Hi, apple music does not work. Says cannot connect to apple. Other services work just fine. Anybody has the similar problem? Tanks.

Hej SonosVores Sonos Playbar er begyndt at lave en meget hørbar højfrekvent hyletone/summen. Det er lidt som om lyden svinger lidt i frekvent.Lyden høres primært når højtaleren er i standby (ikke afspiller musik), men er også tilstede når den er i brug - her er hyletonen dog skiftet lidt over i en sussen/summen.Vi har forsøgt med genstart og nulstilling, som desværre ikke har hjulpet.Hvad skal vi gøre - Håber I kan hjælpe med en løsning.På forhånd tak

Is the windows controller able to handle both newer Sonos products like Ray , and integrate older legacy products like Play 5 together…. Seeing the controller is not S1 or S2 designated … I haven’t tried yet but will at some point when I bring a set of play 5s back from the cabin…

        After the 14.18 updates recently, the link for Trueplay was sent to me in my iPad and I duly did it in my room which consisted of the Arc, a pair of One SLs and the Sub Mini. There was no problem (both steps) and i was successful on the first occasion and of course the overall sound improvement was instantly noticeable.         Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my set up in the hall. I have my Playbar, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of One SLs. I was unable to even get through the first step of the Trueplay because apparently there is some noise interference in the hall. I had this done at 5am in the morning with everything off except the lights and no outside noise either. I have been trying since but have been unsuccessful all the time - not even the first step. For your information the set up was on Trueplay before the updates. Can anyone enlighten me on what to do about this?

I am considering buying a Beam gen 2 to take the atmos sound. Will I still be able to use my old play 1 speakers ?I currently only use the Controller 1Will I be able to get atmos as my TV only has ARC not eARC?

I’ll be retiring in 1-1.5 years and the wife & I are planning to move to South Korea to live for 2 years before returning back to the US. I have several Sonos products and soon planning to upgrade from Sonos One to Fives to complete my system. I would like to take the Ones, Fives & Move with us to Korea. Will the Sonos work in Korea? Will the Sonos app and Spotify work? 

I have connected my ion Max turntable to the play 5. The music plays through Play 5(2nd Gen), Beam and sub mini. The bass does not sound great. However the same music played through airplay from Spotify sounds great. What am I doing wrong? I can feel the subwoofer vibrating but there is hardly and bass. thanks. 

Is it safe for the Sonos roam to be charging in the bathroom while showering behind a glass door? 

I’ve had my arc only for 2 or 3 years and today is stopped playin tv audio. Nothing changed overnight. I can’t believe it lasted so short a time. I have absolutely no idea how to get it working again. Sonos app says connection issue. Tv no longer shows connection too.  and here… to post Sonos wants me to choose a subject… where the hack is that. What is the difference between sonos one and sonos one SL

I have a 5 connected by line to turntable. Can I also connect  to my sonos system?

Since upgrading to the S2 app, my Gen 2 Connect Amp is not working properly.  I have it connected to a Yamaha Receiver via an RCA plug.  There is a signal going to the receiver as I can hear music playing softy on the receiver but only when the receiver is dialed to extreme volumes (near max).  I have tried different RCA plugs and different receiver inputs (Audio 4, 5, and Phono) all with the same result.  Customer service says everything looks to be working from the trouble shooting codes.  Any ideas? BTW, when I reset the connect to see if it would work on the S1 app, the S1 app keeps directing me to use the S2 app and doesnt give me an option to use it.  Not sure if there is a work around for that...

Wether it is a track on my local phone, or a Spotify playlist - if the track is over an hour in length (like a DJ set mix), the Sonos app grays these out and will not play them. However, if I open Spotify or Apple Music and stream it to the Sonos speakers, it works fine.My first thought is some sort of DRM protection or something else that’s blocking based on length, but not sure. Anyone else encounter this issue?

Working with a large system consisting of 16 x Sonos Ports feeding a Symetrix Audio System with automatic signal sensing, whereby the Symetrix switches over to Sonos when it detects a signal coming out of the phono output. Has worked perfectly fine for the last 18 months then started playing up around the end of September.Managed to properly troubleshoot today and worked out that the Sonos is outputting a momentary signal exactly two minutes after the Port is paused/stopped but I’m also suspicious that it’s sending out this same signal at other random times as the client has reported the Symetrix switching sporadically for the last 5 weeks. Have a feeling this is down to the Idle/Eco mode  that was advertised as being rolled out on all Sonos products in 2022 but just wondering why it outputs a signal when going into idle mode and if there’s any way around this?From other posts I’m led to believe that it isn’t possible to disable Idle Mode so wondering how I’m going to fix this without

My family room system setup has one Arc , two surround One SL all connected and working fine.   I bought two Sub Minis yesterday.   I was able to add and pair Mini 1 with the existing system.   Added Mini 2 also BUT unable to assign to existing system .   I get error message saying  “ A compatible Sonos Speaker is required to add Sub Mini and make sure speaker is powered on and connected to wifi “.     But Arc speaker is already working fine with Sub Mini 1.     Why same Arc is not compatible with Sub Mini 2 ?   Thanks for your guidances.  

hi guys i recently bought a LG G2 and connected it to my SONOS Playbar (7 years old). things seemed well for a day or 2 but it started to get intermittent issues.very frequently, when i turn on the power for both, and i turn on the TV, the there is no sound from the Playbar (output from TV is set to Optical Output). when i press the tv remote, the sonos only flashes the white LED when i Volume Down, but no light nor sound when i press Volume Up. Controls also not working from my iphone Sonos app when this happens.then i go to the tv sound settings and change it to hdmi, and back to Optical, the sound comes back and everything works as it should.Both devices are on the latest firmware.the optical cable is connected properly (no issues on previous Sony TV).could i have damaged the optical cable during the change of TV? what could have caused the above issue. or could it be the Ethernet cable that has issues? Thanks!

So my Arc setup is connected RTX3080 → LG C1 eARC → Sonos Arc + 2x One.How do i get (upmixed) surround sound like 5.1 from PC Browsers like for YouTube/Spotify websites?Games work fine no matter Dolby Atmos or 5.1 LPCM.

Since couple of weeks (after update?) I am unable to stream from Spotify to Sonos Connect. Using Spotify in Sonos app has same result.I have two Connect’s, both connected via LAN, both show the same behavior.  Streaming to other Sonos devices works fine. Streaming from other sources than Spotify works.When grouping Connect with a Play:1 streaming works on Connect.Reassigning Spotify account and restarting complete network didn’t solve issue. Anybody else with same issue?

I initially wanted a FIVE for my living room, but in the same area i have TV setup - so NOW im actually thinking of upgrading my TV  to Beam + Mini sub. So my Q is, would the Beam + Minisub be sufficient, making the FIVE somwthat obsolete when just listening to music? Or does the many amplifiers in the FIVE make it superior as stand alone?

I have a Playbar connected to a TV via optical connection. It is in a surround setup with two rear speakers connected through a newer amp. I noticed today when I put my ear to the playbar it sounds like there is audio only coming from one of the 9 speakers in the middle. Is this normal or is there anything I can do? Thanks

I was chatting with Sonos Support to try to resolve an issue with one of my speakers getting out of sync.The individual mentioned “group coordinator” but there isn’t any setting for creating one or even much mention of one in the sonos support / documentation.My system worked fine until a recent update and then one of my Sonos Connect devices gets out of sync with a couple of nearby speaker pairs, one connected by wifi and one connected to my home network via ethernet.Help appreciated.Jim P  

I am looking for a high quality DAC/Preamp that will play nicely with Sonos. In particular, it would be great if it was “Works with Sonos” certified. I see based on that site, that the Onkyo, Pioneer Elite, and Integra A/V receivers have this capability. However, those are way overkill in terms of features for my 2 channel setup and often have less than stellar DAC chip implementations anyway.Quite by accident I discovered that Meridian actually integrates “works with sonos” in their high end Dac / Digital preamps - which is great! But before I go buy one of their units, are there any other similar “high end” vendors that also integrate with Sonos?

HiFor some years I have had my Music Library on a NAS, but that one is scrapped now, and I want to have my Music Library on an 1TB USB3 connected M.2 drive on my M1 Mini. I have my Apple Music on the same disk (different folder of course), and this is working well.Shared folder added to Sonos Controller is: /Volumes/Ext_M1_1TB/MusicExt The folder is shared for Sonos as Custom.When I Scan, nothing seems to happen. I have tried to have the app open for some hours to see if it was scanned, but the Music Library in the App keeps empty.Any ideas?br Lars

When trying to change my default service, YouTube Music was missing from the list even though it is one of my services. Thanks for any help!
