Hello. I own:1x One. In room a.1x Arc in room b2x Era 100 in room c as stereo couple. When I open the Sonos App in my iphone I see either room a and b, but not room c.When I “kill” the App in the iphone and open it again, it shows me only room c, but not room a and b.When I “kill” the App again and open it again, it shows again room and b only.This means I can switch what I see every time I kill and restart the App. But I never see all rooms with all devices at once.Any idea? What I really want to do is to add the 2x Eras and the Arc in one room, but this is not possible due to the problem. I never see them together. I also don´t see them together when I put them in the same room on the app. Additional info:All rooms can be seen at the same time by my Apple Macbook. Also, all devices are visble at the Alexa App.As Access Point and Router I use a Unify Dream Router. I already rebooted this router while the Sonos devices where unplugged and re-plugged them one after the other.Also, the r

Looking for some guidance on a non Sonos issue from gurus here: In a TP link access point that is ethernet wired back to a Apple Time Capsule base station, DHCP is disabled, and everything in the served space works fine, including Sonos/Firestick/Phones/Computer, with Sonos in WiFi mode. TP link model WA 850 RE. Now for another device being added in the space, a HomePod mini, I see some recommendations of giving it a static IP address for stability. Question therefore is how/where is this done? By making changes in the app that is used to set up the access point? Or, back in the apple base station?Appreciate any guidance. I now recall an earlier discussion here, but that was in the context of Sonos compatibilty which also brings me to a follow up question: My Sonos set up is all wired back to the same base station and is rock solid. Hi!I am currently spec’ing out a wireless system that meets some slightly odd standards and curious if Sonos can meet these needs. I am working with spatialized audio that is not packaged in the standard formats and is sent via separate outputs.I am looking to send 8-16 induvial mono outputs from an audio interface to corresponding Sonos speakers. In short.. is there a way to send multiple inputs to a Sonos system? Or is there a route that would enable me to use a Sonos system in this way?  

This is not a question - but just sharing my experience.  I have recently updated my wifi with mesh and the older sonos components wouldnt connect despite numerous factory resets and scratching of head.  Each time I went through the process to add older items - it failed at the last step when it tried to add to the LAN.  The reason was the mesh system had its own DCHP server hidden in the settings.  Once this was disabled (put into access point mode) I was able to connect.I had originally put this down to Wifi 6 compatibility I hope this helps others

Hi All!  Working on helping a customer move some music.  I’ve setup a Buffalo LS210D NAS drive connected to the SONOS system.  This music is being moved to this drive from an older iMac that is having issues.  I got the NAS drive setup on the router with a static IP address so it will always find it.   I went into the SONOS app and put that NAS drive into the music library setup. The music is in a shared folder on that Buffalo NAS drive.  It works like a champ.  We can see and play the music in the music library.  Here is the problem.  I started by just placing a small amount of music in there to set it up and make sure it works.  Now when I add more music to the NAS drive the app does not see that newly added music when we go to try and play it.  The previous music is there and plays fine. I can delete that from the Music Library Setup in the SONOS app and add it back again the same way it was and it sees the new music.  Below is the syntax of the setup.  All music that is added is ad

I have had a few forum discussions ongoing.  Short summary is that SonosNet doesn’t work for me because playing an Apple Music song everywhere (9 zones over ~21 nodes) just crumbles.  Totally unusable.  When I use home wifi mode, music plays great but HDMI live sources are unusable.There really needs to be a setting to forcefully disable SonosNet.  When I use a hybrid approach with some devices plugged into Ethernet and wifi on, the system always switches back to SonosNet.  The problem is, to take one example, my Amp.  It pushes live audio sources out to other zones, but has to do a minimum of 2 hops.  Once to Orbi over home wifi, and then again to the other speaker.  If not a third hop over the wireless backhaul.  This makes no sense at all.  Why can’t Amp push its data out over Ethernet and avoid the first slow/unnecessary hop?Or if SonosNet mesh could interoperate with a mesh WiFi system without making the network unstable, that would work too.  I’m bringing this up because I still

Hi,Since I proceeded to an S2 App update couple of months ago (Android 13, Pixel 7), now the list view is always triggered at the opening. This is very frustrating because I only use the widget on my home screen to directly jump on my device to manage streamed content... But I land on this useless list view (I never used it on my daily uses). Before that update, I was opening the app on the device control view. Is it possible to revert this behavior? Thanks for your help,Mike

Trying to play music from Library.Song will play about five seconds - through some, not all, of the selected speakers. Then it will skip to the next and do the same. Sometimes for four songs, sometimes for five.Then it will stop and return one of two messages:Unable to find file (and provide an address that is absolutely findable on all other networked devices) WiFi connection “unstable”I spent about a grand last October upgrading every part of my network to avoid this problem, and it has returned.I am playing the files through a Synology NAS DiskStation, that is wired into my router.I have a Play 3 wired into my router, and in the same room - with direct line of sight, less than twelve feet away - another Play 3 and a Connect. Hello Does anybody knows if the secondary stage of this system is 24v dc or 12v dc?I would like to install this system in a boat with 24v dc.

I’ve recently got hold of a Sonos Boost to use with my existing system of 8 Sonos products.I connected the power and Ethernet cable as required. I then pressed the join button which causes the light to flash orange. after about 10 seconds the light goes white again. The app is not giving me any indication that the Boost is actually connected and working. There are no promps to add it to my system and the literature I can find online is not helpful as this relates mostly to the old app version. Can you give me any advice?Thanks! 

Am new to Sonos and Sub Gen 3 is on its way. Am wondering if setting the crossover for the sub works the same as setting the crossover in a processor/preamp i.e. set to 80 Hz and no speaker will play lower than 80 Hz other than the sub.OR with Sonos, will only the sub play up to whatever frequency is set as the crossover and the rest of the speakers will play down to their Hz limits? i.e. sub set to 80 Hz and inceiling speakers can play to 40 Hz. Will inceiling speakers only play down to 80 Hz like in a traditional processor/preamp setting? Or will they play down to 40 Hz?

Currently I have 110,365 songs available in my library. The way I got around the limit is to mirror the entire folder structure of my music library ,but in this case each album subfolder contains a playlist “.m3u” file that  referencesthe absolute path and filename of the original songs. Normally this would be an exhaustive taskthat no sane person would attempt. I recently moved to an apartment. Each apartment has its own ceiling mounted Cisco AP. All AP’s have five (5) SSID’s, one of which is for devices unable to supply a username along with the password. That SSID uses a pre-configured MAC address to permit access. The Arc attempts to connect to the first SSID it finds and that isn’t the SSID with the MAC address. I have no way to force the ARC to connect to the correct SSID. I’m thinking I need a bridge of some sort, have the ARC connect to the bridge, and configure the bridge to connect to the correct SSID. Does this sound like a viable solution? Any recommendation for a specific product?

I noticed that my sonos player can display current track info for PLS Streams, but not for HLS streams. Is there a way to make it work for HLS streams too? What needs to happen on the broadcasting end and/or the SMAPI end to display current track info?

Examining a choice for Sonos upgrade and wondering about the following set-up in the main living room:-Arc and Sub-mini for TV AV or possibly Sub if Sub Mini is not a good match for the Arc.Amp to deliver music to conventional speakers. My question is can a single Sonos sub be made to work (seamlessly) with the Arc when watching TV (80% of use) and then work with music from the Amp when listening to Sonos music (TV switched off).I see that neither Sonos sub has a wired subwoofer audio input, so I wonder if this is not possible.I do have a hi-fi style subwoofer which could easily be used with the AMPbut I then end up with two subs in the living room. That is unless the ARC is good enough to be used on it’s own without any additional sub (which seems like a compromise to me).Thanks as always for the great advice and experience shared here.

Hi,I am setting up a new Sonos-system with Arc, 2xETA300 and Sub. My Sony-TV only has HDMI with ARC, not eARC and therefore I only get 5.1 to the soundbar. I use Netflix and Viaplay on a AppleTV (4K).My question is: Is it possible to get Atmos to the soundbar with this equipment? I see that some people says that the Hdfury Arcana-adapter will solve this, has anyone in the forum tried this?  

Hi, I have two Move-s in stereo pair which are working great. I would sometimes like to use one of the speakers in bluetooth mode (connected to Iphone). When I use left speaker (from stereo pair) in bluetooth mode everything works great. However, when I try to use right speaker in bluetooth mode, it connects to Iphone, but no there is no sound.   I have tried to factory reset that speaker, and the problem persisted. I have also tried to separate stereo pair, then both speakers were working in bluetooth mode (separately of course) without a problem. I have also tried to switch left/right speakers when creating stereo pair, and then the other speaker was not working in bluetooth mode.   Does anybody have similar experience? I have read a ton of threads on various access point issues and nothing seems to be helping.I have a network with a main wireless network (Ch11) and a TP Link EAP-610 Outdoor AP (Ch1). The AP works for other devices and has the same SSID password etc.. Auto stuff, fairness and all those things are disabled. I have 2 AMPs One is hardwired to the network and works fine.  The second amp won’t set up properly it won’t set up on the AP I set it it up wired, and it connects just fine to the main wireless.  When I move it to the APs location, it seems to not connect at all and the app can’t find it Thoughts?
