Hi.Does anyone have sound issues with the new Sky Stream/Puck and Sonos Arc? I am experiencing the sound dropping for a split second on a regular basis. Sometimes it drops completely and is only resolved by either changing channel or going into standby.  

My google assistant somehow got removed from all of my sonos devices. Attempts to add it back fail (No devices found in the google assistant app). Any advice?

I updated my BT Hub 1 to a BT Hub 2 today. I cannot upgrade the SONOS system to work. I have 4 speakers, 2 x Sonos One set up as Living Room and 2 x Sonos PLAY:1  as Kitchen. I have seen the topic related to connection issues with the BT Smart Hub 2 from April 2021, but have checked the firmware level and it is V0.31.00.10253-BT, so well up from the problematic firmware.I did manage to get the two Sonos One’s set up, but the 2 x PLAY:1’s arent having any of it. The SONOS app only recognises one of the speakers and wont upgrade either.Is it possible to do a clean install? I did remove and reinstall the app, but the config still seems to be present.

Question: Why does the microphone light on my Sonos Move sometimes come on all by itself (and then go off again) when the device is powered off?  Surely if the device is switched off, it should be OFF! The device is setup with the microphone on so that Auto Trueplay can work but no voice assistant is set up or enabled. This seems pretty suspect to me!!  Eavesdropping?! Attached is a photo showing the device powered off yet the microphone light on.  Shortly after taking the photo, without touching the device, the microphone light went out. This is not the first time I have witnessed this behaviour….  Any suggestions / explanations? Many thanks in advance!  

Hello,The alarm function on my port no longer shuts the music off after the chosen duration. Is there something I am missing? Or another way to have sonos only play for a certain period of time? On a daily basis.

I’ve always been under the impression (and it has worked in practice) that I could listen to different music in different rooms using the same Apple Musicsubscription as long as I was on the same network (of course, if someone was at home listening on sonos and I tried to play from that subscription in the car or at work, one of us would get booted).I am now getting the “looks like you’re listening on another device” message when I try to listen to different music in different rooms using Apple Music for the first time in my decade + of sonos ownership.Did something change?

 I’d like to play these through sonos - I am using the sonos last.fm integration.Should I raise a feature request with last.fm? Or is this something that Sonos needs to add somewhere?Thank you.

Can I connect two optical connections (TV and DVD) to playback using an optical switch?

Playbar, Sub, (2) Ones.The sub and surrounds cut out during use, random times, random durations.  Already factory reset and added system again, problem still exists.  OS 14.20.1, speakers & app.   

Hi all,I started renewing my 5.1 system as follows: The AVR Yamaha MusicCast drives as front channels a pair of PROAC Response 3.5 through pre-outs and two Audio Research finals, the central channel always PROAC, the sub and surround Jamo.Now, to simplify use, I thought of replacing the AVR and the central channel with ARC, and the current sub and surround wired with SUB 3th gen and a pair of ONE SLs.Up to here everything works quite well. At this point I bought an AMP with the idea of ​​using it to drive the pair of PROAC 3.5 as front channels but with great surprise and equally disappointment I discover that AMP cannot be integrated with ARC in a 5.1 home theater configuration !!!It seems incredible that this possibility was not foreseen.It would be interesting to understand if the problem is of a hardware nature or simply could be solved with a firmware upgrade.

I’d like to play music from my Arc while watching TV. However, when I do, the Audio from my TV does not switch back to the TV’s speakers and instead I only hear music. Is there a way to have my TV automatically revert back to it’s standard Audio if I’m playing music on my Arc? My Arc is connected to my TV via HDMI ARC. If not, is the solution to purchase another Sonos product, so that I would be able to play music from that device and keep the audio from my TV coming out of my Arc?

Hello,I stayed at an Airbnb a few months ago that had a sonos system available for guests to use. I had no trouble using that system while there. However, since I have been home, I’ve not been able to seamlessly use my own system. I now always get “can’t find your sonos” message when I open my sonos app, and the app always prompts me to find my find my system and then asks me to choose which system I want to update—this Airbnb system or my actual owned system. Can I somehow permanently delete the Airbnb system so that my app is no longer confused?? thanks!

Hi all.  I have just bought the arc and have paired it with 2x sonos 5s. I wondered when using the 5s as surround if placing them to the far right and left of the room to front of room would work as well as placing to the rear of the room.  Does anyone else have this setup please? Many thanks

Hi,I have searched a bit but seems I am the first having this issue.I have 3 Alexa (2 Dot and 1 spot) and 2 Symfonisk-Sonos. I am using Spotify from Android/iOS/PC - the issue is the same.I am able to group alexa speakers and play (cast) to 1-2-3 of them. I am able to play to one sonos speaker at the time. Although I am not able to play to a group including 2 sonos speakers, or sonos speakers and Alexa.I have created a group including 3 alexa and 2 sonos, but can’t see it on Spotify.I have tried to create a Speaker Group (there is a dedicated function in the Alexa app) but in this case I have no chance to add the sonos speakers.Already tried the standard troubleshooting (uninstall all the apps, disable and re enable sonos skill, restart, clear cache etc.When asked, Amazon told me that Sonos speakers are not supposed to be compatible witht he multi-room functionality, although reading on the FAQ on Sonos website it seems the oppositethanks in advance, I hope the issue is clear 

I currently have:Playbar, Sub, Bridge, 3 x Play:5’s (Gen 1) and 2 x Play One SL’s. I am fairly certain I can upgrade the Playbar and Sub to S2 software, but then the 3 x Play:5’s would be on a separate S1 app. Ideally I would be able to use the Playbar, Play One SL’s and Sub for my living room, and the 3 x Play:5 (Gen 1) in separate rooms for music and such. In this situation is the Bridge completely obsolete, or do I still need it for the Play:5’s if in separate rooms?

My Sonos system is working well over my wifi network provided by a Fritz!box 7530 router. I want to use the router as a NAS music server using a USB stick. I’ve followed all the instructions provided by Fritzbox however when I try to add the Shared Music Folder in Sonos I get the message: “The computer fritz.box refused to let Sonos connect”. Using the exact same access path, username and password I can access the library folder directly from my phone via Chrome. Is there a setting somewhere that I’m missing?

Hello, I have now a beam gen2 with a sony bravia tv.I outputting the sound via earc (passtrought). No issue except with my Apple Tv and PS5 : the sound is muffled and not loud enought (LPCM 5.1) :on PS5 when a i play game (pcm priority, av amplifier 5.1) on Apple TV when i play another thing that atmos (ex lcpm 5.1 transcoded by apple , mycanal, netflix,vlc)  It’s just a little bit annoying.   

Sonos, please don't push updates anymore that only serve iphones. I don't know if you are aware but iPhones are an inferior product with less market share than android. We do not need to be wasting our time updating our speakers with an update that only pertains to a lesser platform.  Thank you. Ps - instead, give us updates that actually improve the product instead of catering to a lesser tech savvy group. Such as advanced eq controls, advanced sub crossover frequencies, more options for night and/or voice clarity and sub volumes based on source ie tv vs music.

I own multiple Sonos products. I have three in my  master bedroom. The updates are almost always pushed at 2am and I wake up to practically a disco in my room with flashing colored lights coming from multiple directions. PLEASE provide an option for users to permanently dim or turn off the Sonos flashing status light. I’m tempted to remove these devices from my room!
