crackle and pops with DD+ sonos beam 2

Hi,

owning a sonos beam since 2 weeks, great experience.

btw I experience pops and crackle when my tv send dd+ content, not on PCM.

i have Apple TV 4K 2022, Philips 43pus7303/12, and sonos beam

actually all work in HDMI with ARC, I tried in optical but same thing, and tried also to turn off and unplug my tv, unplug all HDMI, make a raining dance….. without results.

i can only change my setting to PCM stereo to have a clear sound, btw I didn’t purchased a sonos beam for stereo content…..

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

As the issue only occurs with DD+, we’ll leave the cable alone, but if all else fails, please ensure the cable used is the one supplied with the Beam.

If, when unplugging the TV from power, you did not leave it unplugged for at least 2 minutes, please do so - it can make a difference.

Does this only happen with Apple TV content? Do TV apps play DD+ without issue, or is there no difference? If there’s no difference, please try disconnecting your ATV from your TV and test - do the TV apps play properly now?
