Recently purchased iPhone 14 Pro and it doesn’t connect to Sonos. Previous iPhone worker fine.

I purchased two Roam speakers to use with my existing speakers, CD player, record player, receiver and a Bluetooth transmitter. Unfortunately the sound lag between the old wired speakers and the Roams was unacceptable. I gather this is because of the Bluetooth connection so I have upgraded to the Port but I am very unsure of the best way to connect it to my system so that I can listen to my CDs and vinyl using both the wireless speakers and the wired speakers connected to the receiver at the same time.I have tried plugging the RCA plug from the audio out on the receiver to the audio in on the Port but I'm pretty much just shooting in the dark at this point and there was still a latency problem. I’m attaching a diagram of the wiring set up with model numbers. Any advice on what plug should go where or if I need to get a RCA splitter too? Thanks very much. 

I have a Connect and Connect Amp. Both are connected to different mesh routers in different rooms (using Ethernet). Everything was working fine, until I installed a new mesh router a couple of days ago as the old mesh router was starting to give me problems. Now the app (Sonos S1) is able to find the Connect Amp. But is not able to find the Connect. I’ve tried to use “find missing product”, “add a new product to existing system” in setting, reset the Connect to factory setting, moved the Connect to the same room/router as the Connect Amp with no success. Any suggestion and help would be appreciated.Thanks!Sanjiv 

I am looking to upgrade my SONOS Playbar (Gen1) with the ARC.  I want to verify my current SUB (Gen1) and Play:1 (rear) will work with the ARC.

Guys.I am panicking over here.My old Sonos Play1 decided suddenly today to start playing only mid-range and low-range (bass) sounds.Everything I play will sound without trebble.I have tried PowerOFF/PowerON.Tried resetting by pulling power cable and plugging back in while holding Playbutton at the top. And then go through "Adding new product" setup.I even tried connecting it to cable instead of wifi. And also played multiple sources.... from internet and music on NAS.It didnt get hit or fell down.It was just standing on top of my clothing closet all the time. No sunlight or heat there.  What else can I do?Did it break down just like that?!? 

HiTried to connect B&O Beolab 6000 speakers to Sonos AMP.  It seems to work, but the volume is loud when using as TV speakers or even Streaming Music.  Even at lowest settings (aside from 0) they are loud.  Tried adjusting the Volume Limit but wasn’t helpful. Any suggestions?  Is it a setting issue?  Or something else?  And since these are Active speakers, if I turn off the TV, there is still the buzzing noise from the line - it won’t ‘shut off’ the speakers.  Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

Any time I adjust something ...volume, change stations  ...any interactive change to the app on the mac, then minimize the app. After about 15-30 seconds it pops up again. How can I stop this?  Thanks,  JA

Please help. I have a R7350 Nighthawk system with download speed 411.12 Mbps & upload 22.13 Mbps. I have (2) Sonos one SL. The problem is after playing for an hour the music stops. The light on the top of the speaker is white. I have made about 10 calls when submitting diagnostic code. At first I was told to contact my network provider . Changed channel setting still no difference. All speakers show on my network & are on 2.4 GHZ. speakers are about 15-20 feet from router open floor plan. Not to sure what to do at this point. Any assistance would be appreciated. Extremely frustrating when you call and it like they are reading off the same que card. The latest was told to delete everything and reinstall ...yup same result….Please help!!

Hi,Do you have problems with Airplay with stutters on Roam right after turning it on?Let’s say we have 4 states:1 - when Roam is tuned on and available in network and it’s the only state that allows to play music2 - when Roam completely turned off, after 12 second press on the back button3 - when Roam is in sleep mode, after press on back button4 - low power mode after several minutes on inactivity when WIFI POWER SAVE setting is on.So, transferring from state 1 to 2 and back to 1 (1->2->1) enables stutters. Then transferring from 1 to 3 and back to 1 (1>3>1) n amount of times fixes that.I spoke with Sonos Support and got replacement. The new Roam that I received has exactly the same problem. I tried in different networks with different routers and result is the same.

Hello all. Just got my Sonos Arc system. Connected to Epson TW-7100 4k Projector. Using the Feintech VMS14201 HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch to connect Apple TV 4k and Fire TV 4k. But getting no sound with the HDMI-optical connector. Feintech def supports my projector model. Any help on solving this would much appreciated. Connected the system as in the diagram (attached). I would hate to have to return the system.  

In the last 24hrs, I have 2 zones (Play3 and One) that drop from my system.I’ve had a stable system for well over a year.I’ve rebooted Router/Boost/Zones, all to no avail.I managed to get them to reconnect briefly but then they drop and have the red dot (not connected) in app, along with the spanner.Submitted Diagnostics this morning ID:816140655 Moderator edit: Combined posts.

Hi, I have a lot of Amazon Music stations saved to my Sonos Favorites, which is my to-go place to stream music at home. Eventually, when I choose one of stations I get this error message: “Requested Operation Failed Please try again” and the station won't play. It's completely random, occurs once every week / bi-week / month and affects one or a few more stations each time.There's a workaround for that: I have to remove the station from the Favorites, search for it again and add the station to My Sonos. But it shouldn't be like that, I'm getting tired of that and I believe it should be fixed.I guess Amazon randomly changes the links to some of their stations and then my Sonos Favorites keeps this broken link. If this is the case, could someone from Sonos escalate the issue and have someone ask Amazon Music to stop doing that, please?If internally you have access to my Sonos Favorites, there's one station there currently with this issue. When playing music on Spotify, the left speaker occationally drops playing for 1-2 seconds.This problem is not present when playing from other sources. Also playing spotify on other devices as bluetooth works just fine. Diagnostic number, if it is helpfull: 857151965

Hi, I have two monitor audio ceiling speakers setup in my outbuilding with a Sonos Amp and Sonos sub.  The system sounds awesome! I would now like to add 2 additional outdoor speakers to the system and would like to limit the volume of this set independently of the indoor speakers.   Is there a speaker pair that I can buy where I can restrict the volume on the speaker itself?  I just wanted the ability to have a low outdoor speaker volume.I understand Sonos doesn’t allow the independent control of different speaker pairs… thanks 

-Me gustaría saber si: ¿El cable hdmi de la sonos beam gen1 es el mismo que el de la sonos beam gen2?-Tengo un problema, cuando conecto la sonos beam gen 1 a un televisor samsung del 2018 a la toma hdmi (arc), estando la tv apagada , el led rojo de stand by de la tv parpadea lentamente, ¿¿alguien sabe a que es debido y como se soluciona?? Tengo otra Tv samsung del mismo año conectado a otra barra y no le pasa.En principio la tv y la sonos beam parece que  funcionan correctamente . Muchas gracias

Is this possible, or does surround sound only come via a Soundbar at the front?Apple TV just seems to give me the option to select the pairs of speakers, with no way of saying which ones are front and rear. 

We’ve got several Sonos products, most of which work fine.In 2 rooms with an Amp with ceiling speakers, the music randomly ‘mutes’/ stops whilst the other Play units carry on. It’s not for long & then they join in againAlso, in other rooms with AMPs, the speakers won’t play over a certain volume for prolonged periods.Thank you in advance

An older thread was closed on this topic.  I have a 3y old Sonos Amp that also died.  No power despite trying multiple power cords, outlets, reset.  We have 4 amps and 4 ports, and none of the others died so I do not think this is a power surge (all are connected to surge protectors).  I am now a little worried, since this was the oldest amp we have--  are these other Sonos Amps destined for failure?  Before I buy a replacement, I wanted to see if others are seeing these fail...

Turntable is connected to Sonos Port via external amp, and I managed to enjoy first album.  However, both on my phone Sonos app and the Sonos app on pc, I cannot get the source to change back to streaming music - it remains on turntable.  Any suggestions?  I can unplug the Port, but is there not a way to change the source back to stream music from turntable, and back?Thank you in advance for any solutions or advice.FYI - I have multiple Sonos (Play 3, multiple Play One’s, Sonos Move).

Hi.  When I select several rooms I always get a message telling me Sonos does not work with wifi range expanders,  but I do not have a wifi range expander.  Just one single router . And in fact I can perfectly successfully connect to all the rooms in all combinations.  I just have to dismiss this incomprehensible unnecessary warning  message each time.  What is this happening? Hello, I have a small issue. We have 3 amps on our system that should control 3 different areas with their own speakers.When we first set up the system the ‘Gym’ amp and speakers were on the app. However after we had some internet issues the ‘Gym’ amp/speakers now just copy whatever is being played on the ‘Reception’ amp/speakers. But as I said, the ‘Gym’ used to be it’s own individual area. It’s as if the ‘Reception’ amp now controls the speakers in the reception and the gym. But the gym should be controllable through it’s own amp. They are not ‘tied’ together (when you get 2 or more amps to play the same), it’s just the the gym has completely gone from the app, but as I said is till playing music!Any suggestions would be very appreciated!Cheers A  

I have a sonos move and a google nest hub set up in the kitchen. Sonos move is set up to use sonos voice control so that I can verbally group it with the other sonos speakers in the house. I have a google nest hub  that will play specific spotify songs I request, but it only plays on the google nest hub speaker. I would like to find a way to ask google to play a specific spotify song but have it play on the sonos move speaker. I set the sonos as the google homes default speaker but when i request a song it says “okay playing (this song) on the kitchen speaker. sorry spotify premium is not currently available” even though i have my spotify premium account set up and it works when the sonos is not the default speaker.Is there a way to play spotify music by asking the google nest hub, and then have it play on the sonos speaker?
