I have recently upgraded to Sequoia 15.3 on my iMac and as usual after every update my Sonos system stops workingThis time, my apple music library is not found - all views say ‘No Selections are available’I have checked the usual issues around file and media sharing settings but these look ok, so tried removing the assigned library and re-adding as the ‘found music folder’ and the when this did not work i tried adding the ‘manual menu path’ from my user path. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the S1 app but nothing.Anyone else had this issue?

Since the bungled software release I have had loads of issues with Sonos, alongside many others, but have worked around and fixed things as possible but some issues remain. I just spent 1 ½ hrs talking to Sonos without getting anywhere.Everything works correctly in iTunes, listing, playing and searching.However, when I select ‘Albums’ in Sonos on my Mac laptop or on iPhone, I see a repeated list of the Album title, followed by each and every track. SO a 20 track album is listed 20 times under albums and you cannot play the entire album! If I select one of them I can only play a single track - has anyone experienced this? I also can no longer ‘see’ playlists that are on iTunes either. Needless to say all was fine before the App change last year. Can anyone advise please?   

Is there any update on when this will be fixed?  It is possible to play albums on other streaming platforms eg Tidal. It doesn’t make any sense that IDAGIO has been excluded.  Surely this is not a difficult problem to solve.

This error is being generated repeatedly.  Every once in a while it works and indexes my library.  Eventually, the error pops up again and the entry is removed from my Sonos app.  My platform is a Macbook Pro M4 with 128GB of RAM and 8TB of disk.  There is no resource issue.    The networking is solid, with a Netgear Orbi that is within 10 to 15 feet of each speaker.  I’m the only user on the network; there’s no other heavy activity.The SMB share that MacOS provides is accessible (hence the app sometimes works).  The permissions are correct.How can I fix this?  I literally don’t use the Sonos app to play music anymore because this doesn’t work more than half the time.  

Hi, I have Sonos SL one speaker and downloaded the Sonos windows desktop app but not getting an option to setup new system as only getting pop up with two options. Connect to existing system  Learn how to setup which takes me to online sonos website to download app again.  

I have 12 sonos speakers i have rebalance the volume on each seaker everytime i put on music. I dont understand why Sonos cant provide a small selection of presets for people that spent a fair amount moeny on their products??????

It’s 2025, I’m in my 60’s. Can you help with today’s technology? I used Rhapsody over a decade ago but what is the way to make a playlist these days. Subscription okay. Not having luck with Spotify.  My system is old but sounds fantastic...still have operating controller (about the size of a card deck). I really want to make playlists.

Hi, I have only just started using Sonos / YouTube music however have come across a difference in functionality between Android and iOS devices. In the Sonos app, if I navigate to YouTube Music > Library > Songs and select a song to play, it plays that song as expected. The difference is, that on iOS (both iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Pro), it ONLY plays that one song and stops, however on Android it continues to work it’s way down the song list automatically which is what I would expect. Is there a setting to enable “next” to play in iOS? In iOS, a PLAYLIST continues with the next song as expected as does in Android.

Has Sonos restored the ability to add songs to an existing playlist? And can new playlists be created and songs added? 

Hooray! I seem to have my playlists back but no album Artwork, however it does show next to the tracks but not in the main heading space 🤔

Upgraded MacOS to Sequoia and Sonos stopped working. Here is the manner in which I was able to get it working again:Sequoia 15.x.x (in my case 15.3.1) Download / Install latest app from Sonos website Check the following settings before launching the app: Open System Settings Network Firewall Options Make sure Sonos connections are set to “allow incoming connections” Privacy & Security Local Network Make sure Sonos is enabled Start Sonos App If the app can’t detect the Sonos System Reset the Sonos Controller, which forces you to setup the system as if it were for the first time When the app recognizes the Sonos system, if it cannot access the music library that needs to be re-shared: Share your music folder in MacOSOpen System Settings.

Just got a new Sonos Ray and wanted to play music with YouTube Music from my phone, but that wasn’t possible, even with a premium family subscription. So I read a bunch of other support articles, Reddit posts and so on, tried the different suggestions, and nothing works.So I ended up calling support on the phone, they connected to my pc and made YT Music work, but not with the account I have all my playlists on.After hanging up I thought that the issue also were solved on my phone (Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra) but nope, no matter which account I choose, I get the error message “Something went wrong”, but if I choose the only (the wrong account) account that works on the (Windows) Sonos app, it works.So my issue is that I can’t get YT Music to work on Android/phone, which is my primary device for playing music on.

Hi,After the catastrophic crash of the S2 app, I waited a long (long) moment before recalibrating my system (arc+sub+era300) with a friend's IphoneBut I am realising that the trueplay On/Off toggle does not exist anymore on my android App (80.14.06).This is a strong regression for me (and a new disapointment).Does anyone knows if Sonos planned to get it back in Android App ?Regards

How do I play music from my android library through to my sonus speaker

Dipped my toes into the Sonos pool yesterday with a pair of Era 100 speakers.They are used in a study and primarily to play our YouTube Music subscription(s) (we have a family plan).Adding YT music subscription as a source was pretty straight forward, adding a child account wasn't quite so obvious but got there in the end.Something I've noticed is that on both my daughters iPhone and my Samsung, in the Sonos app there is a drop-down option in YT music to choose which YT music account to use (hers or mine) however in the iPad app there is no such option (that I can find). Anyone have a similar setup and know if it's hiding somewhere on the iPad?

Hi, My macbook air is not finding my system but my phone app does but 3 products are not connected on there also.. I have reset everything and initially all lost products connected but dropped out after a couple of minutes.so, I can control remaining 3 products with iphone x (3 products not connected) but macbook cant find anything now. been running fine for last year or so.have done resets and renewed apps.any help would be good

Cant use my plex files on the sonos localy.I get all my speakers from samsung from now on. 

I try to reauthorize and it just keeps asking me over and over again to repeat it even though it says it was completed successfully.

I purchased my Sonos over a year ago, and the first 8-ish months, it worked as expected. Never touched it after setting it up in my gym, and now, it constantly boots my phone off, and fails to reconnect back for over 20 minutes. I am using an iphone 16 pro and a pixel 3, and it seems like the Sonos is just crappy. I've original used my Sonos when my wife and I both had a pixel 2 and the iphone 11. We both upgraded phones, not for the purpose of narrowing down the Sonos speaker, but still, Sonos fails to remain connected when playing music. Is this a know issue with Sonos? I love the quality, but fighting it 6 days a week, restarting both my wifes phone and mine just to make it through a single workout without it disconnecting is getting incredibly tiresome. 

After nearly 5 days of trying every permutation imaginable.  5DAYS!!!!!  I have FINALLY managed to get Sonos to “find” and add my iTunes music folder.  It is on a Synology NAS drive.The Pathname I entered was exactly://my Synology’s IP address/name of folder in there containing iTunes libraryThe username and password were the ones for the Synology drive itself and NOT the one for the DS app Synology Assistant. Good luck to anyone struggling with this nightmare. 

The Sonos YouTube Music plugin successfully plays downloaded Supermix content; however, accessing other service features (Home, New Releases, Library) results in application freezing and a "Something went wrong" error. Coupled with the existing inability to directly cast from the YouTube Music app to Sonos, this renders the YouTube Music service effectively unusable on Sonos devices.

Album art from my personal library displays fine in the mobile app, but not at all in the web app. Is this a known bug or is there a solution?

This is a bug report for the Sonos Android app developers. Using the android app, when adding an old device that requires an update l, the update will fail and you will get an error: 1106  The fix is to borrow an iPhone from someone and set it up with that instead. The update will go through fine in iphone.  

When I try shuffle a playlist with more than around 100 tracks in the Sonos app it malfunctions. The app adds thousands and thousands of tracks, up to 35,000 which are presumably just duplicates of what's in the playlist. And it just shuffles a few tracks from the playlist repeating them over and over. It's impossible to clear the playlist while it's doing this as well. What's going on? Is there a fix?The playlist in the photo actually has around 1800 tracks but by the time I took the screenshot Sonos was already up to 11400 in the queue and was still adding more.
