Upgraded the Sonos Controller for Mac to the latest version. I’m running Sequoia 15.4.1. When I try to access my system, the Controller says it can’t find it and something about firewall. I’m not running a firewall (double checked that). I can control my Sonos system with my mobile app just fine. Any ideas

A quick AI-sourced response for you - it looks like these might be good ideas but you’ll be best placed to judge! - hope it’s helpful…:

  1. Check macOS Privacy & Security Settings:
    • Go to System Settings > Network > Firewall > Options.
    • Even if Firewall is off, check under “Block all incoming connections” and ensure it’s off.
    • Also, make sure Sonos.app (or whatever the app is called) is allowed for incoming connections if it shows up there.
  2. Delete and reinstall the Sonos Mac app:
    • The new installer sometimes glitches if you just update over the old app.
    • Fully delete the Sonos app from Applications.
    • Re-download the latest version fresh from Sonos.com and reinstall.

Thanks, got connected. I think deleting and then reinstalling did the trick.
