I just bought a pair of Era 100 speakers, which I plan to use in stereo. I bought 1 usb-c in-line adapter to play a portable CD player through the speakers. Will the adapter send a stereo signal to both speakers? Do I need a y-adapter to the second speaker?

Did you buy a Sonos adapter? Most common adapters out there are ‘backwards’ from what Sonos needs. There’s a real difference between ADC and DAC.

If you got the Sonos adapter, yes, as long as the speakers are set up as stereo, you’ll get a stereo signal, where one will be left, and the other right.

Ho, ho, ho indeed. At the risk of offending some folks, Merry Christmas, and enjoy your Sonos ;)
