Trying to find the best Sonos speaker for this vinyl player

Sub is paired to the Arc....the startup sound when linking the sub is very impressive but after that the sub is exceptionally low and imperceptible...checked wifi setting toom position etc. No luck. I have looked at many responses to the same problem and found no solutions that work

Recenly purchased a new Sony Bravia XR90L.My soundbar connects via an optical cable, but the TV requires a HDMI connection.Is there an adapter than can convert the connection from the optical to HDMI.Thank you

I've recently purchased a Sonos Arc and it sounds great but I have an issue which is best described as the bass going over my head. I've got an area with 8ft ceilings, 9ft wide (tv/bar centred) and 6.5ft sitting distance from the soundbar with a large area behind me, the bar height sits just under chin level in my viewing position. Everything sounds nice, great Atmos effect and clarity, what I'm finding though is a huge increase in bass if I stand 3ft+ behind my sitting position. To compare the difference, in my sitting position it sounds balanced or even on the mild side for bass, when standing behind it sounds like there's a small sub involved, a large increase. I don't own any Apple products so I'm unable to use the tuning features, would tuning it bring the bass in to my sitting area? Any advice would be great, thanks.

Please add the ability to disable bluetooth (in addition to wifi, as already permitted) after connecting ethernet to the Era 300s and ARC.  Allow it to be reenabled with an existing button or after temporarily disconnecting the ethernet. Having the bluetooth transmitting RF in close proximity to the viewer’s head is not desirable to many individuals if the system is already hardwired.  This is especially relevant to placement of the era 300s as rear speakers (in some cases approx 30cm away).  Personally, this modification would finally spur me to purchase the era 300s.  

I have 4 of the in celing speakers in my house and im wondering if i can use the line in feature to connect to my ddj FLX 10 which has line in outputs. Im asking rather than testing as i dont currently own a cable thats long enough so wondering if anyone has tested this? 

For some reason my 2 play One speakers will not stay connected.  This is new as I had the 2 play Ones connected with my play Five.  They are all on Wi-Fi and the connection is excellent.  Additionally , I have done the factory reset on the play Ones twice.   They connect for a minute and drop off   I haven’t made any changes to my network,etc   Any help would be appreciated 

I have just brought Beam 2 but try as I might it will not connect to WiFi , I have rebooted my Sky broadband to no avail , I have two Sonos rear speakers both connect to Sky. Go though so many reboots but the app sill can’t find the beam even though it asks in I want to add beam ?it I can fix it soon it’s going back ! As not fit for purpose 

Considering purchasing a Roam SL for travel use.  It would not be connected to a WiFi system since most places I travel do not have reliable WiFi.  It would be connected to either Bluetooth or Airplay on my iphone.  I would be able to do any initial setup with it connected to WiFi as part of my home Sonos system.My question is:  Would I still be able to use the alarm function?  That is, would the speaker wake up and play music?  Would using my phone as a hotspot work or be needed?Or, how would I do this?

I’ve bought the CD and as I always do ripped it onto my NAS for Sonos playback so I have the Dark and Bright side stereo mixes but thought it would be good to try in Atmos on the Arc. I have an Xbox One and when I put the CD in it prompted me to download Windows media player. Although I’d previously changed the audio HDMI setting to Atmos when I started playing I noted it had gone back to Dolby 5.1 so I changed it back to Atmos and it seemed sticky after that. Although the Sonos app is saying Atmos I am not hearing any audio through the rear surrounds (Play 1s) which I would expect to be involved.Has anybody managed to listen to this in “proper” Atmos with the Arc and Xbox One?

I have just added a Sonos roam to my system, yet when I connect and select music to play , no sound comes from the device?

I have an outbuilding that is connected to the internet through a wireless access point. It is the same signal as the house but with a different name. I have a Five in there so need the outhouse WiFi to be a trusted network. My issue is that I have two Era 100s in my conservatory that isnt too far away from the outbuilding so you can pick up the WiFi signal sometimes. They are connected to the network in the house but occasionally pick up the signal in the outbuilding. How can I stop them from connecting to this network? The signal is visible but the strength isn’t great unless you’re in the outbuilding. It’s causing them to lose connection and then reconnecting to the house WiFi, but I can’t make the switch networks manually. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It’s like a game of whack-a-mole dealing with Sonos issues. I purchased a new Arc since Tech support couldn’t help me get my Playbar to stop cutting out. The arc is working fine($800 later), but Alexa won’t properly control groups I create within the app. I have disabled the skill, removed all the groups, deleted all the devices, and registered everything. When I make a group called “upstairs speakers,” Alexa says okay but only plays the music on one group of upstairs speakers. Same happens for when I try to play music everywhere using a different group. If I use the Sonos voice integration, the commands work fine. Obviously it’s an Alexa integration issue, but there is no way I’m dealing with Amazon tech support, which may be the only thing worse than Sonos tech support. Is there any way to make this work properly? Why would it choose some speakers in a group vs others to use?

Hello all!If a I connect my stereo capable turntable through an era 100’s line-in that is in turn connected to my home system that has a stereo setup ( 2 sonos play 1s) in the living room, will the living produce stereo sound coming from my turntable through the era 100? Thanks! -Nash

I have onkyo rz-810 receiver with port hook up no sound from my surround sound to move 2 speakers!

I have 2 Sonos amps that are attached to indoor and outdoor speakers only, not my tv, just passive speakers.  My problem is when I turn off my tv with either the tv or cable box remotes it also turns off my amps.  So I cannot turn off the tv to listen to music!  How can I stop the amps from turning off when I turn off my tv?  I have tried to reprogram my Comcast remote, but it didn’t work.  My Samsung remote also turns off the amps.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How do I eliminate the Line In audio delay on my Move 2?  To clarify I would like to have no delay.  Thank you  

Hi,I am having trouble getting a Playbar to recognize the volume controls from a new remote and am looking for options or advice.I have a new TCL TV and an old Playbar. The Playbar worked great with the previous TV via optical audio, including recognizing the TV's IR remote volume up/down commands. The new TCL remote is Bluetooth and IR. I have turned off Bluetooth on the TV and confirmed the remote is now using IR-only by covering/uncovering its IR emitter with the TV receiving/not receiving commands.During pairing with this new remote, the Playbar will recognize it has seen a volume + signal, though it is temperamental -- the remote has to be in about the "right" position. However, the Playbar never recognizes the next steps of pressing the volume + button three times.I have tried different batteries and I have tried with the TV on, off, and unplugged. In all cases, the Playbar will recognize the first volume +, even if temperamental to position, but will not recognize three volume +

How do I pair the arc plus sub to two era 300s ?

I have Sonos Era 100, is it possible to connect to it microphone like in the picture for karaoke? 

I had this set up, working previously, but no longer working when I transitioned back to listen to some Apple Music. I’m not sure how to get it working again. I have disabled, the speakers on the TV and it’s running through optical and I’ve gone to the settings on the Sonos amp and cut off the IR. Any other thoughts. 

I have a Zonebridge BR100 & a Connect ZP90, this was working fine up until about a week ago when my Router died and I had to replace it.The new router is a TP Link Archer AX72 and is working great for everything else. As soon as I connect the ethernet cable to the ZoneBridge my internet speeds in the house plummet from around 40Mbps to less than 200-300Kbps, the TP-Link Router tells me that a new device has connected but nothing can be found on the Sonos App, the Network lights are flashing on the ZB. I have reset the ZB and the App but still no devices can be found. As soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable from the ZB my internet speeds in the house go back to normal.I don’t know what else to try.Any advice gratefully received!! 

I have a Samsung TV on my patio that is connected to ethernet that I use YouTube TV on. is there anyway that I could push what is playing on the TV with YouTube TV or Apple TV? If I’m using Apple TV that’s been built into the TV and push it to a Sonos amplifier wirelessly so I can use the speakers on the patio to play the sound?

Hi, I have a second gen Play 5, 3rd gen amazon echo dot, and Project Carbon turntable. I currently have my turntable connected to the play 5 through the line in connection through the phono preamp associated with my turntable.  I would really like to have the echo dot connected to the play 5 as well as the turntable to make it a smart speaker.  I was wondering if this is possible with the turntable connected at the same time? If so, what would my options be?  I also have an era 100 and gen 1 move if that matters for options.  Thanks in advance for the help!
