Dolby Atmos grouping room with ERA300 and Beam (2nd gen)

Hello sonos community!

Is it possible to group two rooms with one having the sonos beam+sub+one sourrounds (capable of dolby atmos music via apple music) and the other room having the new era300 and both playing dolby atmos?
Currently the 2nd room is equipped with a five and when I group these rooms I loose the dolby atmos format for all speakers…

Thank you in advance!

I would have thought so as both rooms can play Atmos. Like you say, if you were to group with a Five then you would lose Atmos as the Five cannot play that type of music.

This was also my thought. Where you able to test this theory yet?

I don’t have an ERA 300 to test with I’m afraid.

I’m sure someone who has your kind of set up will chime in 😀

I have a beam Gen. 2 and an arc. If I add the second room I lose Dolby and it just plays in stereo
