My play 1 speaker is dead , no light … I have tried to reset it … nothing happens and it’s not the cable either , what could it be ? 

Could be a hardware failure. I’d recommend that you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
