Sonos (S1) goes offline

My Sonos S1 goes offline a lot. Even when wifi still working fine.  But the worst thing about it is that if I’m listening to an audio file on Audible, for instance, when Sonos goes back online the book goes all the way back to the very BEGINNING of the book. It’s infuriating. Especially as there is no way to know where you were which makes you manually search for it. 


Anyone else experienced this before?

Try temporarily disabling 5GHz on your router and see if that keeps your phone in contact with the speaker. If it does, get a smarter router to fix the issue permanently.
