So I have a new place with ceiling speakers, with no visible branding on them.I have successfully connected a pair to my Connect:Amp, but I would like to parallel wire another pair, but I don’t know if these are 4 or 8 ohm speakers. If they are 8 I’ll be fine (based on the user manual for the Connect), but if they are 4, what is the worst that could happen? Is it possible to measure such a low impedance with a multimeter?

I have checked other posts that refer to issues with Sonos and LG TVs.I have power cycled both TV and the Beam after updating settings. But inspite of all this, I always get stereo PCM.This is true with multiple apps - Netflix, Apple TV+. I have checked the internet connection which is wired so I dont think bandwidth is the issue here.The same Beam was working with an older model from Samsung (I dont know which model) without requiring any special attention. Is this problem just with me?What are the steps to get this resolved? This was a big bummer for me as I am now regretting getting an LG OLED C2 and should have just gone for Samsung.

I have a new 2022 Sonos Beam surround system (Sonos one LS + RS + Sub mini config ) and the small speakers  (one SL) randomly drop out for 10 seconds. Sometimes it works for a few hours perfectly and sometimes it just drops for 10sec. The Beam keeps working all the time. It is happening on Apple TV(Netflix) and Spotify. (Sonos app) The system is connected to a modern 2021 Router and the speakers are located near the wifi router. Max 4 meters, line of sight.  I have the problem for 2 weeks (since I have the Sonos system). Have updated the App + System to the latest firmware. (14.20.1)Diagnostic nr sonos app = 406553169 

Hello, Yesterday, I got a sonos sub gen3 I have added successfully with my sonos beam and two sonos ones gen 1,after that I realized that the sonos sub is working fine and is shown on the app but the sonos sub gen 3 light is always switched off instead of the rest items of the home theatre, how can I get any colour light on the sonos sub gen 3 added yesterday? Thanks.Regards

 move will not connect to Wi-Fi. Have tried all suggestions when prompted. 

I have a sonos arc and a sonos amp. The amp feeds into a speaker switch selector. Can I adjust the volume downward on the arc while maintaining full volume on the amp? 

It seems to be possible to play to (my) Sonos Setup without beeing physically accessing my WiFi nor being near to my home. So to make clear: I´m sure about that nobody externally is stearing Sonos via SONOS App.What I found out is that If you ever been connected to someones Sonos Speakers with Spotify (e.g. in a friends house and with the permission accessing the Wifi) you are able to play music on this Sonos from any point the world / internet. Is that correct? How could I limit this access to sonos. Or is there a way how to make visible who is playing music actually?

LG C2 with Arc, Tivo, Apple TV and Panasonic Streaming 4K Blu Ray Player with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ Ultra HD Premium Video Playback, Hi-Res Audio, Voice Assist - DP-UB820-K . I would really appreciate some help with setting this up and doing sit correctly the first time. I am pretty much of a novice and would like a diagram of the recommended setup. Thank you.

Hi all, I got a quite strange scenario, my Sonos app on the phone is showing Dolby Digital 5.1 but I get no sound from rear speakers, playing media through Apple TV. Everything is installed correctly with true play calibration. If I force the tv to play stereo PCM, then I can hear sound coming from rear speakers (but it is not true surround as you all know).Anyone got any ideas on what could be the issue here?Appreciate your input. /MM

Hello, I have just purchased a property that has two in ceiling speakers. What do I need to get the speakers working?There are also a set of wires coming from a cupboard nearby which I believe are for the speakers. 

I’m using a Sonos One SL stereo pair with my Apple TV and it works great… until I change to an Apple TV game. Then all of the audio disappears.Does anyone know if it’s possible to use Airplay 2 for Apple TV game audio?

Hi, I have the following setup:Smart TV Samgung Model: QN65Q70TAGCZBSonos ARC + 2 One SLWith the App Tidal on the TV or from the Tidal service in the Sonos App, the sound is not played in Atmos quality, it comes out in dolby 2.0.The TV supports Atmos, since the rest of the Apps (like Netflix, PrimeVideo, etc) the Atmos sound works perfect and is verified in the Sonos App.I have tried everything and I can't figure it out.Any idea?Thank you very much.Regards!

Adding many components to my Sonos system the last 10 years, setting up another at work, my home system no longer works. I have tried many things since it stopped working 2 weeks ago. I can see the bridge plugged into the router, I’ve changed to new Cat 6 cables and alternated ports, rebooted 100 times, followed the Sonos instructions, used the AI support, but just get ‘Unable to connect to Sonos’. I have added permissions per IOS 14. My work system, using the same phone, remains perfect. Still nothing at home. Would so much appreciate ideas on how to fix.

What should I do with Sonos Five gen 1 speakers ?   I purchased new gen speakers and not sure what to do with the old ones 

I have just moved and have a full surround system (Playbar, Sonos One SL, Subs) from my old home that I will set up in my new home theatre room. I have upgraded to an Arc soundbar to replace the Playbar. Do I need to factory reset the Sonos One SLs and Sub as part of setting up the system in the new location with the Arc? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi, looking to build a simple home theatre setup for movies and music. Not necessarily wanting to buy a separate sub. Is it possible and a good enough solution to use just a single Five speaker, horizontally, as rear surround speaker to supplement the Arc soundbar? I’m hoping Arc+Five would get low enough for my purposes as opposed to Arc with Ones. Dual Fives might be too costly for me. Thank You

I work at a school with a sever and APs all over. I have a Sonos 1 in the main office, the lounge, and 2 in the cafe. If I group lounge and main office together they work or just the two in cafe. If I group all 4 together to play they do not work. Is it because they are on different APs (same network)? Is there a way to make this work or no? Also I have it on the student Wi-Fi because it doesn’t require a user name and password. I should have it on staff wifi but it requires username and password and I don’t think you can do that with sonos sadly.

How can I de-link the volume on my sonos speakers from my Regular wired speakers  which I use via Sonos Port?Tks in advance for your help

I’ve got the Sonos Surround Set. Just bought the Samsung QD-OLED, which has eArc.  I am now able to get Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1 etc through Netflix and Disney Plus, etc. However, when I put in some Blu-Rays where I should be getting Dolby or Dolby Atmos, all I’m getting is Stereo PCM. At the moment, my Blu-Ray player (Sony Ultra HD) is connected to the TV via HDMI cable. The Sonos Arc is connected to the TV via another HDMI cable. Am I missing something? I’ve looked at the menu on the Blu-Ray player, and I can’t see any settings that might need changed. Does anyone know how to sort this? 

Can someone please help me concerning connecting my Sons Port to my receiver. I have connected  the port to various “out” possibilities in the receiver. The sound which comes out of the SA=onos One SL speaker is very faint. Can someone please advise me where on which Receiver  “out” I should be plugging the Port to?Big thanks for your assistance

I want to set up second Sonos system in our vacation house, uaing same account. Where could I find a step-by-step guide to do this? And, does Sonos app recognizes aystems accordimg to WiFi I am connected to?

My setup:Playbar Gen 1, Sub Gen 1, 2 Sonos One speakers in my Great Room as Home TheaterNew Amp powering 2 sets of old Analog SpeakersIssue:  When I go from All Speakers playing music and I turn on my TV the Amp keeps playing the music.  I beleive it should turn off when the TV Home Theater is invoked.

I have an existing system comprising of a Playbase, Sub and 2 x Play 5’s (as rears) as a home theater setup. I have just recently bought 2 x Sonos 1’s to add to the system to get a better 5.1 setup (intending to use the Playbase purely as a center speaker and the new Sonos 1’s as front surrounds), however I cannot add the new Sonos 1’s to the existing system.  The app adds the new Sonos 1’s as a new system and does not give me the option to add them to the existing system (only option is to add a second sub). It appears that the Playbase cannot be used purely as a center speaker and I’m guessing that this is because Sonos treats the Playbase as both a center speaker and as front surrounds. Simply put, is it possible to build a Sonos home theater system which comprises of a Playbase (as center speaker), 2 x Sonos 1’s (as front surrounds), a sub, and 2 x Sonos Play 5’s (as rear surrounds)?I would really appreciate your feedback and input. I want Sonos voice control to play BBC Radio 2 on my Beam but each time I ask it to play I say Hey Sonos play radio 2 it plays the wrong channel it plays some Welsh BBC radio not the standard BBC radio 2 Does anyone know how to get Sonos voice control to play BBC radio 2? I have BBC Sounds in my Sonos app and can use Alexa to play but I want to use the new Sonos voice not Alexa please help if anyone knows if this can be done? Thankyou
