How do I use my new Sonos ARC without updating? Seems the updates are ruining them, according to owners.

Not sure if this is the best forum spot to ask and get good answers.

Sorry my first day as a ARC owner, or any Sonos product.

Trying to setup and use my new ARC.

My apple XS max is telling me I must update to use the ARC.

Thinking it would be better to use with a old Sonos operating system.

Is there a way to go back to old firmware?

All helpful tips are welcome!

You cannot go back, you must upgrade to the latest in order to install.  But fear not, the update which caused the problem has long been fixed.
