Every morning I do this to get music going:I add a playlist from my music server to the queue on my Move. Then I add the ‘My Supermix’ playlist from youtube to the same queue.I shuffle the contents, and press play.Is there an easier way to do this? Both playlists are dynamic.Can I create a Sonos playlist that contains a reference to the playlist on my music server, and a reference to the Youtube ‘My Supermix’, so that all I have to do is open that playlist, shuffle it and press play?Thanks!PS - I realize this is an insanely first world problem to be having. In my defense, it’s taken me quite some time to get my environment working this well.David

I've recently purchased a Sonos Arc and installed . I did this by simply connecting the arc to my TV via HDMI arc. The setup is pretty straight forward.  However, after turning the television into standby mode (off), it disconnects from the Sonos arc and I have to reconnect it all over again.There are many users reporting the same issue. SOme people came up some solutions, such as unplug chromcast, changing some settings etc. I have tried everything other people suggested. So far nothing has worked for me, very frustrating. Any suggestions?  I will call technical support tomorrow. If the problem cannot solved,, I will return the product.

My sonos beam audio sticks intermittently

I don't use Apple Music, but I have a lot of songs purchased through iTunes. Can Sonos 2 access my iTunes purchases directly, or am I required to stream from my phone?

I realize I am odd in that I do NOT enjoy using my I phone to control all functions of my two Sonos 5 speakers.  If I receive a phone call, just turning down volume is a pain. If the phone is locked, going through facial recognition or entering a password, then scrolling to find the app just to turn down the volume is ridiculous. I just purchased a Denon AVR.  I did not want the video part, but could not find just audio. My goal is to connect a CD player and use the receiver with my Sonos 5 speakers.  Do I need even more equipment or can I use an RCA and connect a Sonos 5 to one of the INPUT ports (like the one for a turntable) on the receiver?  Obviously none of the speaker ports work with Sonos.I am an old audiophile.  I love the sound of Sonos 5, but want a work around to using my I phone as the remote.

So I'm now fully on S2.But my music service playlists are not showing tracks.So if I search for a Queen playlist for instance, I get a playlist come up with a "synopsis". But S1 had an actual track list....Tried Spotify and Amazon music services.... S1 stuff still shows track list. But not S2.S1 at my Bar S2 at homeS1 you used to double click a playlist or Album and get a track list, thats missing now

Hi there,I recently bought a 2nd hand Beam (gen 1), which is connected to my TV via ARC. Besides an Apple TV, I also use Spotify Connect directly on the Beam and regularly use AirPlay 2 to stream audio from different Apple devices to the Beam. Everything works nicely, but I would like to take it up a notch by adding 2 rears to create a 5.0 surround system (preferably some 2nd hand Play:1s). Once the Play:1s are added as rear speakers, I understand that they will play ambient sounds (in case of stereo sources) or the specific channel signal (in case of Dolby Digital 5.1 sources) when watching TV (signals coming through the ARC connection), right?Also, when I stream music through Spotify Connect right on the Beam (and the music option is set to “full”) they will act as a stereo pair and play the music together with the Beam, right?Now my question is: with both Play:1s set up as rear speakers in the surround system, what happens if I use Airplay 2 to stream music to my Beam? When I watch a movie on the TV I hear a lot of sound from the beam sound bar but the sound from my surround speakers (sonos one) is very weakI send a dts 5.1 signal from my tv to the beamCan we adjust the volume of the speakers independently?Thanks

Request for technical assistance. I have one Sonos Move and I bought a second one for the stereo. I can't set it up because in the S2 app I installed on my Android phone, when I try to sign in to my sonos account it shows me the message 'try again' again and again and doesn't even get to the screen where I enter a username and password. Likewise when I enter the system - add product. It asks to sign in and continues to bring me to the Try again screen again until he exits. recently had to get a new router and now can’t change the router setting on my Play 1. Can’t find the ‘settings’ column on my Sonos 1 Controller app.

HelloI try to make a new Trueplay calibration and it always tell me that there are too much noise, but the room is completely quiet.I have the last update of Sonos and iOS and some months ago it was working fine.Do anybody have the same issue ?Thanks,Thierry

Hello Everyone, I have a 1 month old 65 inch LG OLED C2 TV. Today I upgraded my sound system to a Sonos Arc. I am reasonably HiFi literate but despite trying a myriad of different options recommended on this, and other forums, I cannot get the Sonos Arc to play Atmos sound. It will transmit at Stereo PCM. I have simply connected the TV to the Sonos Arc using the Sonos supplied HDMI cable. The connections are from the HDMI 2 (ARC) port on the TV to the HDMI Port on the Sonos Arc. The TV’s sound output is set to HDMI (ARC). I do receive Atmos sound on the TV (not the Sonos ARC) when I disconnect the Sonos Arc and play an Atmos featured Netflix show using the TV’s speakers. Does anyone have any suggestions or is this simply a bug in the LG software?Thank you,Ross 

Hello , I have purchased a Beam speaker which I intended connecting to a ten year old Phillips tv . Without checking prior to purchase I thought the tv had an optical outlet . Now I find it doesn’t have one , but has a 3.5 digital audio out . My problem is how or can I connect this tv now to the Beam through the HDMI cord ? . I have the optical to HDMI adapter supplied by Sonos , but can’t connect to the 3.5 outlet . I don’t wish to purchase another tv with a hdmi arc connection .Hope somebody maybe able to help . Hi, My beam gen2 works fine on my Samsung tv untill I turn hdmi eARC on. When it's on I get random cut outs. Does anyone know of a fix for this issue?

My parents in their TV room have a Sonos connect:AMP and 2 old school analog speakers to listen to music in that room, but the TV was never connect. I now wanted to buy a SmartTV for them for christmas, as next to smart functionality I thought it would be able to connect to Sonos, yet found on the internet that not every Sonos is connectable. My question now is: is there any way to be able to connect the (not yet bought) smartTV to the sonos connect:AMP, with the 2 analog speakers also being connected? I now the connect:AMP only has one input, yet hope there is a kind of workaround. Please help me out, so I can give my parents a better movie watching experience! BTW they do have a Sonos Five, yet in another room...

In my setup i use Sonos Beam connected to TV through HDMI ARC2x Sonos Five I only play music and are not really intrested in surround for movies.  My issue is:I want to stream video from my iphone to my TV, but still want the sound to go to my Sonos speakers. I’ve tried to put Beam and Sonos Five in a group where the Five’s is surround. Problem is that the sound coming out from the Five’s is very low, because they acting like surround speakers.I want to be able to put Beam at 0, and Five at 100. If i use for example youtube app on smart tv, it works. But i want to be able to choose videos from iPhone or iPad for example when you have friends at home and want to play music videos and send the iPad around for people to search on it.Problem is if i use screen mirroring, the sound will not pass through to sonos, only to my tv-speakers.Will it work any better with ex an Apple TV connected to my TV? Any suggestions?

Hello,Since I could not access my 3 One speakers through the App, I decided to factory reset all speakers and also reset the app.But when I try to add the speakers again, it fails adding the speaker to my account. I have tried logging on to my account through a browser, and I can see all 3 speakers registered.So I guess I get the error in the app, because the speakers are already on my account.What to do? I can’t remove the speakers from my account.

I have stopped using the e-mail account that is linked to my iPhone Sonos mobile app but can’t delete it via the app. There is no option to ‘change’ the account whereas I have been able to, I presume, start a new account with the current e-mail. Can anyone help with this as I can’t add any products to the system as I can’t log in to the mobile app and can’t add products via the Sonos site.I did call the help-line earlier with a 15 minute wait but rang off after 17 minutes.Thanks I’m hoping in advance. 

I have the Sonos play. It has been sat high up on a shelf for years and I have recently come to use it and despite my best attempts, nothing. Can be found! I have always had a wired connection and have followed the app instructions to the letter at least 15 times and still nothing! The light has gone from orange and flashing to solid orange then flashing white and now solid white and yet still undiscovered! Any advice that I haven’t tried yet? Thanks in advance 

Hello, I have been using 2 Play 1 speakers paired in a single room system, using the S1 controller. It has worked for quite a long time. I have recently bought an LG C2 TV and would like to add a beam Gen 2 to the TV for Dolby Atmos and also use it as a separate room in the Sonos system. I have seen lots of questions about configuring Play 1s as surround speakers, I don’t want to do that I want the Beam as a TV speaker and also as SONOS room speaker. I think it is possible if I use the S2 controller - is that correct ? It looks like one option is to have two separate Systems but I would rather have just one if possible.
