I have an Arc and a pair of Fives in the same room. I use the Arc for the TV and the Fives for music (the Arc and Fives aren’t paired with each other and i don’t use them at the same time for TV or music).Question: Could I pair the Sub Mini with the Arc so that I get the bass when watching TV and also pair with the Fives for listening to music?

Can I use the Line In on a Sonos Port to send the rear surround L/R signal from my AVR (which has pre-outs for all channels) to a Sonos Amp wired to in-ceiling speakers behind my viewing area?  For context: I’m moving to a condo that is pre-wired for for in-ceiling speakers in areas that have a drop ceiling (including an area behind the living room which does NOT have a drop ceiling and cannot be wired for in-ceiling or in-wall speakers). The pre-wiring all runs to a utility closet in the back of the condo. I’ll be powering the in-ceiling speakers in the condo with Sonos Amps that’ll live in the utility closet. I’m also setting up my “HT” in the living room which will include a Marantz AVR wired to the LRC speakers, the LR surround speakers as well as the subwoofer.  I cannot run wires from the AVR to the in-ceiling speakers or back to the utility closet unfortunately.  It’d be great if I could run RCA cables out of the rear channel pre-outs on my Marantz AVR into a Sonos Port located

Hi everyone,I'd like some advice on how best to connect two Play 5 (gen1) as a stereo pair in our garden house.This garden house has an Access Point (connected to our router via WLAN in our main house) that allows WLAN connection and wifi connection.Do I need to connect both speakers via a WLAN cable or can one speaker function as a router for the other speaker? What should I then do with the wifi on each speaker? 

Sonos devices not accepting selected music choice. Plays random tracks instead. 

Hi.I have a pair of play 5 2nd gen speakers and I seem to notice one speaker sounds more vocal than the other.The other sounds duller less treble.Im on Amazon music with ultra hd.Done all the trueplay etc.Is it normal? Atmos or something.Thanks

Hi there,I hope that will be clear at all. I’ve have some delay issue using a turntable connected to a Phono port In to an old Pioneer amplifier.This amplifier has it’s own analogic port to a copule of passive speakers. And the music is flowing nicely.I’ve connected also a Sonos Port to the Out port of this amplifier, because I’d like to play my vinyl trough my house, since I’ve a couple of Sonos ONE and one Sonos Beam.The setup is working correctly, but I have some milliseconds of delay when I want to play across the all speakers at the same time, between my “analogic” room where I have the amplifier and the passive speakers, and the digital rooms.This problem doesn’t not exists if I’m playing Spotify or other 3rd party digital services. My configuration is working like this:Pioneer amplifier Phono In: Turnatable CD IN: CD player Tuner IN: Sonos Port OUT Adapt / Tape 2 OUT: Sonos Port In Sonos Port In → To Adapt / Tape 2 OUT Out → To Tuner In System configuration: Sonos Port Li

I’m looking for a consolidated tutorial, or instructions for setting up a network music library accessible by Sonos devices.  Something that will at least cover the basic requirements, system compatibility, etc.I know this is a wide open topic, and dependent on OS and hardware, but I find myself starting from scratch, searching through other’s mistakes and questions, trying to solve problems that should be basic knowledge.

Do I need to Uninstall the app then re install? 

I am using the Sonos app on my Ipad. When I try to access my Queue, it says “Not in Use”. I can’t seem to find a way to get access to the Queue, Any suggestions?

Hope someone can help - none of the other similar topics seemed to work for me.i have a play3 fully up to date and working fine through clunky S2 app. Purchased a oneSL for the next room, specifically so I could group them and play to both simultaneously via airplay. The One also works fine on its own via airplay.I can enable the “group non-airplay products” slider, but playback still only comes from the One. Note: in the Airplay selection menu on iOS, I don’t see any different group to choose for playback (should I?). It just says Dining Room, just like it does when the grouping option is disabled.i removed my 5ghz network so both are on the same 2.4 ssid. Both units are well within range of the router; extremely doubtful this is a network issue.And so I’m out of things to try at this point. Any suggestions would be welcome.thanks! 

Is there a way to create a playlist from your PC?I can do it from my android app ok on my phone but not on my PC which is weird

New issue with the Sonos system today which is confusing me. Initially the system didn’t show in the app, so switched off the boost and disconnected from router. Switched back on and reconnected. The system then showed in app, set to play music from Apple Music. Music played on roam but not on my one even though it said it was playing in app. Went through the usual routine of switching off and on the effected “One”. Started playing - great but then tried to widen the group and each time same thing, showed in app as playing but no audio, switched off and on and unit starting playing. Played for a while and then dropped out - same issue system is boost, beam, 4 ones and a roam all running on S2 app latest version with 14.2 firmware on all units.  any ideas?? Bug in firmware??  as system played perfectly up until today.. 

One of my Sonos One speakers came unplugged and when I plugged it back in it no longer is paired. What do I do to get it paired with the other speaker again?

What’s the firmware needed run existing products on S2

Hi all, I am new to the Sonos community, and I’m hoping you can help me understand what I’m doing wrong. I recently purchased a Beam (Gen 2) and Sub Mini. Something I was looking forward to was Dolby Atmos, however my experience has been inconsistent. When I first setup the Beam, I played the intro sequence to Top Gun Maverick, and the Sonos app was correctly reporting Atmos (and it sounded great). After bouncing around several apps, including watching content without Atmos support, I’m having a hard time getting the Beam to resume Atmos when it’s available. For example, when attempting to watch Andor on Disney+, the output was labeled as Dolby Digital 5.1, when the content is labeled as having Dolby Atmos. The only way that I’ve been able to get the Beam to resume Atmos is to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable from the TV. Considering that I have gotten Atmos, I’m sure that the hardware itself isn’t the issue. I’m hopeful that this is a setting or other configuration issue somewh

I have an ARC, 2 Sonos 1’s and a sub. Everything was working well until I turned my TV on the other morning. My Arc is not being recognized by the system. I have run the tests through the app and it does not connect. I tried a different HDMI cable and also went to another TV but it still doesn’t work. I can play music though the app as well as Spitify, but I can’t get my TV to see the ARC.  I am connected to the ARC HDMI port on the TV. Any Ideas?

Is there a way to change the order of songs in spotify playlists as they appear in the sonos app?I’d like the newest added to appear at the top.I’ve seen similar requests on this community forum where the response has been to pass the feedback / request onto the development team. But those posts seem to be from 4 or 5 years ago.Any progress made on making this option available which I just can’t find?Cheers!

re System 2 AMP why do both my speakers play nothing when I select dual mono mode, but both play in stereo 

Help please:I’ve just purchased a Beam Gen1 so I can finally use some Play 1s as home theatre setup, Beam and play1s are set up and playing music nicely in the room.I have now placed an Amazon Basics Audio Extractor between MacBook and BenQ W2000 projector and then the Sonos Optic to HDMI adaptor connected to the Optic port of the Audio Extractor, HDMI cable then runs to to the Beam mounted above the projected screen. However the sound still goes to the projector instead of the Beam. Hey guys,While I have Sonos Beam gen2 connected with LG via HDMI (eARC) I can’t select any other output device e.g. bluetooth headphones. I can technically select it in TV menu for like 5 seconds, and then output switched back to HDMI (eARC). Is it a bug or feature? Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am operating a Sonos S1 system with 10 speakers in 8 rooms. The music plays in party mode (i.e., all rooms connected). Everything works fine. I now added a turntable through the line-in of a Play5 (gen 1). Mostly, this works fine. However, often the sync between the rooms breaks down and the music only play on the two speakers and a bass booster that are connected to one pair in the room, in which the turntable is connected to one of the speaker. After a while, the other rooms pick up the music signal, but then loose it again.I wonder whether it is too much bandwidth for the Play5 to simultaneously SEND a signal from the turntable to the system and to RECEIVE a signal from the system. Would the set-up be more stable if I were to purchase a Sonos Port and feed the turntable signal into the system with it (obviously, I would prefer not having to do that, as it involves extra cost)? Is there a way to stabilize my system so that playing music coming from a turntable in multi-room m

Within Sonos 2 application, one can create groups of speakers or groups of rooms playing the same music, and give them a name. But once created, you cannot “modify” them. All you can do is create new groups with the + button, but why can’t we modify them, once created ? Thanks for assistance.
