hi everyone,  just got my new sonos set up, went full in.  arc, sub, 2 1’s for rear (along with a couple others for house).so far I am loving it, however I cannot seem to figure out how to get atmos (always showing pcm 5.1)I have an 85 inch Sony x900f which has an e-arc input.  what am I doing wrong? Netflix & Prime shows audio as only 5.1 when browsing any title.  Xbox audio settings say “dolby atmos for home theatre (hdmi only)”This might help explain better…..Peaky Blinders on the Netflix app built into tv shows 5.1Peaky blinders on the Netflix xbox app shows atmos ………. why? and how can I fix this? Hi,I’ve seen a similar question with a suggestion of using an hdmi-to-optical adapterthe relevant pages from my tv manual: pg1, pg2, pg3 Are there any downsides to using an hdmi-to-optical adapter? latency issues? sound quality issues? Is there a recommended converter, or anything I should be aware about in the specs or just buy the cheapest converter?Lastly, the need for complex connections got me rethinking the suitability of Ray. The TV in question is in the kitchen and is not used for viewing movies, but only broadcast tv (mostly news). The TV internal speakers seem adequate, and I have a couple of Sonos One SL in the kitchen for music.My plan was to connect the Ray to the TV and move the One SL that is next to the TV to a room that does not have a Sonos speaker. This way listening to music in the kitchen would be with the Ray and the One SL, and the TV’s sound would be enhanced.Since the connection to the TV is going to be complicated, I think it would be easier (and slightly chea

Hi all. Have read so many articles on here but I’m still lost.just picked up my new OLED LG tv (55CS6LA). The tv shows it’s connected to Dolby audio, but upon streaming Winter Soldier (Dolby) on Disney+ it is barely audible on rear speakers (but they are obviously connected) and showing stereo pcm on the app. Doesn’t make any difference whether I stream direct on tv app, or on the fire stick. suggestions much appreciated!!TT

Hi everyone,I’m trying to set up Sonos Voice Control with Deezer, but I’m unable to.Every time I try to search Deezer music via voice control, I get the error that I have to reauthorize my Deezer account in the Sonos app.I have done that multiple times (successfully), but the error does not go away. I’m unable to search Deezer library via voice control.I also tried to remove and add Deezer account altogether, but it didn’t help. I also tried to remove and add again Sonos Voice control.However, when I play the Deezer music manually with the Sonos app, basic voice controls such as “next track” and similar work ok.Thank for your help and I’ll be glad to provide any more info if necessary. 

Hello,I’m about to lose one of the 4 ports on the back of my (BT SmartHub2) Router (it’s the LAN port and I’m about to get FTTP).I note that the Sonos Boost that I have has 2 Ethernet ports. It is currently, of course, hard-wired to one of the ports on the Router.Can I therefore plug another of my devices, that is currently also hardwired into the Router, into the unused port on the Boost and it will act as a switch to route that device’s traffic to/from the Router.

Amazon Music Unlimited has a “play similar music” feature on artists, albums, songs, and playlists within the Amazon Music App, but I can’t seem to find that feature when I go to Browse → Amazon Music within the S2 App.  Does this feature exist in S2?

Hi,I’ve got an M1 iMac and M1 Macbook Pro running Ventura and neither one will let me update the Sonos controller. The controller prompts me to update it, it downloads, starts installing and then fails.  Anyone having this problem?

Hii just bought an Arc connected via HDMI to my Panasonic ARC port and can only get audio if I choose audio output Normal not any of the Dolby options.  TV source is a 2TB sky Q box that is rated to play Dolby options As anyone got a solution please????

Music stops playing and goes back to tv sound for no reason

Hello everyone, when I play a song through Spotify application from Sony smart tv, the sound is perfect and can go very loud if you want, but when I play a song from Spotify application on phone or from Spotify app inside Sonos application, the sound from Sonos beam cannot get very loud at all..

Hi All,I use the Sonos app to play music. But I have a frustrating issue I am hoping you can help with.If I am in the kitchen, and select some music to play, it will play on the kitchen speaker. From here I can choose to play in the living room also (which is next to kitchen).If I walk into the living room. And choose to extend the music playing into the living room, it doesn’t show me the option for the kitchen, and therefore I lose the ability to joint control the two rooms.Does anyone else experience this?

My computer is my main entertainment hub, my large monitor is basically also my TV.  I want to get a pair of nice bookshelf speakers and I’m looking at the KEF LS50 Meta’s. I’ve narrowed my amp choices to the Sonos AMP ($700, 125w), the NAD C700 ($1,600, 80w), or the Denon PMA-150H ($1,000, 70w). I’d prefer the AMP because not only is it the cheapest, it’s also the most powerful.  I’ve done a fair bit of searching prior to posting.  I know using an AMP with a computer “is not the intended purpose” but beyond that I’m curious about the delay. I understand that when GROUPED, the minimum delay is 75ms, which can cause lip sync issues.  However, in my use case, I would just be using wired bookshelf speakers, UNGROUPED, with the optical out of the computer to the optical to HDMI converter into the AMP.  From this thread, buzz said:When SONOS players are “Grouped” there is a 75ms latency. Any idea why I can’t connect my Sonos 5 and amp? I have a turntable with line in to amp, it will play on all my Sonos speakers apart from the Sonos 5. All other speakers will connect to the Sonos 5, for example I can play the tv through Sonos 5. But just can’t get the amp and 5 to work together. I have factory reset everything and created a brand new home network, but still can’t get the two products to work together. Any suggestions would be welcome…

Hoping someone can help me here. I have a two level home with an apartment downstairs. they are on separate wifi networks. I have added devices downstairs to that network. Can I now create a system on the upstairs network and add devices to that  All under my one user account. Got me stumped, when I go upstairs and connect to  new network It tells me my system and phone are on different networks.  Which is correct!So how do I create new system for upstairs?ThanksGed

Hi! I just got the full streaming version SiriusXM platinum, downloaded app on iPhone and wanted to connect to Sonos. In Sonos app under Add a Service tab the list does not contain SiriusXM. I see in forum there have been a lot of issues here. Help please

My Sonos arc has always worked fine and volume controlled by all remotes. I paused a show for a moment and when I returned the sonos arc was off and I am unable to even turn it on (get a light of any sort) again. 

So I just purchased both a sonos one (gen 2) and an audio Technica lp60 turn table. Is it true that if I purchase a Sonos roam speaker I can pair it to the turntable and then pair with the Sonos one?

How do I turn Beam off or on?  Want to compare sound quality of TV compared to Beam. 

  Hi,Recently purchased a brand new sealed Sonos Arc and upon opening, I’ve noticed some oil/grease marks on the side grills. I spoke to the retailer who is well known in the UK and a swap was arranged. Just opened the new unit today and the same issue. The retailer has been sent the pictures and they are going to swap it again for me tomorrow.Anyone here experienced similar issues? It’s annoying as I’ve never had issues with Sonos and the packaging was intact on both deliveries including all seals etc. Thanks.  

Hello,I have a problem with the trueplay function. I have 2 sonos play 5 gen2 in stereo and when I activate the trueplay, the sound volume is unbalanced towards the left. I have redone several calibrations. Separate the stereo. Nothing works. By deactivating trueplay everything is back to normal except the sound quality.... I have read that other users had the same problem. Any solutions to come? sincerelly

Hey guys, first post here, I bought my first Sonos product last week (Sonos Beam G2) and I’m loving it since then. But I’m having a little issue when I’m watching content on the streaming apps (D+, Netflix) of my tv (LG C2). The thing is, when I put Digital Sound Out to “Passthrough” I get a 2-3 seconds delay when pausing and unpausing movies/series, on DV, HDR and regular 4K content. When I unpause, the video starts and the sound takes a few seconds, and when unpausing the same, the video stops but sounds keeps playing. When I try, for example, Youtube videos, it doesnt happen, it pauses and unpauses fluidly without delay. The “solution” I found to avoid the delay is to put Digital Sound Out to “Automatic” but it loses a lot of sound quality.  If someone can help me why this happens on streaming platforms and why on Passthrough setting, or help me fix it, would be so thankful Sorry if my English is not perfect, not my main language, thank you in advance!
