Hey everyone

I Know there was a way to set google assistant on not supported countries by changing in the sonos account a supported country such as the UK or US  and adding zip code but it seems that no longer works.

I see in the app the option for the assistant but during setup it can’t find the sonos speaker, was something changed?

Hi @Yoad

Thanks for your post!

It’s entirely possible that Google have put their own geo-blocking in place - if so, I don’t know how you’d be able to get round it. A VPN running on your router, perhaps, but VPNs are not supported by Sonos - there’s no telling if it would work or not.

If this is not the case, however, it’s possible that a reboot of your router, speakers and/or phone would help.

I hope this helps.

I guess that’s the case, tried with VPN on router and gps location faker but with no luck :/...
