I bought 4 units of white Sonos One SL and had them shipped to Singapore by a forwarder. I received them after 10 days only to be surprised by the colour. I got them in black instead. I am puzzled how a big company like Sonos can make a mistake like this.  Now I’m not sure what my options are. They have an exclusive distributor in Singapore but I do not know if they would do an exchange for Sonos. Any Sonos staff able to advise me? 

I recently moved into an home that has wiring and in ceiling speakers for a multi room audio system. I’d like to be able to stream music to these speakers without going to the cabinet to turn on a receiver, etc. I was thinking a Sonos Amp looked like a good option, but I'm far from a home audio expert so i’m hoping to get recommendations from those that know. Below are the existing components the home has, would a Sonos amp have enough power to play music on both the main floor and the basement speakers? My fear is buying a Sonos amp which isnt cheap and then finding out it doesnt have the necessary power - then I’m stuck. Using the playbar and 2 play1 surrounds with an optical connection. Hisense U6G TV set to Dolby Digital for digital optical audio out. No audio from the surrounds when the TV output is Dolby digital. The Sonos app shows Dolby Digital 5.0 when audio is playing. But nothing from surrounds. When I set the audio to pass through or auto it shows Stereo PCM. And there is some audio from the surrounds but it’s just stereo. Any thoughts?

Hello, Recently (in the last 2 months) the Sonos speakers throughout the house chime out of the blue with “Sorry, there was a glitch. Please try again later!”. This happens even when the speakers are not in use … like in the middle of the night! It seems the frequency of this is increasing. I experienced this issue on both Sonos Play:1 soundbar as well as Sonos S2 speakers. I searched online and noticed lots of people experience this, but there’s no conclusion. I tried removing music services, ensuring everything is up to date, even rebooting the speakers … nothing seems to help!  Please help! The chimes in the middle of the night are very disturbing.

Hi -Successfully imported iTunes library and playlists.  However, it seems that each time I start the playlist, it starts from the beginning.  It does not appear to be maintaining a pointer to the last played song and then pick up from there. 

Hey there, I don’t like to use services like Alexa or google because they exploiting my data. That’s why I would like to use Sonos voice control but it doesn’t work for me yet.I just replaced my Playbar with the arc and activated sonos voice control. Unfortunately no matter what I ask - except the time, it can’t do it. When I ask to just play music I get „Having issues connection to your music provider, please try again later“…  When just use the app all works fine. I also set Apple Music as standard but Sonos can’t handle it. Any ideas?Thanks!

hello!  I have a Samsung television and a xiaomi projector in the same room. Is there an option to connect the two devices to the same Sonos arc?

I want to setup an Atmos home theater (replacing existing setup). But I also have a stereo set of speakers in the kitchen ceiling. I’d like to be able to use these as either/or or simultaneous - for TV and music streaming. To complicate it a bit, I also have an analog turntable that I would like to have multiroom functionality as well.If I use an ARC+SL1s+Sub for HT and add a single AMP to both drive the kitchen speakers AND power the turntable, will that work? Thanks! 

Hi. I am using a pair of KEF Ci160qr Ceiling Speaker on the Sonos Amp. At low volume the sound is good enough. But the sound gets highly distorted at high volume. I have just used the default settings on the Sonos Amp. Can anyone let me know, what the best settings for this combination. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I don’t know for how long this feature has been removed, but it now seems impossible to set an Apple music local radio station (I’m talking about “legacy” radio stations, not the ones from Apple) as an alarm anymore. Radio stations just don’t show up in the “Alarm” menus.I read somewhere about a workaround (adding the radio as a favourite, then it would show up in “My Sonos” section of the alarm menu) but it doesn’t work anymore as radios are simply removed from the “my sonos” list in this particular menu.Sonos support confirmed the regression but was not able to provide a target date for resolution.Any suggestion? I know I could stream from Sonos Radio (which is correctly displayed in the alarm menu btw) but it is buggy (same ad repeating several times each time the alarm is fired up).Thanks!

Hi, I have a Playbase and 2 x Play1 and had them all set up in my home theatre to my (Samsung) TV with surround sound, connected via wifi working great. However my Playbase suddenly stopped being found.  I have tied the following:Connected via LAN cable and it works but it then cannot join the Play1’s for surround sound as they are via wifi and now different network  Playbase simply is not connecting via wifi anymore. Been through all the support steps online without success Both Play1s work together separate without the Playbase but only for music as not connected to the TVNot sure what else to try. As stated it was working and worked great then after just over a week of no use, next time using it wasn’t working. Nothing changed on the wifi network and nothing had been switched off at wall. Was there an update done automatically to Playbase?  Seeking help getting this resolved. Thanks! 

I updated the SONOS S2 App to the latest version 14.20 yesterday and soon after, some settings were disabled. The message says “The version of the app you’re using isn’t compatible with your Sonos system, so some settings have been disabled”. Then for one of the rooms, the icon on the right side for room is now showing a wrench and when clicked, it goes to check for system update. I can’t use that room for anything except for TV and using remote control for volume. Anyone else facing the same problem and how to resolve?  Right now I cant add or remove anyone of the products.  Tags below are products that are in my current system.

Hello,I am having an issue playing Spotify through my Sonos app. I keep getting an error message saying "Unable to play (song) the connection to Spotify was lost." After spending some time searching for a solution online, it became apparent that this is a widespread problem with no definitive solution. Nevertheless, I am determined to find an answer.Additional information:• Diagnostic: 2024196285• Internet connection is stable.• Issue just occured today during playback. Sonos system was installed a few weeks ago, and everything was working fine until today.• Spotify app works fine by itself, and I can play Sonos Radio through the speakers. The issue only seems to be when I try to play Spotify through Sonos.• I have tried powering the Sonos amps off and on. No fix.• I have removed my Spotify account in the Sonos app, and then reconnected it. No fix.• I have tried clearing my queue in the Sonos app. No fix.• I checked for updates on both apps after the problem occured. No update for Spot

I have an Arc SL, two One SLs, and a sub. The arc finiahed the update and works fine. The other three units show as “updating" and has shown this status the past 5 hours. I've removed power from the speakers and re-applied it but it didnt work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no dice. Any suggestions before I get rid of this junk?

I have a simple system, only the arc. Recently, I got the TP-Link ax3000 router and now cannot connect the arc to the network. I'm able to connect to the speaker on my phone, select the 2.4ghz network with Sonos recommended b/g/n mixed signal, but no matter what I do the Sonos is unable to connect to the network, with an error message that seems bugged "there was a problem connecting your Sonos arc to """Wondering what other steps I can take to reconnect the speaker 

Hello,I juste added two sonos one (1xOne and 1xOne SL) as surround speakers to my sonos beam (1st gen).I deactivated the mic on the beam. The One is near the kitchen so I usually use it as a timer or else.When I say Alexa… is ducks the volume on my beam, and so on the TV, which is really annoying for the one using them.Is there any way to prevent it ?

Changed from sky to ee broadband.  Followed procedure to reconnect playbase and got as far as entering the ee password but got :there was a problem connecting to “”tried doing it wireless and ethernet.  Ethernet worked but the sonos is in a different roomALSO - sonos sent me an email to change password but when I entered it I got “wrong email or password”Any ideas

Every year I bring my Sonos Play:3 speakers in off my home deck and winter them in my office by adding them to my “work” system. This year when I try to add a Play:3 to my “Work” system, the Sonos 1 app is making me upgrade to Sonos 2 app (see picture) .  There is no choice about it. The Sonos 1 app forces you to update to the Sonos 2 app. I tried updating to the Sonos 2 app on my iPad. It sees the old “Work” system but will not allow me add any new products to that system. I’m bummed because this is something I’ve done many times without issue previously on the Sonos 1 appI have read about updating in the chats and they say, Devices that are S1 Compatible only will only work on S1 (it’s in the label). Newly designed devices (currently Arc, Five, Sub gen 3) will only work on S2.My equipment (20+ sonos products) is older S1 and I want to continue to use the S1 app to add and subtract speakers from my different Sonos systems.  Is there a workaround?  Thanks.

I currently have an approximately 9 year old sonos bridge with sonos amps hardwired directly to my home speakers.  Can I replace my bridge with a boost without replacing my amps? 

Hi,I’ve tried Sonos voice new in France.Configuration is ok, basic commands work very well on all my Sonos  But when I try a command like « play Dire Straits in kitchen », all my Sonos answers something like this in french « sorry, Sonos can’t connect to your music service » Same thing for Apple Music, Sonos Radio, and Amazon Music.Any idea to resolve the problem ?

I gifted a One to my parents and my dad called to say he can’t successfully add Alexa to his new speaker that he added to his existing sonos system.  I thought “this guy can’t do anything on his own.”  So, I get him on facetime and remove voice assistant from one of my speakers so I can walk him through the process.  I open up my app, click settings, click system, click on Sonos Move (the speaker I chose as the demonstration piece), click Add a Voice Assistant, choose Amazon Alexa, choose Add Amazon Alexa, Choose add Amazon Alexa, click sign in to Amazon, choose get started, choose allow, get a blank screen with a done option in the top left hand corner, it takes me back to the sonos app/system/sonos move AND I am right back where I started.  No Amazon Alexa added.  I have done this 15 times with two different mobile devices and am getting the same outcome.  WTF????  My dad isn’t helpless.  Or, we both are.  Help me!!!!

Current equipment: LG tv ARC output to Sonos Arc. I would like to add a Sonos Port to control/provide input for my Onkyo (works with Sonos) receiver to play in the same room. I am having difficulty finding if this type of set up is possible? I would like to have both the Arc and the Port/Onkyo using the original audio output from the TV (via the arc hdmi) which is how I am currently listening/using the Arc now.
