I consider having 12 Sonos One on the same network: “Room 1” and “Room 2”, being able to play both rooms at the same time or separately. Is this possible, or is it a problem?

Alexa does not respond on my speakers, I have tried removing voice services and re adding, also sign in and out of both sonos and amazon, disabled and re enabled the sonos skill.When I do this I get the following message in the amazon app.Alexa app says sonos app needs updating to link speakers but the sonos app is up to date.Totally at a loss and loosing the will to keep my sonos system.

Hi , I really need some advise as I’m getting lots of mix messages , To obtain surround sound can I use Sonos Celing and wall speakers with the arc 3rd gen and sub 3rd gen all runnning from the Sonos ampive been told that I should only do the Celing speakers or wal speakers combined with the arc and sub connected in to the amp to get the best sound surround tv experience  can someone please advicethanks  

 Hi all, I do not know where to turn for help on this matter so I am starting here. Any thoughts or ideas are most welcome please: I own a Sony X95K Bravia TV and use the Google TV native apps. I have my Sonos Arc connected properly to earc via HDMI and it works perfectly EXCEPT that starting last night there is no sound when I use specifically the HULU app. When I check the Sonos app it does not show receiving audio. When I use any other streaming app, the Sonos S2app shows the audio being received. All other apps are working just fine. If I disconnect the hdmi cable temporarily to the ARC or unplug the ARC, then the sound works when the TV speakers are being used rather than the Sonos ARC. I have done, I think, most of the normal fixes, restart the ARC, uninstall and reinstall the HULU app. I am not sure where to turn to try and get this working again. I would appreciate any thoughts or help. Thank you, John

I’m no doubt repeating the same question. Can anyone assist definitively - I have a S1 controlled system; a One, a One SL and a Connect:Amp (1st generation). I’ve just purchased 2 more One SL, but the S1 app tells me I need to use them only with S2 app (even though I have a One SL on the S1 ‘system’ already.  I’ve tried the downgrade with S2 (as Sonos suggests), but it won’t even find it, unless I completely set them up (on another wifi to avoid it messing up the S1 group), and as soon as they are set up, the downgrade option is greyed out.  Any definitive help out there?

I have the play1 fixed on a wall with ceramic tiles and power supply cable also integrated in the wall, esthetically perfect. My grouping no longer works when I play music via airplay and group. It seems to work fine if I play right through my songs app, but via AirPlay it maybe works for a few seconds then cuts out and doesn’t come back.

Can I plug a hardwired sub woofer into the connect Amp when it is being used to power surround speakers paired with an Arc?

TuneIn just plays endless loops of commercials and never gets to the actual station anymore.I don’t mind a few ads,  but an endless loop?!it happens on almost every station I try.I should also say that this only happens on Sonos.it works great in my car and phone.any ideas?

When I click on playlist (Sonos or Amazon) it doesn’t open that playlist it simply starts playing music on shuffle. There is no way of drilling down into any playlist and choosing a song any more. It also sometimes says ‘operation failed’ but plays the music anyway. I have tried removing my Amazon account, signing out, deleting the Sonos app and reinstalling and then updating the app. Nothing works. Any help?

Hi. I have my Samsung TV connected to my AMP using an HDMI over ethernet (cat6) adapter. The sound connection is recognized on the TV but I'm not getting audio to the ceiling speakers or fronts. I'm trying to set up my in ceiling and front wall speakers along with in wall subs into a souround sound set up. I suspect that there is a lot going on there. Any suggestions? Thanks  

I bought a new projector with Android TV version 10 from Xgimi (Elfin). Now I wanted to pass the sound on to my Sonos Roam via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the Roam makes absolutely no sound. I've paired and restarted the whole thing several times. Also tried it with other Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Seems to work there with no problems. Has anyone already gained experience specifically with the Xgimi projectors or with Android TV or Google TV? Is there possibly an incompatibility with Sonos products?

Hello! I tried to fit the whole question into the title, but will clarify abit.I have a Sonos AMP Gen 2, which I have connected a 3rd party subwoofer to using the RCA LFE out on the amp. This works perfectly, but it also activates an adjustable high-pass filter for the main speakers. I wish to turn this filter off completely and have the full range signal go to my main speakers, even though I still use the sub. I cannot find this setting anywhere. Thankful for assistance!

I am considering Sonos set up for my new home. In my new home I have great room , dining room and kitchen all in one straight line. The kitchen is far from the great room wall where my TV hangs. I have prewire set up for rear channels in great room and two speakers in kitchen. So this is what I intend to do and please let me know if this is possible. I will have a Sonos Arc under the tv to act as 3 channels. I will have a Sonos Amp connected to Sonos Arc. This Amp should power the two rear channels in the great room to create a 5 channel surround in great room. Now since the kitchen is a bit far, I want the same Amp to also power the two in-ceiling speakers in my kitchen with the same audio as great room but as a separate room. I do not want to create a 7 channel system, what I want to create is a 5 channel system in the great room and a two channel system in my kitchen playing the same audio. Is this possible? How can you play and manage music with TV off?

We have multiple Sonos amps that play different zones all over the house. I have no issue using the iPad. When I pull it up on my iPhone 2 zones are not in the list. On the IPad they are visible, on my iPhone they aren't there. All on the same network and wireless. It's as if they are hiding from my iPhone.They work fine from the iPad but from the iPhone they just don't show up as a zone to pick but all the other zones are there and work fine from the iPhone.All Sonos uses a wired connection to the network.  Anyone else have this issue? Anyone figure out why? Thank you 

Not sure of this has been asked already.My set up Sonos Beam Gen 2, Sub Gen 3 and pair of One SLPC Windows 11 - Ultrawide monitor. I want to connect my RTX 3090 GPU HDMI to HD Fury Arcana HDMI 2.1 HDMI-in and the Sonos Beam Gen 2 to EARC-out, but not connect the other HDMI-out to any display as I will be using the display port from my GPU connected directly to an ultra wide monitor. Will the sonos beam work in this set up without a display by using a Nvidia control panel to select HDMI audio only My goal is to be able to play games in Dolby Atmos with Dolby Access software from the Microsoft Store.

the sonos system recognizes the sub but when I try to pair it it gives me "setup problems"and does not associate it with any room 

I’ve enjoyed system for 2+ years and just recently experienced random loud popping noise out of ceiling surround speakers then sound stops out of ceiling speakers and goes down to minimal sound out of Arc.  

Hello all,Over the last weeks I started having problems with my Sonos system.I have 3 separate rooms defined:[a] Play:1 stereo pair [b] Play:1 stereo pair [c] Play:3 stereo pair + Sub + PlaybarEvery room by itself seems to work fine. But when I start to group rooms, for example [a] + [b], two problems occur:One of the speakers in one of the pairs goes mute/silent (this one is pretty consistent). When I ungroup, it goes back to work perfectly fine in stereo with the other speaker in the pair. The rooms go out of sync between each other by fraction of a second (this one seems random for now, or it goes out of sync in time).All components are fully updated, all components are on S2. I have a very stable and fast network connection and each speaker is not further than 7m away from the wifi router. I haven’t seen any such problems at any time in my 8+ years with Sonos…Any ideas? Is it a known issue(s)?BTW, is there any kind of “factory reset” for Sonos units, especially the ones I own?Thank
