Hello, I have two Sonos Ones and one Sonos One SL. The two Sonos Ones are setup as a stereo pair. Overall everything works great except one small and infuriating problem. When I open the Sonos app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+) my husbands phone (Samsung Galaxy S22) and my son’s phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+) can no longer connect to any Sonos speakers. They get the message that the phone can’t “find the network”. If we go through the process of getting their phones to find and recognize the Sonos speakers then my phone no longer is connected and I have the same message. We have not changed the wifi network/router recently. The Sonos speaker are all online and work fine. It just seems that if my phone is able to connect my husband and son’s phones can’t and visa versa.  We have checked all the settings on the phones, they have the same app version, same network settings, same wifi network connection, same android OS version, same everything. I have had various home theatre options over the years, starting with a Yamaha standalone amp with Mission speakers and for the last year LG SN11RG with Atmos etc. I very rarely notice any real movement of sound with perhaps the occasional tinkle from the rear speakers. My TV room has a chimney breast with an alcove to the left of the TV, a door to the right, textured ceiling above and an RSJ across the bay window where I  normally sit to watch TV. Am I ever likely to experience moving sound. I have heard Sonos arc in a shop and it sounded great - but in my experience the room has more effect on the perceived surround sound than the speakers. Is there a way of loaning or renting the Sonos Arc to try out and see if its any better than what I have. My existing system sounds excellent specially for films with dolby Atmos but I am guessing a  Sonos arc with a sub would probably sound at least as good. I do not want to purchase the Sonos only to find its not that different to what I already

I’ve recently bought Sonos Beam and I’m very impressed by the Sonos app and its built-in services – super easy for me and my family to start playing some fav radio station or music streaming. Anyway, I have a Homekit-based smart home (incl. Homebridge) with scenes and automations working smoothly together. I was sure I can easily integrate the speaker to this eco-system (since it’s added to Homekit using Airplay 2). But the thing is… it works nicely when playing something with Airplay – at that time I can pause the music easily from HK. But though I cannot integrate the speaker to be paused/stopped using the “Shut off” scene (which turns off all unnecessary devices when I’m leaving home or going to sleep). Basically, if I play something using Sonos app, the Sonos speaker is Home stays as turned off and says “not playing”.Is there any way to easily integrate the Sonos speakers with Homekit in a way that music played through the Sonos app can be paused/stopped? What is wrong with the Sonos app? Almost every time I try to use it I get the “Unable to connect, let’s fix it” error. I haven’t changed the network or the router, all my Sonos products are exactly as they were, nothing has changed. But I’m expected to go through all the setup again, which usually takes about 10 minutes (“This may take 1-2 minutes” ha ha ha). Usually it completes and says it still can’t find the devices, but then I can usually exit the app, go in again and it’s all ok. Sometimes I can open the app on a different device and it’s all working ok. It’s infuriating.My Sonos One is always usable with Alexa, but the Play:1s can only be used via the app, so are effectively out of commission until an app on a device (Android phone or iPad) finds the system again. 

Hi,Using voice commands to start radio stations. Some are working and some that worked before is not. For example TalkSport - when I say play TalkSport speaker responds - playing TalkSport from TuneIN followed by - sorry, I could not play.See in forum that some others have had same problem, but could not see any fix.

Hi I’m looking for some advice on a home cinema set up. I currently have two Sonos One SL speakers. I know these aren’t BT enabled.I don’t have a projector yet, and I’m open to purchasing any sort of ‘bridge’ device from Sonos that I might need but ideally I’d like to use the Sonos One SL speakers with a projector and minimal wiring.The projector will be a distance from the screen and sound, so there’s the problem.Are there projectors that will connect up with Sonos One SL speakers? Or, do I need something to bridge them together? Or, just something totally separate entirely?Newbie to this so any advice in laymans terms much appreciated!

Hi,Yesterday my Spotify just stoped working on my Sonos system.Im having a AMP (black one) and its been working since I set it up.Sonos app is playing the “Sonos playlists” but when I play start play from spotifythere is no sound. I have tried restarted the network, amp etc but nothing helped.Using a TP Link Deco X60Is there anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I have seen a Samsung smart TV which I am about to buy (QE43Q65B) the speaker is poor as I understand it. To avoid additional expense of a soundbar and to improve sound quality I was hoping to connect to one of four Play 1 speakers I already own.Reading boards I can see this may not be as straightforward as hoped, I am happy to to buy the appropriate lead if required but what I don't want is this to become hard work. Just want to turn on the tv and volume work as normal from the remote. No pulling wires out, recalibration, adjusting settings etc.Any help would be most appreciated.

Jeg syntes ikke at det kan være rigtigt at man køber en sonos amp til 5999,- til at kunne sætte sine custom install baghøjttalere til sin sonos arc og så deaktivere den subwoofer udgangen så jeg ikke kan bruge min egen custom bygget subwoofer som er skjult under sofaen, det bør sonos lave om på, eller finde en løsning hvor man kan få både egne baghøjttalere og subwoofer på samme system. jeg elsker sonos systemet og deres lyd, men det virker også som om de begrænser mulighederne for kunderne når nu der er en subwoofer udgang hvorfor så deaktivere den ved brug som forstærker til baghøjttalere. 

I bought the new mini sub for our home theafter setup in the family room. My wife doesn’t like the way commercials boom, and I get it. We have paired 5s in the living room where we listen to music. Can I move the mini sub to this paired set-up?

I use my Sonos Amp for on line music only. Why does the app say the TV will stop playing if I continue.I have never connected it to the TV??????

I use the speakers in two situations and in both cases the only speaker that gives sound is the Beam. My two use cases are:normal TV watching mostly through an Apple TV using the Apple TV to steam my MacBook to the TV When I stream to the TV I don't use the audio from the MacBook and instead use my phone for music and use Airplay to stream Apple Music for background noise. I have some audio books as mp3 in my local library that have a rather big difference in volume between some tracks.In example the third track of the audiobook is noticably more quiet than the second and third. So much, that i need to adjust the volume to listen to it.This problem seems to be only present while listening through the Sonos system. When i play the same files on my windos computer (built in Groove App or VLC) or via various apps on my iPhone the tracks are at a comparable volume to one another.I tried fixing this with MP3Gain program by changing the metadata (REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN Tag) but before my changes this is compareble with the other tracks. When i change the tag and increse the volume to this one track it is indeed louder when i play it in Sonos, but it also gets louder in all other mentiond replay devices/apps too.Does anyone have an idea, why Sonos seems to behave different to all other playback devices/apps and how to fix this?

I have a whole sonos wireless system (sub, surrounds (One SL), beam, move and even boost). It is all wirelessly connected and cannot be connected to my Denon Amp by wires as it is not nearby.I am interested in knowing what sonos device is required or what steps I need to follow in order to be able to connect all my speakers wirelessly to the Denon Amp  Denon AVR S760H).Reason: I want to use a Projector with it and in order to be able to use playstation, blueray and other devices, I need the amp.PLEASE HELP ME.

Hello all, I have been encountering an issue with the sound skipping or cutting in and out randomly when watching streaming TV. I have a new Epson smart projector with an 8k capable hdmi cable connected to the HDMI ARC from the projector to the Sonos Arc. I have Wi-Fi extenders meshed throughout my home. I just purchased my Sonos sound bar and Sub 3 weeks ago. All of my equipment is new and has up to date firmware. I tested the projector and it performed fine when it uses its built in speaker but starts skipping when I connect the Sonos sound bar. Has anyone experienced this? If so how was it fixed? What’s going on between Sonos and Apple?I am once again unable to update the Sonos app on my MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.1. Sonos says an update is available, but when I try I get an “unable to update, try again later” window. This first happened about a month ago, and I was able to update by downloading Version 14.19 from Sonos. Now the problem seems to exist again.Yesterday, when grappling with this, I received another notification from Sonos that I was no longer connected to Apple Music. This also happened about a month ago. I know that dialogue issues with Arc have been discussed a lot, but I am still at an impasse. The latest updates did help a lot with dialogue on my Arc + Sub (3), but when using Atmos through my Apple TV 4K, dialogue levels are still very low. I have Speech Enhancement engaged, and typically have “Reduce Loud Sounds” engaged on the Apple TV. When I turn off Atmos in Apple TV, and revert to 5.1, the issue resolves itself. Does anyone have suggestions on what to try to resolve this using Atmos? I feel like I’ve tried every combination to make this usable. I have performed Trueplay after the latest update. 

I upgraded to S2. I have a new ARC and a Move that play fine. But the system becomes unstable when I power up my Play1 and Connect:Amp. How to solve this problem?Likely causes to check out?

Hi,I have Sonos Beam Gen 1 in my household connected via wifi. The product has worked fine for a long time but suddenly I lost the ability to connect to it without any clear reason. There were no changes in the network, the connection just stopped working. I can reconnect to the Beam with bluetooth and reset the wifi password but after setting everything up, the Sonos application fails to connect to Beam device. This happend on both Sonos (iPhone v 14.20) and Sonos S1 applications. I have tried following things without success:Try to discover Sonos devices in the network (Sonos apps) Try to fix Sonos connection (Sonos apps) Reconfigure Sonos connection to the wifi (bluetooth) Try different iPhone to connect to Sonos Try to change wifi password Try to connect Sonos with LAN cable Reset Sonos Beam Try everything above again Remove Sonos application and try everything again after reinstallationFollowing things have been checked:Sonos and iPhone are wifi connected and in the same network B

Hi, I have a Sonos system set up throughout my home  and have had no issues the entire time I’ve had it but over the last couple of months have been experiencing some really annoying issues with it. I have updated all the system and app. I have had the broadband, router and wifi checked and tested and all working fine.The issue I’m having is massive lagging of sound when connecting multiple speakers, literally 5-10 second delay of all eventually syncing to be all on at once then randomly odd speakers dropping completely out then re connecting.I’m also experiencing if I have a playlist playing and leave it to go to next track the sound is fine but if I want to skip to the next track midway through a track everything drops out, some speakers continue to play the track I’m trying to skip whilst others start to play the next track (again all out of sync) eventually all catching up. Everything has been running through wifi and I’ve also tried connecting one or two via Ethernet to eliminate

I have SVC and Alexa enabled on my Arc, not Google Assistant.  I do have a google home in the room as well and if I say “Hey, Google” or “OK, Google” the Arc will lower the volume. The volume does not go back on its own.  Removing SVC didn’t fix this. Is there a fix for this?

Tidal: random airplay disconnections, deezer: unable to cast from the app itself… why in 2023, the only app who really works well with sonos is Spotify? 👎
