I have a Denon DRA-697CI with two pairs of high quality wired speakers. Also have two Sonos One and a Sonos Roam. My current setup is to use one (echo Dot into the Denon for Alexa controls) or the other (via Sonos app). I’m wondering if the Port would enable me to use all speakers together, or if others have had issues with wired and wireless speakers playing at the same time and controlled remotely. 

My alarms periodically just don't go off (not even the chime backup). I have two alarms in two different rooms set one minute apart. When this problem happens, BOTH alarms fail to go off. It's happened three or four times over the past few years. I used to be on the s1 controller and thought that may be the problem, but recently moved to s2 a few days ago, and it just happened again. HiI have just installed two Era 300s in a stereo pair with a sub. All works fine, except when I added the Alexa voice assistant the music became incredibly muffled as if Alexa was listening all the time. When i removed the voice assistant, it was all ok again.Does anyone have any ideas of how I might resolve this?ThanksNeil 

Hello,I installed a new ax3000 router in my home. All devices including my 2 Sonos speakers are properly connected via wifi and functioning. I also connected my USB hard drive to my router. This contains my music library.I am attempting to connect a shared music folder without success. My router is configured to share the USB music folder (RW perms) over an SMB connection. Furthermore, the router is configured as UPnP media server. When I add the folder “\\192.168.x.x\iTunes” and credentials it accepts everything, but after 5 seconds it fails with an error message, “//192.168.x.x/iTunes” is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.”Using the same path above I can successfully connect using my mac and windows laptops. I’ve seen some others with similar problems but using a different model. Is this still a known issue? If so, SONOS when will you fix this?

I have a Sonos ray can I connect 2 Sonos ones second generations together as a surround sound

I noticed the Sonos Port isn’t listed in the product menu, and the price has been reduced on the site. Is this product being discontinued, or upgraded? 

I have a Sonos Connect S2 linked via TOSlink to Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M. I am subscribed to Tidal HiFi Plus..However, the DacMagic only ever indicates 44.1 kHz , even when playing what Tidal says is a Max resolution track ( Flac or MQA). TIDAL app is set to stream Max.What is the matter?

I’ve had this same Sonos set up for years and all of a sudden the following issues have arisen play 1 x 2 not connected and cannot reconnect though the app. Have done the troubleshooting unsuccessfully  one SL x 2, intermittently dropping out of the app. Both not connecting through the Spotify app sonos Arc and beam, intermittently dropping out from app and becoming disconnected  Sonos app has become laggy and difficult to use  I haven’t added or changed my network lately which is odd that this has started out of the blue please help!

Is there a way to disable unwanted sound effects? The music getting louder or softer as I swipe my finger on the Era 100 is exactly the function I expect of a volume control, yet there’s a second artificial sound that not only inexplicably intrudes on the music experience but is redundant of what I can already hear. Please tell me there’s a way to make the beeps go away, they’re harshing my mellow, offending my fellow listeners, and I think make the system sound like a cheap toy. 🤞

I have used Sonos speakers for years with no problems.  However, in recent months I find that every time I open the app on my iPhone, the sonos app is disconnected from the system so I cannot control it.  Within about 10s it reconnects fine without me having to do anything.  My wife (also using an iphone) doesn’t experience any such problems.  I’ve not knowingly changed any settings and the only app changes would be standard app updates and iOS updates.  Any help much appreciated

HiI have successfully connected a DMP 6 to my 5 and played music throughout my Sonos system.  My question is, if I added a pre amp would this enhance the sound further and increase the volume?  I found that the volume using the DMP 6 was lower then playing without it connected?

Very frustrated - have the Arc, new sub and new Era 300 surrounds.Going from the Arc to the TCL into its eARC hdmi and the appleTV 4K into another HDMI port on the TCL.On the TV i have the following settings:Audio > Audio Output > ARC (Sonos Arc)Audio > preferred streaming format > AutoAudio > Digital output format > passthrough  (I see no other audio options digging around the menu; I’ve read in other forums that the output needs to be “bitstream”; however i either can’t find or don’t have that option. On the appletv 4kAudio Output > TV SpeakersAudio Format (it reads “auto” on the menu bar) > Change format “Off” / If I turn it “on” I can set it to “Dolby Digital 5.1” - there is no Atmos Option.Audio Mode: Auto (only other option is 16 bit)When I play Atmos music through Apple Music (under its Spatial Audio, which claims to support Atmos) via this set up i get 5.1 listed on the Sonos app. Similarly, when i play movies - either through the Apple app on Apple TV o

Hi,I am a hard of hearing person and I have a rather specific question: when I watch movies and series I can hear the voice of the actors from the front of the room (sonos arc) while from the side satellites (sonos one SL x2) there is no dialogue track there making me understand speech less well. The question is whether it is possible to set the dialogue track so that it can also be heard in the side satellites? Thanks!

Hello. I purchased 2x Sonos Five with Sub mini. I was hoping to be able to use the speakers via 3.5 mm audio jack, but it looks all the jacks that I've tried, do not go in all the way through and as a result I either don't get any sound or ot sounds without the base and other channels. Can someone explain what could be the issue before I return my speakers? Thank you.

It sounds like I have a speaker (one of my One SL speakers) might be blown.  Getting cracking like I haven’t heard since is was a kid back in the 1970s listening to cheap car speakers.  suggestions as to what I need to do?  I have only had for about 2 years +

My brand new Sonos arc turns volume up and down automatically.It happens both when streaming music via Spotify or when sound from my television is being transmitted. It happens all the time. Should I contact telephone support or any other good ideas?Thx, Anders

I have 2 Play 5 gen 1 from 2014. I use the old app to control them. After the last upgrade, both sonos completely  stopped responding. There are no lights. I unplugged and replugged and I restarted the router but no luck. Please help!

I have a system which includes 2 Play 5 (gen 1) speakers using the S1 app. I have recently bought a second hand Play 3. When I try the ‘add product’ button on the app it tells me ‘app update needed’. I am concerned that if I update it, the Play 5’s wont work. Would this be the case?

Has anyone experienced a solid red status light (to0 led) and flashing red battery light (bottom led)?I have read the info pertaining to what colour means what but the combination above is not covered, I have tried soft and hard resets to no avail. The speaker will not ‘reboot’ or enter into set up mode. I will connect it to power to see if the battery has run so low that it has upset the delicate piece of electronics. This is the second time I have had a strange combination of lights and tech support talked me through some troubleshooting not on the website although I am not sure 100% that they knew what the issue was and it was resolved by coincidence and trial and error. Has anyone else had this issue? The lights are definitely red. Not orange. Could be a hardware fault? Is the unit faulty. Not been happy with the speaker’s reliability in all. Sounds great but is problematic in connecting to multiple phones using simple Bluetooth. What must us be so complicated!

HiI got the Sonos playbar with optical in and output, with this I can’t get Dolby Atmos. Is there a way to convert optical to hdmi? Converter? And then get Dolby Atmos? Let me know and if there’s any place I can buy this.  Thanks

I have a Arc, and 2 x era 100’s in my “Tv Room”. the era 100s are set up as surrounds to work with the arc.however, i can’t find an option to EQ only the arc, or only the Era 100’s. it seems the EQ applies to all devices in the TV room. is this normal?
