Hi just checked today 24th April 2025, I could not find True Play menu in Sonos App for Android, i'm 100% sure i have used it few days ago. Below is the screenshot as a proof

Newer products with inbuilt microphones do an automatic form of Trueplay, but an iPhone is needed for the full-blown form.

Technically, an ‘approved’ iOS device. Some iPads are ‘approved’, not just iPhones.

And the Ray does not do auto Trueplay. Not sure how it is now, but it used to be that if you had Trueplayed a device using an iOS device, you could switch Trueplay on/off with Android.

Phone/Pad microphone characteristics vary model by model and SONOS must calibrate Trueplay individually for each microphone. Since Apple has relatively few models and very good production control, it is practical to customize Trueplay for each Apple model. It’s not practical to tackle the constantly changing Android world.

While I don’t claim to have a wide database to analyze, I do notice that, in my circle, the tech (or ‘cheap’) types tend to use Android and the non tech’s use Apple. The non tech’s are more likely to use SONOS, than the tech’s. I suspect, but have no proof, that the majority of SONOS users have iPhone/iPad.

All of this makes offering “free” Trueplay for iPhone/iPad a practical project, but not so practical for Android. While it would be possible to develop a universal accessory, it would either not be “free” or the costs would need to be shared (increased) by all speakers. Automatically including this accessory with each purchase would result in an accumulation of Trueplay accessories in a drawer — much like our accumulation of USB power supplies.

Thanks for all replies. I only use Android app if the tuning in IOS app doesn't work.

I found out that in my Android app, i have True Play option just in Arc Ultra and Era 100, but not in Beam Gen 2,  Ray and Sonos One.

In IPad IOS, true play option is available in every devices.

I guess, the True Play option in Android has been enabled recently and only cover new model: Arc Ultra, Era 100 and Era 300.
