Hi I see similar questions answered here and here but just wanted to double check.We have a living room with at tv and arc sound bar and are considering installing ceiling speakers in the kitchen which extends back behind the couch that is the main TV viewing area. The ceiling speakers would be both for music and for extending the TV audio into the kitchen.The idea is that instead of needing to turn up the soundbar loud enough to hear it well in the kitchen / dining area (which can also see the TV), we could play the audio through the ceiling speakers (which would be connected to an AMP). However, reading previous forums, it appears that this will result in the audio in the ceiling speakers being out of sync with the soundbar.In this post, someone mentions> You could use an optical connection instead of Arc.  Use a splitter to split the optical audio to the Beam and Amp to play the same audio at the same time, 2 ungrouped rooms.  This gets more complicated though.Has anybody tried t

I have a number of sonos one speakers around the house. I have in the living room two new sonos ones with a Ray sound bar, is there any way of being able to use another speaker say in the kitchen to listen to music whilst my phone app is being used for the tv set up.

I’m trying to connecting a Sonos Beam gen2 and two One SL speakers to my projector, which is a Benq HT2050A. I believe the projector does not have HDMI ARC capabilities. Is there any hope? I’d love to at least be able to have the Beam work with the projector. Thank you for any help!

So I’ve got loads of Sonos all over a large house with WiFi extenders and it doesn’t work. I also have to have my Broadband from a local supplier as they have to beam it over fields etc. so unhappy with all my Sonos at the moment   

We have been using our SONOS system for years and have not faced any issues - over the last weeks it happens more and more that songs stop playing after 2-5secs. only via the sonos app though. it works fine streaming to chromecast over the same network and play via the same soundbar… network speed is fine, all other apps work.submitted a diag file also:Your confirmation number is: 2120948714. where it happened multiple times within the last 10mins.anything to further debug? anything you can help me with? this was never an issue before but my whole system becomes unusable as i can do this Chromecast workaround only in the Living room - not in all other rooms… 

I am observing a trueplay tuning error after the latest update 14.18.In the Living Room I have Beam (Gen1), Two Play 1 & Sub (Gen 2). But I couldn't succeed in doing it. I tried a number of times but the process stops in the first step while testing the tone sound for left right balancing. This process stops everytime at the same moment just before finishing it,  gives a noise error message. I am sure there is no noise and room is as quiet as it can be possible.In my bedroom I have two play-5 which were successfully re-tuned for trueplay after the update but the living room 5.1 system is not getting tuned. If the iPad has any issues it should not have to be worked in another room stereo system.I have factory resetted each speaker in the living room, reinstalled the app on the ipad, removed case of iPad, tried to tune at different times and what not! But nothing has helped me. I have also disabled bluetooth of iPad, other devices on network, light etc after discussing with Sonos sup

After a couple of weeks away on holiday Sonos no longer works over Wifi, older products still ok.Testing includes:Multiple power re-cycles.Moved Sonos Fives to ethernet - work ok.Rebooted router, changed channels from 11 to 6, checked no congestion, factory reset Fives work fine cabled. Tested wifi on mobile all good. Tried moving Fives to wifi - no go.Still work fine cabled.Changed wifi security to all other options and power cycled everything - same problem with Fives not working on wifi even though older Sonos devices do.Suspect firmware update while on holidays had borked the newer devices.Anyone else having issues?Also tried different mobile devicesWifi signal strength no issue, all other wifi devices in house work fine.Everything working ok earlier in December.What is going on? 

Android sonos app crashes while trying to add Amp to arc home theater.   As a result the Amp can't be added to my arc theater setup. 

Is it possible to add 2 Sonos amps to a Playbar/Sub combo for a 5.1 surround setup?  I would like to use the Playbar as the center channel, one amp for the fronts and the other amp for the rear surrounds.  Is this possible?  Thank you!

After moving to a new home and trying to re-establish my Sonos system - my Sonos Sub (2nd gen i believe Series ID A100) will no longer pair to my Sonos Playbar via Wifi.   The Playbar is optically connected to my TV (workign well) and also connected Wifi (i can stream other sources to the Playbar without issue)I have factory reset the sub a number of times and the unit establishes itself to my wifi network and receives an IP address each time in the same network as rest of my wireless devices.   just for giggles - i tried to connect the sub (after initial setup) to a working Play 1 and that worked - its only when i try to connect the sub to my Playbar where things break (despite this same setup working in my previous home).  i also notice that after trying to pair it to the sub - the “about my system” shows the sub still having an IP address on my network but in the “not connected” state.   any thoughts or pointers welcomed!

Hi. When a guest was visiting our home, they logged me out of my sonos account on my sonos system, so they could log into their account and play their music. They didn’t log out and now I can’t get into my “account” on the system. How do I log them out and get back to my account?

I have iPhone S2 app move speaker that I want to use on the porch. it plays but goes offline in my app so I can’t control it. if I turn off and on again it will show up in the app but goes offline after a little while but plays so WiFi connection is there. anyone know what to do?

Hinew to Sonos family and noticed that there are no Bollywood/Punjabi radio channels in the world category.As there is a large community listed to this genre. Could you please introduce the radio channels  thanks

Hi,I struggle to set up a stereo pair of two Sonos Roams. The issues is that both Roams connect individually, but fail to be displayed in the app at the same time. If both speakers are on, the app shows the speaker that was turned on first. If I turn off one speaker, the app finds the other one. Sometimes if connect one speaker via Bluetooth, I manage to see them both in the system settings. However, this doesn’t allow me to create a stereo pair.Has someone an idea what I’m doing wrong? Thank you for the support!Niklas

Hello!I have 10 Sonos speakers spread across my less than 1000 SQ ft one level house. I have a beam gen 2, sub, five, and two Symfonisk picture frames in the living room all grouped together. I have 2 one sls in the kitchen with another picture frame. And a picture frame and a one SL in the bathroom. I have plaster walls with metal mesh. I am using sonosnet and audio drops on some of the speakers farthest from my beam gen 2 (my wife's speaker for sonosnet). I also have a sub gen 3 and a five hardwired with Ethernet but have WiFi disabled to avoid any loops. My house 2.4ghz wifi is on channel 1 and my sonosnet is on channel 11.  My audio drops on random speakers mainly when I force an action (like click next, or when I click pause not all the speakers will stop immediately) some times for 20+ seconds. Sometimes audio drops mid song without me touching anything on the farthest speakers and then comes back on. I am playing Spotify at 320kbps. I ran a network matrix but everything is green

I just bought the Sonos Port to connect with my turntable, so I can play on Sonos Move. After much trouble I finally got it to work yesterday. I tried to do exactly the same thing as I did yesterday - pick Sonos Move in rooms and then select line-in as music source - but it’s not working. No sound. I doesn’t even work when I plug my computer into Port - no sound. In the app I can see that an external source is connected and that it’s playing. I’ve checked all sound levels, but no sound. Except for one time yesterday (so I know that it’s possible!). Somebody able to help? I guess my problem could be some kind of small stupid thing within the app… 

I have the Sonos app installed on a Windows 11 PC.  I have a group of three rooms that are almost always grouped together.  On the Windows app I can control the group’s volume as a whole, but the individual room volume sliders don’t work, and the icon to mute/unmute is darkened out and can’t be clicked. For reference I can control individual room volumes on my phone app.

I use my Beam to listen to TV, Spotify, and radio.If I stop the TV or leave for a few minutes, my Sonos app goes to Spotify or radio and I must turn up the sound with a TV remote or change Sonos app back to TV.Is there a way to make the app stay on TV?Thanks 

I have a project debut carbon turntable connected to a Bellari VP130 phono stage. This little setup has been able to give me headphone access (the Bellari serves also as a headphone amp, which is why I bought it) and a line signal that I used to feed to my Sonos Play:5 line-in jack. This worked well for years.  Now o decided to buy a new headphone amp/preamp/speaker amp by a company called LTA (LTA Microzotl 2, or “MZ2” for short). The MZ2 is mainly a headphone amplifier, and it’s GORGEOUS. It has significantly improved my listening experience using headphones. However, I can’t seem to find a way to output to my Sonos.  The MZ2 has an RCA output meant for a power amp, and banana plugs meant to drive high sensitivity speakers (1W power only). If I hook my Sonos to the RCAs I get a very low volume and somewhat distorted sound if I try cranking up either the phono stage or the preamp volume. Awful. I have not tried connecting the banana plugs to the Sonos because I’m guessing that output

Hi all, Are there any Sonos speakers which can be pair with Sonos Beam gen2 and act as classic rear speakers (playing the same what comes from Beam), not in surround mode? I’ve had Beam gen 2 connected to my Sony TV via HDMI which plays great.However I wanted to extend my configuration and put two additional speakers close to back of my couch to hear it better and not need to play loudly at the evenings - so I bought 2x Sonos One.Then my disappointed of this system has started…It looks like I cannot pair it with my Beam as classic additional speakers which would play the same what comes from Beam (even in mono).When I configure them as surround, most of youtube or Netflix/HBO/Prime/Disney movies not use them or just play additional channel without “main voices” which comes from Beam (which is expected and by design but not what I wanted) When I configure them as stereo or just as group of speakers, then I cannot control volume of the whole group via TV remote controller or there is syn

Hellohappy new year to everyoneI have such a problem. I am the owner of the Samsung S95B TV for several days. I also have a Sonos Beam gen 2. I wanted to connect via hdmi earc but I failed. At the very beginning the TV screamed that sonos beam is not connected to the hdmi earc plug but it was. in the meantime, the sonos application informed about the system update. currently there is version 14.20.1 and after updating Sonos Beam does not see that it is connected to the hdmi earc plug. where is the problem. help

when i choose a station to play from an artist  it will play 2 or 3 songs in that genre and then start playing rock or unrelated artists or style.  example I set Ella Fitgerald station and after 3 songs lynrd skynrd startedc playing

I have noticed after the last update mid November when I am playing a movie on Plex which got l audio AAC5.1 or TrueHD7.1 it is shown in the Sonos app as dolby digital plus 2.0.I have tried some old movies which I definitely watched before and in the app was Dolby Atmos TrueHD.Have anyone noticed this issues before?

I have two speakers upstairs in Dining Room.  Rarely used.  I’d like to remove that whole Zone (Dining Room) and just add the two to the TV Room setup.  I have a Soundbar and Woofer hooked up.  But I’d like to augment with these two speakers about 10 feet back.  Not looking for anything fancy like Surround Sound or a fancy Home Theatre.  I simply believe they will be put to better use there and maybe enhance the sound when more than 1 or two people are downstairs in mancave…...
