I received my Sonos Amp and I plugged my turntable and a TCL TV (via HDMI ARC). I have no problem listening to music but not with TV. I syncronized TV in the app and it seems everything was ok, but It doesn´t sound. Anybody has had teh same problem?

Hi @jltapia

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Please ensure your TV is set to output Dolby Digital, or Auto. Dolby Digital +, for example, will not work. The setting is usually called Digital Audio Output Format, or similar.

I hope this helps.

Is HDMI-CEC turned on in the TV?

I entered in the TV configuration menu and turned on this option but the problem wasn’t solved. I tried with a different TV (Samsung) and everithing worked fine.

I imagine that there’s something wrong with my TCL TV becuase it recognize the AMP but still doesn’t sound

Do you need to set a setting in your TV to use HDMI out?

What output format is the TV set to use?

yes indeed, my Tv has a HDMI ARC port and in settings I checked it was turned on to be used as sound output
