I have a 3 Sonos connect system with an AMP and a Bridge from 2012. I have a bad Connect I believe. But not seeing any new units to purchase. Is there a replacement for the Connect?

Brad

The CONNECT was replaced by the Port. The CONNECT:AMP was replaced by the Amp. The BRIDGE was replaced by the BOOST, but is now being retired, as some of the newest Sonos speakers don’t connect to the SonosNet signal.

For various reasons, I’d suggest it is time to retire your BRIDGE. You could just wire one of your speakers, or connect your entire system to your WiFi directly. See The wireless and wired systems FAQ.

Thanks for your response. Just to give you a clearer picture of my setup.

I have 2 Pioneer amps that are hooked to several speakers in the ceiling of my house. There is one Sonos Connect hooked via the 3.5mm jacks to each Pioneer Amp. One doesn't give out very much volume if any at all. I have moved it to the other Pioneer amp with no luck. So I should replace that one with the Sonos Port?

Brad

Oh, I see the Ports are $500. That’s crazy.

The first thing I’d do is  submit a system diagnostic , and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There could just be something wrong with it.

If you had to, yes, I’d replace it with a Port, and connect that to your current amplifier, assuming the amplifier is not the broken link, which you seem to have tested.

Other than a Port you are pretty much stuck with the used-resale market.

You are likely on an S1 setup so you could purchase an older S1 only Connect and save a few bucks over getting a newer one.
