I would like to add surrounds to my arc and sub. I have a couch that is against a wall with no room to add play 1’s as surrounds. It looks like only way would be to use in wall speakers. I'd appreciate any input as to speakers to use as well as how to connect to Sonos arc. I'd like good sound but not looking to break the bank with setup. Thank you.

TL;DR: My Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers keep cutting out for 5-10 seconds every hour or so since I’ve moved my router. My Play:5, which I’m using for Line-in does not cut out, and keeps functioning all the time. Check Photos.    My system is a Play:5 (gen 1) and two Sonos One (Gen 2). I’m using the line-in on the Play:5 to use the One’s as PC/TV speakers. They sound great and used to work perfectly, but I’ve moved my router and now there are issues.   This is what I used to have. Blue lines are Wi-Fi/Sonosnet, Red lines are wired through TP-Link Powerline Adapters:      My internet situation changed so I had to move my router to a different corner of the living room/kitchen.      I tried this set-up first, but when I started experiencing the audio issues, I plugged the Play:5 in to the router through TP-Link Powerline adapters:    Currently, I’m using Sonosnet like this. I still get the cut outs. I’ve tried rebooting everything in the right order to fix IP conflicts, I’ve enabled compress

Hi Everyone. I’m hoping someone can help with an annoying issues with my music playback. I use Windows 11 pc and iTunes to play music to all my Sonos Speakers. Previously. No issues streaming to a Play 5, Sub, 4 x ones and 2 x Roams. Perfect playback. Lately I’ve been having drop outs. Only for a second but increasing in frequency lately. I’ve reset all speakers. All updates applied. Put them all on the 2.4ghz band. Disabled the 5ghz band in case it was interfering - made no difference. I’ve tried them with just one speaker at a time in the hope one speaker was interfering with the network. Tried several different channels on the router. Tried the different Sonos Net Channels 1, 6, 11Connected a One to the router to create a Sonos net. That didn’t resolve the issue. Bought a Boost - that didn’t resolve the issue. Bought a new modem / router - that didn’t resolve the issue. Nothing solves the issue. Playing music stored on my phone/iPad plays back perfectly. Tried other windows 11 pc bu

I know you add/authorize Amazon Music as service, but can Sonos differentiate, and or prioritize playing downloaded songs from you Amazon Music library? (My theoretical scenario is if your internet connection speed is slow, can you play your downloaded Ultra HD Amazon Music without buffering or loading?)

HIIs it possible to connect my Mac to Beam Gen 2 via HDMI, if so what settings do I need. RegardsGary

Dbh. We have both S1 and S2 speakers and have both apps, essentially creating 2 systems in our home. I’m fine with that. What I’m not cool with is when I try to get onto my S1 app and it gives me this pop up that you cannot exit out of and blocks my S1 app.  HOW DO I GET THIS TO GO AWAY?! SONOS is not what it was when we got our home system initially and now I can’t even use the majority of it.   (And don’t get me started on the constant random disconnect of our two Roams…!)

bonjour, quelle est la différence entre Sonos Port et Sonos Amp ?

Hi, I love my Sonos Five! I moved from Spotify to Tidal to enjoy a real HiFi experience with my Sonos 5, I even started using Sonos iPhone app instead of Tidal to avoid sound quality loss, but I find the Sonos app a bit clunky. A feature I use a lot is to play a Track’s Radio, because I like discovering new artists/tracks by choosing “Go to Track Radio” on the Tidal app, but in Sonos iPhone app (connected to Tidal) I don’t have that feature. Sonos: When are we going to have that feature on Sonos app? Tidal users really need this! Thanks in advance!!!

We have one move, two paired Sonos One speakers, and two One speakers not paired (different rooms).  they do not seem to be all synchronized, and I am looking for the easiest fix. it seems like some of the speakers are just one beat ahead, or behind the other ones. This is a fairly new thing that’s going on.we play music through Spotify, Apple Music, and tune in radio generally.

How do you add an additional user to an existing Sonos system so they can play their own music library on the system? Sonos System 1 -  I’ve googled and the instructions aren’t correlating with tabs

I posted a question “How to adjust Bass and Treble” and received a reply.I can view the reply but I cannot reply to the reply. To say that I do not see/have the suggested function. Thanks for the help.Ralph

I have a ARC and a BEAM both need tweaking. How do I adjust treble and bass?

Hi I have a arc a sub and 4 Sonos ones. I have the arc under the tv, 2 x ones on the wall either side of the tv and 2x Sonos one’s behind me on the wall. Now I have had to set them up as a group to make all work with the tv but if I turn up and down volume with the tv remote it only controls the arc so I have to use the app to turn up and down tv. Is there a better setup so I can control all from remote .

I have a Sony KD-55AG8 TV connected with my Sonos Beam Gen 2 via the HDMI Arc port. Futher more a have Apple TV 4K (gen 3) connected to my TV via HDMI. The Apple TV sees the Sony TV only as an Dolby Digital 5.1 output device. For example Netflix movies played via the Apple TV only result in Dolby Digital 5.1 sounds being played on the Sonos Beam. If a play the same move on Netflix installed on the TV it self, Dolby Atmos is detected and played as such on the Sonos Beam. What to do to get the apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazone Prime, Apple TV+) on the Apple TV 4 to make use of the Atmos possibility of the Sonos Beam ?Place a AV Dolby Atmos Receiver in the middle (Apple TV → AV Receiver (HDMI In), AV Receiver (HDMI 4K Out) → TV, AV-Receiver (HDMI Arc) → Sonos Beam  ?  Buy New TV with HDMI eArc  Accept what it is.. Or… ? Would love to read your suggestions

Hello. I recently purchased two One SL speakers. They worked great for about a month or so and now one of them works great but if I try to use them both…… it shuts the music on them both off. if I try to use the one in my kitchen solo, works just fine  if I try to use the one in my office, it shuts the music off. so that one seems to be the issue. I can’t figure out what to trouble shoot at this point

I bought an ARC at Xmas to finally get decent sound from the TV.  (Previously I’d used a cheap DAC to input from the TV to my HiFi system.)I’m toying with the idea of adding a SONOS Port to the HiFi so that the kids can link their iPhones/Pads apps to the HiFi as Spotify is great for background music and this will enable access to internet radio.Would such a system also allow me to play the TV/ARC through the HiFi simultaneously and therefore enable me to augment the bass?  If yes, are there any snags/issues that I’d need to consider.  Having a good quality vinyl and CD based HiFi ,coupled with a digital media system, sounds like Nirvana, Nevermind the pan-generational benefits within the family (pun intended!) Can it be achieved or am I being Dagenham (3 stops beyond Barking?)

My play 1s are not connecting I have restarted my router and switched them on and off

Hi, the most recent 14.18 update fixed the subwoofer issue with TruePlay tuning on my setup (Arc+Subx2+Fivex2), but made the rear surround speakers significantly louder than before.Any surround sound dialog sounds like it’s at least double the volume when projected from the rear when compared to the front. Is anyone else running into this problem?

I am rebooting my router 2 x a week minimum to find the speakers.   Never needs an update, just a pos.  Anyone know how to make this more reliable?

Hello, Does anyone know of an update to add 2 sub minis and pair them to the sonos amps for home theater?

Hello, after a few happy weeks without any problems, one of my Sonos One SL speakers was not visible in the sonos app any more and I couldn’t use it. When i bought it, I set it up with wifi, without any problems. The speaker is however working with a lan cable . It is my second Sonos One SL. The first one is 2 rooms away and connected via lan cable. I tried a lot of things, but nothing seems to work:deactivating my 5Ghz wifi and factory reset - re-add I tried to add the speaker new to my system around a dozen times, with any help regarding reboot, factory reset that the sonos app was offering me I run the new “not connected, do you want to solve the problem now” dialog in the sonos app around half a dozen timesI have really no idea what I can do anymore. Running lan cables is unfortunately not an option. Any help is a lot appreciated.
