Hi I have the Sonos Arc and The Sonos Sub Gen 3 and an old Sonos One A100 Model S13 speaker.If I were to purchase another Sonos One A100 speaker could I use them as surrounds or do I need a newer Sonos One model?Regards Alan

Had to reset the system, because the music kept stopping av skipping to the next song. After this, I get a notification telling me “to stop the service will disturb play notifications” (My translation). I have tried to uninstall the app, update and everything, but the notification keeps coming up everytime I play something. The only way to remove it is to not have notifications at all, but then I can’t play/pause and skip song without going into the app … Any ideas? 

I have 2no play1's and a sonos 1, using s2 app on andriod. I have a Spotify premium account.  How can I play different songs in different rooms? Any help gratefully received. 

Hi I’ve just bought a Sonos beam gen 2 and I have some compatibility issue with audio format. My setup is a Samsung h7000 (2014), an Apple TV 4K and a Sonos beam gen 2. The beam is connected with the HDMI Arc port on the tv. The problem is that when playing movies from the Apple TV I only get PCM and DTS neo 2:5 as option in the Samsung audio menu. If is use internal tv app I also get Dolby 5.1. The Sonos app report the format correctly as selected in the TV) Things change if I use the audio encode option on the Apple TV. If I choose to encode audio to Dolby 5.1 I get the option Dolby 5.1 also on the TV, but I get no audio, just silence. What’s happening here? Could change something if I connect the beam with the optical audio on the TV? I’m not trying to get Dolby Atmos, just Dolby 5.1

Afternoon all.I lost a couple of subs off my configuration a few weeks back. Odd and not something I recall happening for me before.My guess it might have been around the same time as having a few difficulties pairing up a couple of Sonos Ones and an ARC …. now resolved.Hoping someone could point me towards the procedure to reset and re-add the subs if someone would be kind enough to do that.The Subs are RJ45 connected and are run in conjunction with room based Amp’s and ceiling speakers. I don’t think there is any HW issue or NW issues, I suspect it is an unfortunate by-product of the new setup.Thanks in advance

Sonos speakers blaring in the middle of the night over the Weekend. Spotify is disconnected. Is there any other way that people could connect to the system and play really loud music? Or are the speakers turning up themselves? Thanks!

I need advice regarding connecting a cd player to my sonos five! What would be my best option to do this? What sort of cd players should I be looking for or avoiding?? 

connecting to sonos move for the first time. using the sonos app and it`s requesting a 8 digit PIN that should be found on the backside of my speaker but it´s nothing there. what should I do to process further?

Hello all,I’m a lighting designer, and occasionally I do a/v network installs as an ancillary service.  I recently got stung by building out a whole home audio system with Amps/architectural speakers with a few rooms paired with Sub gen3’s.  The Amps were rackmount and wired to the network switch in an a/v closet FAR away from the rooms where the passive in-ceiling speakers and Sub were located.  Sonos led me to believe that as long as I had healthy wifi in a room with a Sub, it could connect (via the local AP) to the Amp in the network closet no problem.  I learned post install that this does not work as there is no network wifi connection for the Sub as it’s a proprietary Amp to Sub 5ghz connection.  I’m still navigating a reasonable solution to that issue with the client and Sonos.   My question is related to ensuring that any new installs are bullet proof.  Can someone 100% confirm that if I have an AMP set up far away (outside the bounds of the wireless 5ghz connection) from a Sub

My play 3 keeps dropping out. It is near my router but drops out constantly. It does not disappear from the controller 

Why does my Sonos on Windows closes when I close my laptop? I need Sonos Windows to stay open in order to use my iPhone/iPad as controllers for My Music. I can’t play anything from My Music until I go back into my laptop to open the Sonos App. This can be annoying.

Hello.. I just got Sonos Arc and one SL for surround speakers, I already follow all recommendation, restart router, turn off arc, change to cable. I put all arc and one sl into static ip, restart router, but the sl can’t be added to surround system.Thank you for any comment.  

Recently purchased the sonos arc - disappointed to find out i need to purchase multiple gadgets to make the arc work with my xaomi projector, and run a long cable. So now I'm thinking to upgrade projector. Does anyone have recommendations for projectors with eArc connection (to avoid the extra hdmi matrix)Upward projector (to avoid the long cable)Android OS preferable  Does this even exist? Really grateful for any advice     

In the past few weeks the Sonos App on Android (Google Pixel 6) has started popping up ads on my mobile, but only when using Tunein as a music source.  Does anyone know if this can be blocked with a firewall like PfSense?

I used my Sonos Move at a friend’s house but now cannot reconnect it to my system. The orange light comes on, it searches and finds it, says setting up your device, then tells me to connect to the Move’s wifi. I do this, whereupon it tells me to connect with a cable to my router. The Move does not have an ethernet port, so how can I do that?!! I have tried rebooting a couple of times and it works with bluetooth.

I’ve tried several time to reset our Playbar and the white light just comes on solid every time.  I’ve tried plugging it in with the pause button held, pause and volume up and no reset.  We could not see it in the S2 app, yet our other controllers work fine.  I tried removing the ethernet cable, then removing the optical connection, yet nothing seems to allow a factory reset to be performed.  Does this mean the Playbar is bad?

I think the title said it all.  I barely can get a signal for my CR200 remote and wonder if there’s some way of strengthen it.  Boost?  I have an Orbi mesh network and that does nothing which makes me think the signal for the remote comes from a Sonos component (not close enough) which makes me wonder about the Boost. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Do I connect the Ray to my tv or thru my stereo component?

When I sign in to my account on the Sonos website and go to System, the list contains products I no longer own, like an old Play 5.  The Play 5 was actually recycled.  I did not deregister it before that.  But there doesn’t seem to be any way to get it off the list.  I know it doesn’t do any harm for it to be there.  I would just like to clean things up.  Thanks.

Hi allAfter reading all the wonderful reviews (what hi-fi) about how good sonos products are. I purchased a Beam 2 sound bar. Only after installation do i now find out it will only play in PCM stereo mode and not Dolby 5.1 or the holy grail Atmos. Due to TV HDMI technological drawbacks. Like a majority of people i have a smart TV, Panasonic Viera, Sky Q HD, Fire TV stick, Netflix etc. I’m not going to replace a perfectly good TV just to get better sound. Had i know this before purchase i probably wouldn’t have bothered. How do i get proper Dolby digital sound from my sound bar while still being able to control the sound with one remote not the phone app. I’ve read about HDMI switches but I’m unsure how they work and why i need one. My TV has 2x HDMI + 1x HDMI ARC not eARC as I’ve now found out is needed in order for it to work properly. Many Thanks moonbeam

Can an amp, with speakers connected, be used for both TV surround sound and music? I have installed a Sonos system in a home. There are 11 Sonos amps for music in several rooms/spaces, 3 Arc soundbars and 3 Subs (for the three TV-viewing areas). I’d like to set up the system to play music on the Amps when the TV’s aren’t on, but then switch them to TV sound when the TV’s are turned on. It seems this is possible, but I am not having any luck trying to set it up. Can someone offer assistance, please?

Hi I am having issues re setting up my Sonos beam gen 1 to my system. Have done absolutely everything you can possibly Imagine. Works with Ethernet cable no issues. Have done numerous resets.Connected as new device. Finds it and process done as per other Sonos products. But nothing. It has sometimes said that my unit has been installed and may not appear on my system list but would need to disconnect and connect in order for it to appear in my system but nothing. Any ideas? Used to work just fine……….

I have all these but tidal only outputting in stereo pcm.even albums that should report DA are missing the master recording symbol in tidal.i have an almost exactly the same setup with a beam gen 2 and nvidia shield in place of the sonos arc and apple 4K tv 2022 and everything is fine.any ideas?all help appreciated

hola buenos dias, la verdad que ya no encuentro manera de como conectar la barra sonos arc con la app de sonos para que me funcione con el sonos sub. ya conecte con la app de sonos la sonos sub pero para que funcione debe estar conectada con la barra sonos ARC, y esta ultima no me deja la app agregarla me sale un error del router al final de la instalacion ya lo intente con un cable ethernet y la verdad no he tenido resultados, estoy desesperado porque he intentado varias maneras y nada aun, seria alguien tan amable de ayudarme porfavor. o si hay alguna manera de que funcionen ambas sin usar la app de sonos seria posible?

My system is controlled with the Fire Cube. I just purchased the Gen2 / Sub Mini. When the system is turned on does the sub automatically turn on and connect also?
