Subject says it all, it is ridiculous that we have Google Home products in Japan since many many many years, and there is still no integration with Sonos.Could the Sonos team at least state whether they have the intention to get this working?I don’t think there are legal problems, because you sell Sonos One with Google Assistant, so incorporating is definitely not an issue legal wise.So why don’t you support speakers like the Sonos 5?

When I try to connect to my Sonos system, the circle just keeps spinning around and it just doesn’t connect. It connected yesterday I don’t understand why. Anyone know why? I have several sonos products and it happens with all of them.

why can’t alarm music be selected from sonos favorites??? 

Sonos system was working fine then it wasn’t. I had to unplug hdmi cable to allow tv speakers to work, but all lights on the system were working just no sound.

Hello- I have had an arc+sub for about a year now with LG C1 tv… since I have had it the arc will often not come out of standby and wake up when I turn the tv on… most noticeable in the morning after things have been shut off for the night but it seems somewhat random and intermittent.when this happens, usually the tv will revert back to tv speaker and if I switch back to HDMI arc nothing will happen.Other times, the tv output will stay as HDMI arc but the arc stays in standby as far as I can tell and no sound. If I try to change the volume, the tv shows a volume icon with a line through it like a mute symbol. Also, switching tv sound output to something else and then switching back to HDMI arc does not change anything.  The only way I have found to get sound back is to unplug the arc and replug.  Any ideas what could be going on? very frustrating issue that I have been just putting up with… but i am about ready to just ditch the Sonos. thanks   

I am currently looking to purchase a Sonos 5 speaker for my turntable. I want it to stream most of the time, but I also want it to be ready to play records at a moment's notice without changing the setup. I know it can do both, but I’m not sure if I have to constantly go into the app and select/deselect the "line-in" option every time I switch from streaming to "line-in" and back again? It’s a bit of a deal breaker if it doesn’t know how to handle switching on its own, as I won’t be the only one using the speaker on a regular basis. A much less important question... As I plan for future upgrades, I’m wondering if you can pair a sub-mini to a five (or set of fives) and an Arc at the same time. Not to play at the same time, obviously, but could one sub switch back and forth between the set-up that is used for home theater and the other set-up that is used for playing vinyl?

Hello to everyone, I just got a playbar and connected to the TV and I works great. My problem is that I'm not able to connect to my account from the app. I can connect  well from the website but not from the app, meaning I can't use the services like napster or Spotify. It keeps saying that the email or password is incorrect and I don't understand why. I've tried changing it twice already but I still have the same problem. Any idea why ? Thanks a lot Romain

Hello guys,I tring to make google assistant work on my parents system (on there tv beam gen1 + 2 one sl)We live in Israel but I changed yesterday my account which link to the system to the US and tried with UK also but nothing showing up on the app.Can't add on sonos app, on google home i can link my sonos account.I wanted to purchase the beam 2 for myself but the assistant is make ot or brake it for me.Any idea why after a day it doesn't shows up?

The ‘All Music’ folder tracks on my Synology NAS are in alphabetical order. Today when I tried to play it through my Sonos, the order was no longer alphabetical, more like random. How do I control this?

My wife’s MacBook name has changed since we added her music folder to our Sonos library. So when we tried to play music it was not found.  So I added her new music folder to the Sonos library and removed the old one, and everything appeared to have updated.  However, when trying to play a track from her library we get the same error - it is looking for the track in the old location.  How do you get Sonos to look for the track in the new updated library?? I have upgraded from original Sonos to new generation Sonos 2.  My old system connected to a wi-fi connected hard drive (Western Digital MyBookLive). I am trying to add it to the new system, but am having trouble.  I have the IP address for the hard drive, but the app requires me to enter a file path.  But I cannot figure out what the file path is.  When I enter the description of it as it appears in the settings for the Sonos 1 (which still plays from the hard drive), it says that file doesn’t exist.   Spoke for hours to Sonos tech support, but couldn’t figure it out.  Tried file explorer in Windows, but can’t see it.   At a loss.

Hii have a lg c2 television a arc,sub, and 2 ones for surround.can I only get atmos from the television apps?as there is only one earc port on tv and Sonos arc, I take it I can’t get atmos from Apple TV etc without some kind of splitter?cheers

Hello,I have a Sonos beam and I have all my music stored locally on my computer. Everything is working great. However I wan’t to know the type of file that is currently playing, I am using my phone (s2) app to control and play everything. I have some doubles in say mp3 and flac and would like to know which one I am currently playing. Am i missing something as I can’t see any way to show this information.Thanks in advance

I couldn’t find anything. I keep wondering if I’m searching for the wrong thing – so if my question has been discussed already, I apologize.My setup: I own a LG TV, an Apple TV 4K and a Sonos Ray. I use only the Siri Remote to turn on the TV and use the Apple TV, I never enter LG’s interface.I connected the Sonos Ray through this instruction on Sonos’s site to my TV (the section which says “Optical or optical adapter”)My problem is: When I change the volume, both the Apple TV’s and the Sonos Ray’s status light will “light up”, indicating that volume has in- or decreased. Also, on the TV there is an interface indicator which shows Plus and Minus signs, telling me if volume has de- or increased.But sometimes, when I hold the remote wrong (or the front part is covered by my leg or something), and increase

I purchased a Sonos Beam and two One SLs last week. I noticed that the backlight is not illuminated on the volume up/down and play/pause buttons. I have verified on the Hardware>Touch Controls setting is enabled on all 3 speakers in the Sonos app (iphone). I have also checked that all speakers are up to date with the latest software and rebooted each speaker.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Simple system: We have two Sonos Ones in separate rooms/zones, but the app will only recognize one at a time, not both simultaneously. It used to, just trying to get it back. Same router for both, same Sonos profile and app. Any tips appreciated, thanks. Ferris.  

I purchased a home that has an HTD MCA-66 with CAT5 cables running to every room. I have 6 zones, each with the corresponding HTD wall volume control.The HTD has a 4 pin Phoenix connector AND a corresponding CAT5 connector for each zone.I’d like each speaker pair in each of the 6 zones to operate separately via a Sonos Port (one Port for each Zone).Question: Where am I hooking the RCA from each Sonos Port to? Audio in on the MCA-66? Or do I set it up as a sub zone within each zone? Can I remove and bypass the wall power and volume controls and only use Sonos for everything? Lastly - how can I make the speaker pair in my living room operate as RL and RR for surround with my Sonos Playbar? Do I need a Sonos Amp for that? Or would one of my Sonos Ports suffice?Thank you for your help!

Hi.For some unknown reason my Play 1 and Play 3 are upgraded to S2.And therefore incompatible with my Sonos 1 system.I have tried to follow the downgrade instructions:Factory reset, install S2 app, support->downgrade. App finds the speakers on my network, but when I then confirm to do the downgrade, it fails with the reason “ We couldnt find any Sonos-products on “networkname”, so we cannot configure Play3” Same situation with the Play1.Any ideas?BR,/Lars

Setting up sub, 2x one SL, and beam. I’m able to connect all the devices in the same “room” except the beam. Each time I reset the device and select the same “room” as the other devices it creates its own new room. Why can I not get all the devices set to the same “room”? 

I have a Sonos 5 and two 1’s that operate on the Sonos 1 App.  I just purchased the Arc soundbar.  Are they compatible to play TV and streaming audio?

Hardware/Software:    Windows 11 with all updates installed, S1 controller, Sonos ZP80, Buffalo Linkstation live 1TB NAS Network Profile Type: Private (VPN via high-speed Wi-Fi - No ethernet access to router) Connectivity:              ZP80 connects to my VPN via Wi-Fi and the two ports from the ZP80 run ethernet cables to a desktop mini and NAS I was able to play music from my NAS, with the above connectivity till about Sept/Oct 2022, when a windows 11 update caused the NAS to disappear.  This has now been fixed and I'm once again able to see my ancient 2010 Buffalo Linkstation Live (LS-CHL-V2 series) NAS.  Advanced sharing settings and SMB settings under windows features have all been checked by Sonos and all look fine and I’ve also posted screen grabs below. When I try and add my NAS share in the S1 Controller I get the following error:S1 -> Manage tab -> Music Library Settings -> Add -> Networked device -> Browse and select NAS and share from Network tab -> OK -&g

My setup: ARC + 2 x oneSL (surround.)  My ARC is defined as a Speaker in Alexa.  It is not in the same group as the Echo.When watching TV, if I say ‘Alexa turn on lights’ - it does - and provides audio feedback via Echo speaker.  BUT, then the sound coming from ARC goes and stays very low for ~15 seconds before returning to normal.  If I say ‘Alexa stop’ during this period, the volume pops right back up.  This seems to happen if the music is coming from the Echo as well (though, in this case, saying ‘echo stop’ actually stops the music too.)My Echo is located behind my head, close to me, and it is the one that answers - not the Sonos speaker, when I talk to it.  Alexa audio playback happens, as desired, on the Sonos.Thanks for any and all assistance in fixing this uniquely annoying issue.
