I cannot connect my sonos system to apple music anymore after a change of my apple password. Everytime i try to add apple music in my sonos app of my android device and select existing apple account a blanc page shows up and no further interaction is possible

I'm trying (and failing) to get my Alexa-enabled Sonos One to play music through my other Sonos speakers (six in all). I've set up a group on the Alexa app (whole house), added devices (all Sonos speakers), added my Alexa device (Sonos One), selected “always” so I don't have to specify each room … and when I ask Alexa to play music it only plays on my Sonos One, the rest of the speakers are silent.I've seen lots of references to setting a preferred speaker but can only find this option on the Sonos One settings and my choices are either “built-in speaker" or, under wifi speakers, my Sonos speaker in the Living Room. The option “Let Alexa choose: Alexa will select speakers in the Whole house ...” is greyed out. Clicking on “Learn more" tells me to go to Devices, select the group I want to change, go to the Preferred Speaker section - and that's where I get stuck, I can't find the Preferred Speaker section.Can anyone help, please. So, our TV in the bedroom shares a wall with the nursery.  Is there a way to only play TV audio out of Sonos One Speaker pair set up as rears to be bedside, and mute the Beam under the TV?  We are concerned about sound keeping our baby awake at night.

I know that there is a lot of topic about, but I am not able to make my Sonos Playbase to work with my computer.  I bought an OPTICAL CABLE, it is connected I can see the light at end, plug into the playbase and nothing.

I am having trouble connecting to my Sonos Roam. My husband just got it for me and I was able to connect after opening it. But I could only listen to music in Sonos App. When I try to connect via Bluetooth, I hold the power button for over 5 minutes and still the light does not show up. Then after trying that it did not connect to my WiFi anymore. I reset my router but now I cannot connect. I hold down the play and forward button like instructed in the set up, but still nothing connects. Should I just take it back to the store and get a JBL or something?

Hello - I have an AMP inside the house that wires through the walls to two outdoor speakers R+L and I was wondering if I can connect these wirelessly to my Samsung Terrace TV. Is there some sort of transmitter that will allow me to do this without having to purchase a weatherized Sonos soundbar to wirelessly connect them together? Best,Chris 

Not sure when this happened but I am not able to access all the music on my hard drive. It’s there, I can see it. It was buried way deep in a sub-directory so I moved it to a more accessible location. How do I tell Sonos where it is? I don’t really care why it got lost as long as I can get access to it again!!(I;m on an iMac running several Play1s and a Move.)ThanksMarc

Hi All, I am about to replace my existing Rotel Amp with a Sonos AMP and wanted to clarify my intended configuration first please.I am going to exchange my existing Connect via the discount programme for the AMP.   This room already had two passive speakers and a TV connected to a Sonos Beam via HDMI, but isn’t set up as a 4.0 system.  Which is what i’d prefer while i ponder buying a Sonos Sub.Should I go ahead and by the AMP, do i need to run the HDMI ARC to the new Sonos AMP or can i leave it connected to the Beam via HDMI ARC and let my Wifi and the Sonos app sort out the surround?  I’ll be connecting my passive speakers directly to the AMP.  (To run either ethernet - which i think was needed on the connect, or HDMI i’d need at least 8 meters of HDMI which makes me nervous). Thoughts please and let me know if the above isn’t clear and I can provide a diagram. Cheers,James

I’m using an LG OLED55B6 TV with HDMI ARC output to HDMI input of Sonos Amp. The Sonos Amp powers L&R passive front speakers and is also connected to Sonos Sub 3 and 2x Play Ones as rear surround speakers.Using a Dolby 5.1 source from Apple TV 4K fed to TV via HDMI 1 I can only get ‘PCM Stereo’ shown on S2 App, confirmed by the Play Ones outputting  the same signals as the L&R front.Sonos CS tell me that with passives connected as front channel, the Sonos Amp will only operate in 2.1 mode. Before returning the kit to Sonos, has anyone managed to get a Sonos Amp working in 5.1 or, more accurately, 4.1 since it has a ‘phantom’ centre front?Any advice or comments would be much appreciated! All the research I did prior to purchase indicated that 5.1 was possible with this configuration.Many thanks,Melchet.

i have a lot of drop out from some speakers using Spotify with the errors “unable to play song - the connection to spotify was lost” and also unable to add titles to queue. THe first 15 seconds of the song will play and then stop. i also get an error saying the wifi is unstable but i am running on sonosnet with some hardired speakersWifi channel is set to 11 with sonos net set to channel 1. i have tried moving the speakers or swapping speakers between rooms but the error still exists. Up to a month ago i had no issues. I dont want to invest in a boost unless i know that it will solve the issue. As far as i can see hardwiring a speaker and having a boost should perform the same.i have submitted a diagnostics report 1607533454

HiI have a number of Gen 2 and Gen 1 devices. As a number of my gen 1 devices are fine, I refuse to just scrap them to move to the full app.Up until recently, everything was working fine. I have been using the gen 1 app and have both gen 1 and 2 items working fine.  3 of the gen 2 items had alexa integrated in them.Then over the weekend for some reason my sonos app lost all my devices bar 1.  A quick power reset didn't work so I had to manually reset and connect them again (pain). Now I have all the items back, but I can't get Alexa working on the 3 devices.When I go to add the voice control in the gen 1 app I keep getting a “there was a problem adding alexa” issue. The voice contol button on the sonos devices won't turn on and I can't enable the voice control.I've tried deregistering all the devices on Amazon, deleting the skills in Alexa, but still have the same issue.  The fact that the Alexa app can connect to them tells me that its an issue on the Sonos side.Has anyone any ideas o

hi there this is my 1st post i currently own a sonos arc 2 one sl and sonos sub i also have a samsung qled q90r 2019 model tv and this tv has been promised earc update for almost 2 years nowwell today the update for the tv came in version number 1387.1 however now when i turn on the earc mode which wasnt there before from off to auto my sonos will not produce any sound at all until i switch it back off,on a seperate tv thread other users with samsung soundbars and various av receivers like yamaha and such all can turn this option on and benefit from the earc featureshowever those of us on the same forum with sonos sound systems can get nothing so far could this please be looked into with an update and if anything needs trialed or tested i am up for doing so thanks

Hello,I recently purchased HDFURY ARCANA. I connected my Apple  tv 4k(latest) to Sonos arc for audio and BENQ TK850 Projector for video. Both with ultra high speed HDMI cables. Everything works well but I am not able to control my SONSOS ARC volume with apple remote anymore. Without ARCANA( if I connect my Apple TV  to benq and use it’s eARC to SONOS ARC, I could control the volume. Is there any fix for this remote problem?Note: Benq TK850 eARC supports only two channel stereo so it’s not really a true eARC.

Is there any plan / ETA to have line-in on a Sonos Amp / Port as an Airplay 2 source so that I can listen to my turntable also on my homepods mini?

Even when i Am sure that im listening dolby atmos ,in sonos app appears only 5.1,so i need to go to the arc then i unplug it, wait for a minute and finally appears Dolby Atmos in sonos App, after three hours… dolby atmos is leaving again, its so frustrating, thanks for your help!!

Hi,Hi, Been using Virgin Media V6 with a Beam and Ones for surround.  No issues at all. Virgin recently upgraded firmware to their V360. Since then, I have dialogue synch issues. Some channels it’s hardly noticeable and other channels are unwatchable. Virgin have no idea. Sonos support ran diagnostics and said there were no issues.Turned off Dolby (Virgin forum suggestion) but it made no difference.Anyone got similar problems?

So disappointed with my Sonos. Cannot connect via the app. Always says "cannot find existing Sonos system" .Yet a scheduled playlist I set up years ago on Plex still regularly plays at 7:30 everyday. How is it that Plex can connect to Sonos without a hitch to but the official Sonos app fails. I had plans on buying a Sonos for every room of my house, but that would be a waste of my time and money.I have tried Sonos support and I'm tired of being told it's my WiFi that is the problem. I have superb WiFi.  The app fails to connect even when I plug a network cable directly.You have lost my business Sonos. Congratulations on your total failure. 

Over the past few weeks I have had a number of issues appear with my Sonos system. I have tried resetting, reconnecting, moving, wiring in, and a # of other remedies hoping to fix these issues. (Please note these are all related to trying to play music, my soundbase connected directly to the TV never has issues). I have 3 Ones, a Play:5, and a SoundbaseAirplay is unable to connect to the Sonos (sometimes) - it just spins, and spins, and spins and then says it cannot connect Once I am connected to a speaker it is almost guaranteed it will drop connection in the first 5-10 minutes. If I am able to reconnect, it will not happen again Occasionally, if #1 or #2 happens, I can go straight into the Sonos app on my phone and see the speakers and play that way without issue. HOWEVER, sometimes I cannot even see my speakers through here, and it give me the “Lets fix it!” prompt like it wants a new network. If I do this, it finds all 5 of my speakers. I have done this multiple times, and nothing

Ever since the last update a couple weeks ago,  my beam (gen 1) no longer automatically selects my TV as its source. Prior to the update, whenever I switched input on my tv, my beam would continue to stream audio from my TV seamlessly, eg switching from freeview to nvidia shield would not affect the audio output. But now, everytime I switch input, my beam deselects TV as the source, causing the audio output to stop. I then have to open up the slow-loading app and manually select TV as the source. This happens everytime i switch input, and the only way to get back audio is through the app. Am I doing something wrong/is there a way to fix this? Its very inconvenient 

I have a music library on an external USB drive to a Samsung Galaxy tablet. I have just “upgraded” to Sonos S2. Now when I want to “Add Shared Music Folder” to the Music Library Setup, it no longer gives me an option to browse, I can only fill in a box that wants an address string for the folder.Whatever I try for the folder, I only get the response that “The computer ……. cannot be found”. I am guessing at the folder path so I assume that it is wrong, but it may be right and I have some enable/disable settings wrong on the tablet which is what much of the frequent problem advice seems to suggest.What should the folder address be so I at least start with that correct? \\Galaxy Tab A (2018, 10.5)\Tablet\USB Storage 1\Music\ is a typical failure.  

I have two annoying problems with my Sonos speakers since we have moved house.Setup:Room 1 Living Room: Sonos Beam + Sub + 2 One (5.1 setup) Room 2: Kitchen: Sonos They all work via WiFi and are directly connected to my router (so no Sonos AMP).Problem 1: TruePlayI used TruePlay in my former home and because we moved house I needed to setup TruePlay again for my Living Room 5.1 setup. I first disabled TruePlay and then tried to setup TruePlay again. The procedure goes fine until I try to finalize the setup and then I get an error and am unable to complete the procedure due to an error. I have tried resetting all Sonos speakers, reset my Router, changed the WiFi SSID, tried disconnecting Bluetooth devices from my iPhone, tried another iPhone. But nothing seems to work to get TruePlay working again.Any idea how I can solve this problem?Problem 2: Rooms keep re-arranging and 5.1 keeps disconnectingSince a week every day my speakers keep getting a new room assigned. I currently have a play 3 in my bedroom and it’s great for music.  I’m going to upgrade the sound on my TV so I’ve considered buying a Beam.  How is the Beam compared to the Play 3 for music? If I buy a beam I will move the Play 3 to another room.  Will the sound quality for music on the Beam be comparable to the Play 3?  If not I’ll just buy a lower cost sound bar for the TV and keep the Play 3 for music.Thanks

Hello; I’m using a Samsung TAB A for my Sonos 2 controller, version 13.3. I want to upgrade to a Windows 10 or 11 Surface Pro 7 Notebook, so will the Sonos 2 controller load and work on a WIN  10 or 11 device? The online results are contradictory & not clear, nothing new there! Thanks, Stef 11

I’ve noticed that our Roam stereo pair occasionally breaks every wk or 2 and forces us to re-pair them. Any idea why this is? Are they turning themselves off to save power and then forgetting their st. pair? Anyone else experience this?
