Hi all,I’ve just bought a Boost 2nd hand. It arrived today and when I connected it up to my router the light went solid white, but the app couldn’t find it. I tried re-booting it then it occurred to me that the previous owner may not have de-registered it from their system so I factory re-set it. I’m now getting a blinking green light but the app still won't find it.I saw in another topic one of the agents suggested temporarily connecting one of the speakers to the router, then starting the “add product” process again for the Boost but this hasn't worked either.Can anyone help me get it connected please?

Hi,I recently bought a Beam Gen 2 and Sub Mini. Then added 2 x Sonos One SLs as surrounds a couple weeks later. I mainly use this setup to game on a PS5 and for this everything works fine and it's been brilliant. However, for movies and TV (that support 5.1 audio) there is no sound coming from the One SLs, only a quiet static noise. I've tried content from Freeview, Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and nothing makes use of the One SLs.I've checked that the Sonos app shows it's in 5.1 mode when watching content and I've attached photos from the app with my system's info. I am using an LG C9 OLED TV, which is set to HDMI ARC with eArc on (and bitstream format for HDMI in when using the PS5).Weirdly, if I try the same streaming services through the PS5 I also get the same problem but as mentioned, games make full use of the One SLs.I understand the Beam Gen 2 can support 5 channels of audio by itself and my suspicion is this is getting prioritised over the using One SLs.Any ideas?

My High Sierra Mac Pro crashes every time when it attempts to update from 11.5, could that be because the latest version does not work on High Sierra?Astounding that Sonos does not seem to provide basic info like this on their site.

I have one speaker (Play 5, gen 1) compatible with S1 app only.  All other speakers are compatible with S2. I have reset by Play 5 but am unable to use S1 to add as new speaker.  Upon launching S1 app, i’m prompted to ‘Use Sonos S2 app.’   Please advise.  

Quick question To start, I am not overly technical. I’ve never had problems with the Sonos products or app or speakers in 10 years! BUT Since upgrading to the Australian NBN high speed internet I am experiencing constant drop outs / lag  in sound and control on a iPhone 13, along with the speakers all the time. Reinstalling the app works 90% of the time, but I have to do it a couple of times a week. • I have 260 mbps average wifi speed• I like to play 8 grouped speakers at once (usually)• Have tried wired and WiFi networks, same problem either way ( and changing channels) What am I missing? 

I’m trying to set up surround sound with only using sonance speakers. I don’t want a sound bar under my tv..  I’m going to have two sonance speakers on each side of the tv and 2 ceiling sonance speakers behind the couch.  Do I need two Sonos amps to drive the two sets separately? I assume so because the ceiling speakers will be ambient and the in wall speakers by the tv will be full.  Also, Do I need to connect HDMI Arc to each Amp if I need two or do I just connect to the wall speakers and then group the other set? I don’t know if when I set it up in the app it will be set up as a home theater or if I manually have to group the two amps together whenever I want to watch tv and adjust the volume separately. Any advice would be appreciated! 

We use Sonos to deliver music in a course that we teach.  The course involves us visiting small hospitals and I have to get Sonos working, sometimes, over larger distances - and I am looking for advice around this rather than continuing with the repeated pain of my trial and error!We set up a mesh wifi network - the router is plugged into a working ethernet socket and this gives us internet access for some other purposes that we have.I usually plug a Play1 or a Boost into the router and then the other 6 Sonos speakers are placed in rooms - that can be far apart.I do not plug the Play1 or Boost into the hospital ethernet directly because I think they tend to block it (hospitals don’t usually want folks playing music day in , day out via their networks)The problem i have is that the distant speakers are sometimes too far - I can usually ‘see’ them in the app but playing music fails because of network speed.So….options?  I have tried using a couple of other Boosts in the hope that they ac

I would like to add surrounds to my arc and sub. I have a couch that is against a wall with no room to add play 1’s as surrounds. It looks like only way would be to use in wall speakers. I'd appreciate any input as to speakers to use as well as how to connect to Sonos arc. I'd like good sound but not looking to break the bank with setup. Thank you. 

TL;DR: My Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers keep cutting out for 5-10 seconds every hour or so since I’ve moved my router. My Play:5, which I’m using for Line-in does not cut out, and keeps functioning all the time. Check Photos.    My system is a Play:5 (gen 1) and two Sonos One (Gen 2). I’m using the line-in on the Play:5 to use the One’s as PC/TV speakers. They sound great and used to work perfectly, but I’ve moved my router and now there are issues.   This is what I used to have. Blue lines are Wi-Fi/Sonosnet, Red lines are wired through TP-Link Powerline Adapters:      My internet situation changed so I had to move my router to a different corner of the living room/kitchen.      I tried this set-up first, but when I started experiencing the audio issues, I plugged the Play:5 in to the router through TP-Link Powerline adapters:    Currently, I’m using Sonosnet like this. Hi Everyone. I’m hoping someone can help with an annoying issues with my music playback. I use Windows 11 pc and iTunes to play music to all my Sonos Speakers. Previously. No issues streaming to a Play 5, Sub, 4 x ones and 2 x Roams. Perfect playback. Lately I’ve been having drop outs. Only for a second but increasing in frequency lately. I’ve reset all speakers. All updates applied. Put them all on the 2.4ghz band. Disabled the 5ghz band in case it was interfering - made no difference. I’ve tried them with just one speaker at a time in the hope one speaker was interfering with the network. Tried several different channels on the router. Tried the different Sonos Net Channels 1, 6, 11Connected a One to the router to create a Sonos net. That didn’t resolve the issue. Bought a Boost - that didn’t resolve the issue. Bought a new modem / router - that didn’t resolve the issue. Nothing solves the issue. Playing music stored on my phone/iPad plays back perfectly. Tried other windows 11 pc bu

I know you add/authorize Amazon Music as service, but can Sonos differentiate, and or prioritize playing downloaded songs from you Amazon Music library? (My theoretical scenario is if your internet connection speed is slow, can you play your downloaded Ultra HD Amazon Music without buffering or loading?)

Hej, kan man fjerne en eller to One-højttalere midlertidigt fra sit surround setup, men uden at skulle genindstille trueplay helt forfra, når de tilsluttes igen? Ellers er det jo alt for besværligt lige at “låne” en One-højttaler kortvarigt til et andet rum for at høre lidt musik kun på den. Dbh. We have both S1 and S2 speakers and have both apps, essentially creating 2 systems in our home. I’m fine with that. What I’m not cool with is when I try to get onto my S1 app and it gives me this pop up that you cannot exit out of and blocks my S1 app.  HOW DO I GET THIS TO GO AWAY?! SONOS is not what it was when we got our home system initially and now I can’t even use the majority of it.   (And don’t get me started on the constant random disconnect of our two Roams…!)

Hi, I love my Sonos Five! I moved from Spotify to Tidal to enjoy a real HiFi experience with my Sonos 5, I even started using Sonos iPhone app instead of Tidal to avoid sound quality loss, but I find the Sonos app a bit clunky. A feature I use a lot is to play a Track’s Radio, because I like discovering new artists/tracks by choosing “Go to Track Radio” on the Tidal app, but in Sonos iPhone app (connected to Tidal) I don’t have that feature. Sonos: When are we going to have that feature on Sonos app? Tidal users really need this! Thanks in advance!!! 

We have one move, two paired Sonos One speakers, and two One speakers not paired (different rooms).  they do not seem to be all synchronized, and I am looking for the easiest fix. it seems like some of the speakers are just one beat ahead, or behind the other ones. This is a fairly new thing that’s going on.we play music through Spotify, Apple Music, and tune in radio generally.

I have a ARC and a BEAM both need tweaking.How do I adjust treble and bass?

Hi I have a arc a sub and 4 Sonos ones. I have the arc under the tv, 2 x ones on the wall either side of the tv and 2x Sonos one’s behind me on the wall. Now I have had to set them up as a group to make all work with the tv but if I turn up and down volume with the tv remote it only controls the arc so I have to use the app to turn up and down tv. Is there a better setup so I can control all from remote .

I have a Sony KD-55AG8 TV connected with my Sonos Beam Gen 2 via the HDMI Arc port. Futher more a have Apple TV 4K (gen 3) connected to my TV via HDMI. The Apple TV sees the Sony TV only as an Dolby Digital 5.1 output device. For example Netflix movies played via the Apple TV only result in Dolby Digital 5.1 sounds being played on the Sonos Beam. If a play the same move on Netflix installed on the TV it self, Dolby Atmos is detected and played as such on the Sonos Beam. What to do to get the apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazone Prime, Apple TV+) on the Apple TV 4 to make use of the Atmos possibility of the Sonos Beam ?Place a AV Dolby Atmos Receiver in the middle (Apple TV → AV Receiver (HDMI In), AV Receiver (HDMI 4K Out) → TV, AV-Receiver (HDMI Arc) → Sonos Beam  ?  Buy New TV with HDMI eArc  Accept what it is.. Or… ? Would love to read your suggestions
