Trying to do a factory reset on a Play 1 speaker and it’s not working. I get as far as having a flashing orange light, but it doesn’t transition from this stage to flashing green. Ironically I had no such issue with its companion Play 1 (I use them as a pair, together with an Arc and Sub). I am in the process of setting everything up on a new network.  Even with the orange flashing light, my app will commence the connection process - it connects my phone with the Sonos temporary network. However, when it gets to the “chime” stage, there’s no chime. After looking for a chime twice, I’m then prompted to “try something else” and this is where I get into difficulty - I’m prompted to press the Play/Pause button, but nothing happens (probably because the speaker is in flashing orange mode, rather than flashing green). 

My Apple playlists are no longer showing up on SONOS after this week (Nov. 17) update. Instead, it shows blocks where the playlist would be with “Internal error - Invalid Atom” as the message. The first 3 playlists show properly, but the remaining show this error message. 

I use a Playbase, Sub, and two Five speakers for listening to music and for home theatre viewing. I would like to add a turntable to this system to listen to my vinyl collection. Given that the system functions through wi-fi, is there a way to do this?

As I try to get my three wired Connect:Amp system configured for inter-vlan connectivity, I’ve noticed that depending on which vlan I’m connected to, the app displays one of 2 different “Let’s fix it” messages:Sonos and your mobile device must be on the same network. Let’s fix it Unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix itDoes anyone happen to know if there is a difference between the 2 messages as far as what the app thinks is going on? The two vlans are configured identically and each one will control Sonos if the connection is first established using the Sonos vlan and then swapping networks. It seems that some initial “handshake” is not properly configured still, but once open, it stays open…at least for some extended period of time.Any help & insight appreciated!

Hi - I have an existing system set up at home but am on a long term project overseas and am trying to add a new product using my existing account. The app is prompting me to update my existing products from the home network to the new overseas network. I don’t want to do this obviously as the family use the system at home. Does that mean I have to set up a new account entirely and cannot have 2 different systems in 2 countries on different networks controlled on the same account? Thanks in advance for any advice. 

System: Arc, gen1 sub, 2 Play 1’s  77” LG OLED Sonos ver 15.10 On two occasions within the last week I have experienced an extremely loud, ear hurting/speaker damaging(?) blast of sound upon start-up from my Sonos system upon turning on my TV   I’ve also experienced, on random streams on live TV (Hulu) very garbled dialog, this just started recently as well  Any suggestions appreciated   

Hi there!I tried digging around various help topics on the forum but to no avail! I still want to try posting and find out if there is indeed a solution or I am being overly optimistic.I have a Sonos Move (2020 model) that was working perfectly fine all these days. Until recently, I noticed that the battery would discharge on its own while sitting on the charging base. I have never used a USB-C charger with this unit before. From the forum , I found various suggestions to do a reset (power button pressed 15 seconds off the base, and power button with 15 seconds on the base) that seemed to work and would reset and power on the system and start charging the unit. Again, within a day or two, I saw the battery drain (indicated by the low battery sound). I repeated the above steps and it worked.Recently, it once again drained out completely and this time the orange LED kept continuously blinking while sitting on the charging base and reset did not solve the problem. Hi there Hope someone can shed some light on a strange issue I have.My setup:Beam connected via eARC to Samsung UE55B80 PS5 connected to Samsung UE55B80 via HDMI Setup for all set to Dolby / DTS (no PCM)Issue: every time I switch to the HDMI for the PS5, the volume on the Beam goes up. I even see the OSD on the Samsung indicating it turns up the volume. This doesn't happen on any other sources / apps on the Samsung.Any takes on where to change this setting? (Might be a default volume level on PS5, dunno) Thanks in advance

I have an iPhone 11 version iOS 17.12 with Sonos enabled. My problem is when I push the TV button to play on my Samsung Smart TV HD nothing comes out of the speakers.Des

HiI have 2 Sonos Play 1 speakers and I'm looking to buy a vinyl player to connect to them. I see the Pro-Ject T1 mentioned a lot in relation to Sonos ,but I'm not sure if it would connect to the Play1. Any guidance on which vinyl player would be compatible, or anything else I would need to buy to connect them to a vinyl player would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

Hi Forum,I have a question about a recent setup change in my Sonos system and signal dropping issues when using SonosNet.My initial setup was as follows:Room L:One Arc Two Sonos One (surrounds) One Sonos SubRoom K:One Sonos OneThe Arc in Room L was wired and worked flawlessly, with no signal drops.I recently upgraded my system to:Room L:One Arc Two Era 300s (surrounds) One Sonos SubRoom K:One Sonos OneRoom B:One Arc Two Sonos One (surrounds) One Sonos SubInitially, I left the Arc in Room L wired. However, I noticed the Sonos Ones in Room B were disconnecting randomly. These are positioned across the wall from the Room L's Arc, approximately 20 inches away.When I removed the Ethernet cable from the Arc in Room L, everything started working correctly. The Sonos app shows excellent Wi-Fi signal for all devices.My system is now working as expected, but I'm curious about why the signal drops were occurring. The apartment complex I live in has contracted community/tenant WiFi through WhiteSky. Each unit has a unique password for the receiver in the unit; however, my Sonos PLAY 1 won’t connect to the WiFi.Is there a workaround to this outside of buying additional equipment?

I have a google nest doorbell, the wireless kind. The doorbell chime is supposed to play over google nest speakers. I don’t want a device with a microphone permanently listening in my house, so I bought a Sonos Roam SL in the hopes I could get the doorbell chime to play on that. I’ve hit a dead end. Has anyone done this successfully? I enabled notifications on the doorbell and the speaker is showing in my Google Home app, but I’m not sure how to get the notifications to work on the speaker. Google tech support will not help, I’ve tried. I also downloaded Google Assistant, where it says that there’s one Sonos device linked but it doesn’t display anywhere in the app. If I get it to display in Google Assistant I can create a Routine that starts when the doorbell rings which should trigger the action of making an announcement, but its saying “no device for audio available” on the routine creation page. Has anyone been able to use a Roam SL for this sort of thing?  Open to any and all sugge

Brand new arc and sub setup yesterday.  Connected to formovie theater (also brand new) via arc3.  Sounds great, but during periods of any sustained front-channel sound that channel pulses like it comes in short, half-second waves. All the other sound is normal.  So eg for batman begins Nolan always has these long sustained notes in the background—all sound is perfect but that, front-channel note is pulsing in volume, like a wave of maybe ½ second from peak to peak.  Same thing watching football…the announcers and sound of the game are all fine, but when the crowd cheers, the cheers, and just that channel alone, pulse like that.   And by the way it is a significant pulse, not just a minor thing I’m picking up on, but significant enough to make it hard to hear the other sounds.  Hope that is a clear explanation, not something I’ve ever heard before so struggling to explain it in words! thanks for any input you can give.

Hi allI have a very simple setup:Samsung UE65JS9500L Apple TV (Gen 4) Sonos ARCI typically only use the Apple TV remote to switch on and off my Apple TV and control it. I only use the Apple TV to watch things.Now, seldomly my TV switches on when I turn on the Apple TV. But, my TV *always* turns off when I turn of the Apple TV.So somewhere something is not correct. Any ideas?Thanks!

I’ve got an Arc, Sub, and two One SLs set up in a surround system. They’re hooked up to a Samsung Frame. Initially when I paused and then unpaused the TV, the sound wouldn’t resume for a second or two. It was annoying, but not unbearable. Lately, however, the sound will randomly drop for lengthy periods--30 seconds to a couple of minutes. Sometimes I’ll have to back out of whatever app I’m using entirely to get it working again. There’s no discernable pattern to this that I can find. It happens whether I’m using the native apps on the TV, Nvidia Shield, or Google TV with Chromecast. Everything is hooked up to WiFi; the system is strong (the video, which is also hooked up via wifi, is never pixelated when this happens). Any ideas? Thanks!

I’ve signed up to Amazon Music Unlimited and am trying to locate good Spatial content. I created a new Playlist in the Amazon Music app and added a Playlist to it but when I go to Amazon Music in Sonos app and My Music - Playlists I don’t see that Playlist I’ve created. Is it just a question of waiting for servers to replicate do you think?

Hi! I have had a Sonos One with Google Assistance which have worked perfectly when asked the assistant to play a song. I recenty bought a Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub and two Sonos One SL. These new speakers are in my TV-room and my old Sonos One in the living room.When asking the assistant to play a song it either chooses to play from my old Sonos One or my new speakers without my old Sonos One.I can´t group all the speakers in the app since I have to have three rooms to be able to do that. Anyone has a solution for this? RegardsPhilip
