Situation: I come home, Sonos is silent. I think, “I’d like to hear <song x>”; I search for it, press play, I enjoy the song, the song finishes and then immediately after whatever the hell it was I was listening to the previous time I used the Sonos starts playing.How do I make it not do that? Ever? I never want that to happen. Do the thing I ask you to do, and then just stop doing things.

When I am playing Amazon music through my Sonos system it works fine for a while, but within about 30-1 hour my control on my amazon App completely goes away and Sonos takes control. So if I want to skip a song, change my artist, look up and play other songs on the Amazon App I cannot . The Sonos App usurps control. I have to shut both apps down and sometime even reboot my Android phone to have it work and gain for a little while… then it plays Amazon music for a while and Sonos takes over again. It’s incredibly frustrating!   Has anyone else had this happen? 

I had asked this issue two years ago. But this issue has been not resolved yet. Spotify had launched in Korea a few years ago. Why still Sonos not support to connect with Spotify in Sonos one yet? This is an unfair situation for KR users and Sonos would not handle it, I think. If anyone who is responsible for this issue in Sonos can check, Let me know the exact reason soon. Thanks.

was just gifted a Sonos One SL for my birthday, i’ve been planning to get more but am unsure how compatible gen 1 is with gen 2. The Sonos One SL I am assuming is the newest one out because was gifted it recently. If i wanted to buy more speakers, do they all have to be gen 2? or could i buy a Play 1 Gen 1 from a friend and it all syncs together? Planning to buy a beam/arc around christmas.  mainly plan to use for movies, music when friends are over.

Hi Folks, looking to see if anyone else suffers from loosing sound after fast forwarding on Sky Q Ultra.When I fast forward any recorded programmes on Sky Q Ultra and return to play I loose sound. I need to change my AV channel and return back to channel and sound is reinstated. I have try changing cables and inputs without any joy. So not sure if it’s the Sky Q box, Sony TV or the Sonos Arc

I’ve come back from holiday to find that some of my newer speakers (play bar, play3, play1, move) are no longer compatible with the Sonos s1 controller, only the s2 now works.  This is frustrating as I now have speakers which don’t all work on the same controller (which was the s1!).  What can I do to sort?thank you for your response in due course.

Hi, I see interference with sonos speakers after getting sky q is not unique. Have had sonos phone chats but problem repeats periodically.  Would a sonos boost be guaranteed fix to problem /Thanks.

The recently played area of the app (Android) never changes when I play new tracks.Can someone advise how to troubleshoot this?

My system connects to a NAS drive which holds my music library of maybe 2000 albums.  I’ve noticed in the past week or so (but could have been happening before) that the music library has now shrunk to maybe only 200 albums.  I have switched the NAS off and on.  I have re-indexed my music library manually (it is set up update every night anyway) and when i put a new album on the NAS and re-index it just isn’t seeing it at all.  Any ideas?

Hi there! I have been using Storytel for over 1,5 years in my Sonos S1 system. It has always worked perfectly. Since about 1,5 weeks, I cannot search nor browse Storytel content. I have tried to restart all my devices and also removed and readded my Storytel account. I can add it properly like before, but no content is available any more. All my other services like Spotify, SR (Swedish radio) and many others work perfectly fine. Logs here:1001481229There is nothing wrong with my Storytel account. Any help on what seems like a now dead Zoneplayer S5?I was using my Zoneplayer S5, and decided to click the Upgrade option for my System on the Sonos.com website. When I saw the 30% discount from a regular price wasn’t enough to attract me to upgrade, I decided not to upgrade. The next time I went to use my Zoneplayer S5, the lights were off, and I can’t get the unit to respond with any light. I have replaced the cable, and tried a factory reset, but I have not experienced the result expected. Does anyone if Sonos.com has a user agreement, currently or past Sonos, that had terms that allowed Sonos or its agents to artificially turn off or disable Sonos devices at their discretion or under conditions like an EOL? Wondering if Sonos Director, Corporate Counsel, Rebecca Schuster, or Sonos Chief Legal Officer, Eddie Lazarus, might be able to shed some light on the above question on the user agreement.I just want my Zoneplayer S5 to work like it did right before I clicked that upgrade butto

As per the title - I’ve had three One SL speakers connected and grouped, working fine for several months now. A couple of days ago one of the three just stopped putting out any sound - the app thinks it is playing through that speaker but nothing. I have spent several hours troubleshooting; I have dis/reconnected (no trouble connecting it to the network although it won’t play the chime so I have to input the serial number manually) and also installed the update that was available - although it definitely stopped working BEFORE I installed the update. Unsure what else to do! I’ve run a diagnostic on it and have that number, but my phone is unable to make calls at the moment due to tower upgrades, and Sonos never seems to have representatives available to chat (only the bot) so I don’t seem to be able to get help from them. Please if anyone has ideas let me know! ETA - I have tried using both spotify and the sonos radio as sound sources, and both work fine on the other two speakers still

My playbase has stopped connecting to my network and therefore have been unable to get it to function. It is the oldest piece I have in my system. I have done all manner of resets, unplugs, turned off my VPN, connected with a ethernet cable direct etc. but it still won't reconnect to my system. Any suggestions?

For the past few weeks I have started having very strange and sudden audio problems with certain content. Starting around October 4th anything on my Apple TV that was in Dolby Atmos format started sounding completely distorted. I am new to Sonos.  I run a vpn on my iphone all the time. However, after setting up my new speaker (Arc Soundbar) and the app, I realize that the app does not work while the vpn is active on my phone. I have numerous devices on my home LAN that have an app that can talk to them while the vpn is on.  It is a serious security concern (and major pain) to turn off the vpn every time I want to use the Sonos app. Is there a solution to this? Does Sonos plan to resolve?  In an age when privacy and security are a major issue, it strikes me as backwards that a leader in this space still has technology that has not adopted to the use of the various vpn services out there.   Any guidance is welcome.   Thank youJohn

Hi there,I'm new to understand the connectivity behind the walls and I would like to ask help to connect 2 sets of Bose 791 ceiling speakers with Sonos Amp. If this can be done, then my question is I see only 4 ports behind the Amp,  how do I connect 4 speakers? If there is any reference document to read on how to connect 4 speakers with 1 Amp, that would really help. Intention is to have all 4 speakers in same zone for living and kitchen.. Thank youVince

Hello Guys, i have the following problem. I want to use the battery mode of the sonos one but it stops working when it is removed from the charging dock. It also does not turn on when not on the charging dock although according to the app the battery is fully charged. It works only when placed on the charging dock.
