Why is user behaviour for Sonos Radio not configurable?I do not want Sonos radio first in the result list when searching for music.This is so very annoying, especially as it seems to be an intentionally marketing decision rather than a technical issue.Best regardsTomas

Hi, I have about 200.000 music tracks stored on my Synology NAS.I've read that the limit of files for each library is 65.000 so a created 7 different libraries with about 30-40.000 tracks in each.The system completed the index for the 2 first libraries but don't go further.How can I solve this issue? Or is the TOTAL files limited to 65.000 for ALL the libraries together?Thank you very much for your help! 

I have had one heck of a time trying to get a family Sonos setup working. There are five people in my house, and my goal is to have each person’s Spotify account tied to their voice using Google’s Voice Match.This works well with the Google Home Mini devices in my Google Household. I have also (after many, many times trying to reconnect) been able to get two voices linked to my new Sonos system. However, when adding the third person I get the following error:Can’t add devicesAsk the person who set up these devices to add you to this home in the Google Home app. Check that you’re linking a consumer Google account and not a Google Workspace account. I can confirm that this person is added to the home in the Google Home app, and I can confirm that this is a consumer account. The only other instance of this error message I can find on the entire internet is this thread on the Sonos forum which leads me to believe this is a Sonos issue.Please, please help. When I watch television using internal apps on my Sony A80J, the audio on the Sonos Arc sounds fine. The volume gets loud at 12-16. When I’m watching stuff on my Apple TV 4K, the audio on the Sonos seems to be lower in volume. An example would be when I watch Moon Knight on Disney+ on the ATV4K. I have to put the Sonos volume up to 40 to hear things. Why’s it do this?

I am putting together a 5.1 surround system using Arc SL, Sonos One’s, and subwoofer.  Since the One’s have microphones but the Arc SL does not, I understand that I can still use voice control--via Sonos voice, Alexa, or others.  Is this correct?  In other words, do I not need the Arc?  I am not sure how to set this up. Also, how do I configure separate Sonos configurations?  I want one for home theater (the 5.1 config mentioned above, and 4 other One’s for music throughout the house.

I had a Sonos Arc+Sub system in family room that was working pretty good (wifi connection). Since I liked the experience, I went ahead and bought 2 Sonos One and a Sonos Move for different areas of the house. I successfully added each to the App (all wifi Connections) and thats when the issue started. I now either see the room that has Arc or the room that has Sonos One. It seems to be random which one is displayed but I am not seeing all of them at the same time.The Wifi system in our house is LinkSys Velop Mesh system. I tried different things including wiring the Arc to the router and wiring the Sonos One to one of the Velop nodes. Still the same issue. I also tried restarting the router but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem. Any ideas? 

I just bought a pair of one sl to go along with my existing beam. The beam is already set up for the tv, and i would like to use the two sl’s as surrounds. But, my priority is music, and a really want to have stereo sound for music. is it possible to do both? Seems like that’s not an unusual situation. I’veread other articles here and it seems like you can’t. That would be extremely disappointing. Has anyone found a way to figure this out?please help thanks!

I have owned a Sonos system for 5 years.  Never had a problem before today. My speakers are not connecting to Wifi and the app, as far as I can tell, does not let me change network settings unless it “invites” me to do so.  I have tried 10 times and failed to trigger the “learn more” message.  I attempted to just treat it as a new system setup, but nope, that won’t do the trick either.  After not finding my speaker it keeps prompting to try again.  I am stuck in a loop. Yes I updated my app.  Yes I updated my app permissions.  Yes I have power cycled my speakers.  Yes I have power cycled my Wifi. Yes I have tried on each speaker.  Yes I have moved the speaker.Anybody have any ideas?

I created a Sonos Playlist from some of my Amazon music last year.  When I go to play it, it skips tracks and there is a pop-up saying my Amazon account isn't authorized.  I reauthorize and play something else for a while.  When I go back later, 10 or 15 minutes,  same problem.  So I do the whole routine until I give up.  That is like 5 or more times.  I've had enough.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  

I recently bought a 2nd gen play 3 which is set up on the s2 app. I just today bought a 1st gen play 1 and play 3. They came with the little bridge item too. Is there a way i can connect all 3 of these items together and how. I’m struggling to even add the two 1st gen items to the s2 app setup I have with the 2nd gen play 3 right now!! Hiive got a pair of Fives for music listening and have purchased an Arc and sub for tv in the same room. Just a question - if I wanted to move the sub between the two setups each time I use them would I need to redo Trueplay, or does it hold onto that tuning?Thanks  

I have an Amp since a year and have been able to run it without problems. Last week I got 2 Sonos One and a Sonos Move and tried to add them to the system. The problem is that the new speakers ended up in a new system and the amp is in it’s own. I cannot choose which of the systems that I control with the app. It seems though as it depends on which of my mesh devices my phone is connected to but not sure about it. I cannot add the missing devices in either system as they will not be discovered. I can see that my amp is connected to my network over the 2,4Ghz band and the other speakers are on the 5Ghz band. Although strange, it seems that this may be the cause of the problem.Does anyone know how to combine my devices into one system?

I am trying to add a Ray onto an existing system that has a combination of old and new Sonos products.I have a Play 5 (Gen 1) and a Play 5 (Gen 2) and a Sonos One.  So far with my existing kit, I have been able to use the Sonos S1 app to control them all and it’s been fine.Trying to add the new Ray onto the system and the Sonos S1 app says the Ray is not compatible and I have to use the new Sonos app… but if I use the new Sonos app, it says I won’t be able to use my existing Play 5 (Gen 1).I don’t want to have to get rid of my Gen 1, nor do I want to do the Sonos upgrade.How can I make the Ray work?

Can I connect a Sonos 1 gen 2 speaker with a Sonos move

I moved from a different country and computer with my Sonos devices. Therefore I had to move my music folders to a different relative location.I deleted the old folders from my Music Library in Sonos. Then I added the new folder locations back in Sonos Music Library. Now I can see and use playlists on my MacBook app, but not on the iPhone.

I have my Sonos ARC connected to my Roon software as an endpoint. For a reason unknown to me, the TV the soundbar is connected to does not show up in my Roon system as a display (I assume it is Cromecast), yet my other apps (ones with the casting logo) work just fine. Is there something in the Sonos system that is denying the Chromecast connection? Or is it something else? Thanks!

Hallo i’ve a couple on Sonos One (one and one sl). If i’am not wrong buying a Ray let me allow to stream sounds from pc (youtube, games etc).This Ray will also enhance my music listening experience or won’t add any enhancement?is there any other product that will really improve the listening experience in my room and let me also connect the PC?Or the best would be buying sub mini for the two ones and a dedicated one amp for pc?

Sonos app 1 play 5 stops working after 20 - 30 seconds when I unplug it reconnect to the network and work again but stops all other speakersworking. I have to re locate the playlist and start again but it drops after another 30 seconds any Q? tks adv

I used to control my Sonos system in the UK with Alexa. Now I have moved to Spain, I tried to enable the Sonos Alexa skill but it tells me it is not available in my region.  Most posts I am reading here at over 4year old - is it still not available? How weird, Wi-Fi in Spain is the same as in the UK. Any solution? 

Good morning. New to this forum.I have purchased a Beam 2 and hooked it up to my Sony Xr55a90j Works fine but with HD terrestrial channels e.g. itv, c4 and bbc HD because the sound format is different to standard def the volume is quieter. For normal about 30 works for me but change to an HD channel and have to increase to 40 at least.Is there any way round this?Also is there any way to power save the beam off. Ideally would be nice to switch it off and on with the Sony remoteThanks

My Sonos One speaker fails when updating. Its a 2019 Gen 2 model. the unit has a wired connection to home router, and definitely has internet access since Alexa voice assistant is working ok. It stopped playing spotify song requests recently. So I opened the Sonos S2 App and it wont let me do anything except apply the latest update. The update gets to final stage and then fails with an Error code 6  I followed all the troubleshooting hints from Sonos support article regarding error updating :1. Set static IP 2. Rebooted my router and fiber modem (I have a TP-Link Home Mesh router system )3. I have powered the unit off/on  multiple times.(https://en.community.sonos.com/speakers-229128/code-error-6-6877525) I have tried several times to do the update, but it fails every time. Have successfully done updates before, I never had an issue.  Any suggestions how this can be resolved ? See attached images.     

I have had two Sonos Play 1 speakers for maybe four years old in my office, synced and playing together for a long time. Today, all of the sudden one of the speakers was off-line and I cannot seem to get it to connect again - it is the strangest thing. I have pressed all the different reset button configurations, I have plugged it into the Ethernet, I have put it right next to the router, I have let it sit unplugged for three hours, I have restarted my phone, nothing seems to be working. Any ideas??
