I use Series 1 Sonos products in 4 rooms. I have a Sonos 3, I use a Sonos amp and i have two Sonos Connects interfacing with two separate amplifiers both with in built DAC’s . One of the Connect’s has stopped functioning and needs replaced. I currently use the optical connection in the Cyrus DAC 8 . My question is can I drop in the replacement Port product or will this require two different apps to work my system- one Series One and one Series 2? 

The Port will work as it is compatible with both the S1 and S2 apps.
