connect’ with the ‘Amp’. When I log in and look at My System, it is still telling me I have the Bridge and the Connect. Its not a big deal, but being a simple soul, I’d like to get rid of the reference to those items that I no longer have. Any idea how to do that, please?Thanks in anticipation, 

Not sure if this is related to the SVC updates performed on my voice enabled speakers over the last 24 hours, but now when I access any speaker on my Sonosnet network via “ip-address:1400/support/review”, any voice-enabled speakers on the network that are currently playing cut out for approx 10-15 seconds before resuming.i.e. Any Sonos Ones that are playing (across multiple rooms) cut out, including the primary “wired” Sonos One (to enable Sonosnet), but my Play-5 Gen 2’s keep playing. Changing the IP address in the URL to another speaker makes no difference.Not a big deal, just wondering in anyone else is seeing this behavior.Just in case Sonos are interested…Diagnostic # : 1093743148For this diagnostic the wired Sonos One in the Office was playing and I accessed the URL from a wired PC also in the office using the IP address of one of my Play-5’s in the URL. The Office Sonos One stopped playing for 15 seconds before resuming. Ross.

Hello everyone. I have an older Samsung plasma television that has one A.R.C. output I'm trying to find an option that allows me to plug into the Sonos arc.  I know a lot of the audio extractors don't work with the sonos arc but I'm looking at the Biground eARC HDMI audio extractor.  I can't find any good information about this thing. It looks like it'll work if input 2 will output a video signal but it looks output 2 only does audio that wouldn't work as only input 1 does eARC and needs to go to the Sonos unit.  If anybody has used this extractor let me know if it worked for you.Thanks~Rob

Sonos been working reliably for years. Update to 11.4 has result in the following problems:-On Windows controller (only one I use) Rooms appear and disappear in the left hand pane. Can’t group rooms (assuming they are even present). Spinning cursor appears and then nothing. Everything also seem sluggish (music search, adding songs to queue, etc). Frequent appearance of spinning cursor. Rarely if ever seen before this update.Have restarted router, wireless network, internet and all Sonos components but no improvement. Network is working properly for all other functions.Any help or guidance appreciated.

I’ve followed these instructions repeatedly:Open Sonos. From the Settings. ... Under Music & Content, tap Add a Service. Click on Add to Sonos, then select I already have an account. Click on Authorize, then enter the credentials of the Admin account.#4 does not fully exist...after I click Add to Sonos it doesn’t have an option to select I Already Have An Account.  It brings me to a list of streaming services.  I’ve already got my Spotify account connected to my Sonos app and now I’m trying to connect, invite, add (WTF ever you want to all it) my wife and/or my wife’s Spotify.  When I click on Settings, + Add a Service, then Spotify, it tells me I’m already connected to Spotify.

I've been dealing with this issue for about a year. I continually have to reauthorize Pandora to work with sonos. Sometimes re-authorizing works, sometimes it doesn't. Error messages vary but "can't connect to Pandora" is common. Sometimes there is no error message, but when I push play on a Pandora station, simply nothing happens. I've spoken to technical support three times so far. The only thing those people can tell me is that it's a Pandora "network issue." That's ***nonsense***. I can play Pandora from the app itself, I can play any other music service, including amazon, through the Sonos app. I can even play Pandora after we authorizing, or sometimes removing and re-adding the service. I talked to pandora, they stayed dead since it plays through my app, it's not their problem. That certainly makes sense. This is clearly an issue with Sonos and they are of no help whatsoever. Has anyone else run into this frustrating issue? *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Communi

Hi everyone!I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and have had some difficulty getting my system setup to meet all of my needs, and I could use some help from the community. I’d like to mix part of my existing home theatre setup with the Arc as our home has some pre-wired areas (for rear ceiling speakers and deck speakers). Ideally I’d be able to do these 3 things:Desired Behavior Current Behavior Watch TV and movies in a 3.1.2 setup with the Arc acting as the 3 (if that is even possible??) The only way I can find to get sound to all speakers is to run media through the receiver as input, use the wired speakers (rear speakers + sub) from the receiver, and have the TV connected to the Arc via eARC. However, this leads to 2 disparate controls for volume level for the soundbar and the rest of the setup that is connected to the receiver. Listen to music inside (zone 1) on the Arc + rear speakers + sub I can either listen to music on the Arc -OR- the rear speakers + sub. Listen to music

I’m surprised that there is a gap in the Metal/Hard Rock category.  There are several metal stations based on year groups, but where is the Hard Rock?  New Lords of Metal plays a lot of great new metal but no hard rock?  So, where is the new hard rock?  It’s not even in the Rock category either?   It’s so funny, there’s multiple obscure channels playing the same death metal, but where’s the Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Halestorm, Black Label Society, Rob Zombie …  

Any idea why I can’t group these? Roam seems to be on Bluetooth while Arc is on WiFi

Equipment: Samsung UE55AU9000KXXU (2021)  Apple TV 4K  Sonos Beam (Gen2) + Sub (Gen3)There seems to be a number of topics describing similar issues but no definitive answer. I’m presuming it’s a lack of standards support somewhere but it’s really frustrating and I’d love to know definitively which device is causing the issue.The issue I’m having is I get intermittent audio from my Sonos with my setup. The easiest way I’ve found to recreate the issue is with Netflix although it happens with other streaming apps I use like Prime, Disney +, Plex. I can’t say I’ve ever seen it happen with YouTube or BBC iPlayer.If you just scroll around in Netflix, when you leave it a couple seconds it starts playing the trailer for the selected show. Sometimes I get audio, sometimes not. I can scroll to the next show, get no audio, scroll on, get audio, scroll back and get audio on the show trailer I had none on a few seconds ago. This just repeats, it seems totally random wether you get audio or not.  Th

Hello, anyone knows if Sonos speakers are compatible to connect via WIFI to a Samsung Freestyle projector?

Hi, I’ve noted a trend in what I’ve read here about this 14.6 issue in that the Arc is the predominant soundbar.  My soundbar is a PlayBar and I use a Boost.  When my system is stable I don’t experience audio drop outs I just get up in the morning to find my surround setup not working, i.e. the sub and play 1 satellites not present in the app.  Sometimes, like now, they appear ‘on their own’ without any intervention.  My diagnostic file is file ref: “321963361”.  I took this dump when the system had lost its sub and play 1’s.  The main purpose of this post is to flag that the 14.6 ‘drop out’ issue is not exclusive to Arc (or Beam for that matter).  I’ve previously been through the ‘missing products’ cycle but the issue re-occurs.

A bit annoyed when I went to use my system and the audio started to cut in/out and then the app couldn’t connect to the device to pause or lower the volume with the audio going in and out. Not a pleasant situation which has continued on for a few days now and has the left the system unusable!This possibly started with the 14.8 update. We use the system regularly and that seems to be the trigger. We’ve had the system for ~5years, so nothing is new (3 Ones, 1 Five, and 1 Amp). It’s on a Unifi network (USG,Switch, (1) AP) which shows no sign of issue or the devices connected (signals fine, traffic fine). The cutting appears to be from all audio sources (Sonos Radio, Apple, Amazon) and even occurs with airplay. Seems like the issue is on the device.I switched over to Sonos from Slim devices about ~5yrs ago, and have been using these streaming systems since Slim first came around. Hi All, I just started using the new Sonos Voice Assistant and it seems to be working quite well so far. Whenever I ask it to play an album or a song it likes to always default to Apple Music, but I’d rather it default to Amazon Music without have to always specify “On amazon Music” every time I ask it something.  Any ideas how to achieve this?Thanks

Hi.I’ve used Sonos Play 5 for many years on two different routers, and there haven’t been any hitches I couldn’t resolve.Now I have a new Zyxel 1661 Wifi 6 router, and for the life of me I can not get the mobile app to find Sonos. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’ve plugged Sonos to the router for possible updates. I’ve reset the app. I’ve rebooted all the things and followed every instruction, (turn on Bluetooth etc) and still nothing. The NFC can see Sonos, but the app just cannot.I’m no techie, but I think it’s fair to assume that the router hides Sonos from the app(?) even though the phone is integrated with it. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

When I travel the alarms on my Sonos system seem to track the local time on my phone. Does anybody else experience this? Nobody in the house so difficult to actually check what is happening at home.As I have a complete sequence of alarms to help maintain a lived in scénario in the house this could result in some crazy actions.   

Hi,I’ve seen topics about this issue but these are rather old. I don’t know if the fix that was developed is still applicable or that it’s already merged with later general updates.So the issue is that, after my Sonos speaker has been playing music for a while (from Spotify, Stingray, whatever), it starts repeating a track continuously. When it starts repeating, the controller shows track info that it is supposed to be playing, but instead it plays this track over and over.To stop this I have to switch to another channel.Is this still being under development and is there a fix for this issue?I’ve generated a diagnostics report, the number is 1028674601.

Hello, I just bought an Arc and Sub to install in my living room. Question with Trueplay in a massive room; do I just walk around the couch and “living room”, or should I walk around the entire open space that includes the kitchen, eating area, hallway, and playroom?The couch is about 9 feet from the tv, but the back wall is 15 feet further back (kitchen).see attachment for floor plan. I am impressed with this setup, I was initially concerned that I would need 2x subs with this massive amount of airspace, but 1x is fantastic, might get a 2nd one (used of course) just to have “better” coverage, whatever that means… HA!
