I got a new Sonos system (arc + sub + 2x one sl)Got everything setup and was disappointed with the sub sound… until I heard the sounds from TV movies and music via Apple TV (routed through TV). TV output is the old arc, DTS 5.1.Comparing the same songs: the bass is so much deeper and present thought TV dan from the sonos app, or airplay. I tried al lot (enabling/disabling trueplay, playing with IQ, sub placement, ambient/full setting etc…) Nothing changes the massive difference. Via the app, I have to do my best to hear the difference between sub on or off. Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong? Or what might help… thnx

Hello,  I’ve seen the same question in this forum but all threads that I clicked on have been closed so I’m starting a new one because this is a new issue for me that just started occurring about a week ago. I have tried solutions suggested on the Sonos website and in the closed threads but nothing works.I have been using my current set up for over 6 months. Nothing has changed in terms of new equipment in the house or any new potential interference. I have very strong wifi with a booster and today’s download speed is 531Mbps. I have restarted my router, removed Spotify from Sonos and re-added it. I can play music directly from Spotify to my Sonos speakers without an issue but every time I use the Sonos app to play from Spotify I experience issues from the get go. It won’t even play one song. Stops after a few seconds, skips to the next song, another few seconds of sound, then skips again and so on. The message I get from Sonos app is that my wifi is unstable - that is false. I check m

Display of album artwork in the Android app for my local music library is very erratic. The library is stored on my Synology NAS. I have 100% of my album artwork embedded in the files, in sufficiently small-sized jpg. Also, I have a folder.jpg in almost every album folder. None of the jpg artwork is progressive.I've done a lot of experimentation with this subject, and have found:Album art sometimes shows up in the app, but often doesn't. (In the Windows desktop app, all artwork shows up all the time, as it does in Windows Explorer.) Some albums are often displayed with their artwork, others are often displayed without, but almost all albums are shown with artwork at least some of the time. There is no relation that I can detect between the size of the folder.jpg, or the size of the embedded artwork, and the display of the artwork in the Android app, nor with the number of tracks. Albums at the top of the alphabetical album list in the app are most often shown without their artwork. Alm

So weird. The PC app keeps asking me to search for updates.I do that and update it.It says done Reverts to asking for me to search for updates I still cannot connect to my system through the PC app I CAN connect on the iPad or iPhone app  NB: PC is wired to my network, not Wi-Fi All my components are S2Please help!

I submitted diagnostic report 1875321058.I have a Nest wifi mesh system, one router hardwired to the modem, an IP switch to which I have two additional Nest Wifi points hardwired and one additional wireless Nest WiFi extender. I have a gen 1 playbar wired to my main router through the IP switch, and the rest is all connected through the SonosNet via that product (Sub, Sub, Arc, Beam, Move).I've had this system (all but the Port) hooked up for over a year and I've never had any connection issues, song drops, product drops, etc. I just recently bought the Port to hook through an old receiver and speakers I inherited.Every time I try to play music through the Port the product just stops like 30 seconds in and disappears from my system and does a reset.  I've tried connecting it directly to one of the downstream routers, changing the compression, and changing to channel 11.I still continue to have absolutely zero issues on any of my other products, and I'm feeling lost.

I’ve recently invested in a Sonos system and am about to send it all back. I bought Sonos specifically because it CLAIMS to work with Plex. I don’t subscribe to streaming music services because I have spent a lifetime accumulating my own collection/library. I can view, browse, and begin playback of my music but then Sonos often skips tracks all together saying they cannot be accessed. When this behavior happens it will skip multiple tracks. Sometimes half way through a track it’ll skip to the next one without finishing the one I was just listening to. I have tested that all the tracks work. I can play all of them directly from my computer, any of the plex apps on my network or remotely. I use Plex in my car all the time with no issues. This happens whether I’m trying to play from the Sonos app OR if I try casting from Plex to Sonos within my home network. This problem is most certainly a Sonos problem. Additionally, when I am playing music from my Plex server on my own network, the ple

Will Sonos One work the Sonos Arc far as surrond sound?

Hi.When I play songs on Amazon Music Unlimited I get the following encoding error messages (below):  I assume it is to do with my Internet connection even though I have a fibre optic connection rated at 150 Mbps. The only way I can get the songs to play without errors is to connect to my smartphone with my Sky Q digibox via Bluetooth.Has anyone got any idea of what is going on?Cheers. My system consists of a Sonos Arc soundbar and a Sonus Sub (Gen 3)

I have a Bose Lifestyle 35 with outdoor speakers and I would like to replace it with a Sonos system.  I understand that Sonos doesn’t have bundles and has mix and match, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.  It looks like the Arc soundbar is what I will be getting, but other than that I haven’t the foggiest of what else.  I’ll have the home theater in one room which I would surround sound, while in another room I would like speakers for music as well as outdoor speakers for music.  My current outdoor speaker wires are not very good and would either replace them or have wireless outdoor speakers.  I’d like to be able to play music via Alexa and Apple Music.

I just added a Sonos Move to my Sonos home Wi-Fi system. I took the speaker away from my home, connected an iPhone to it via Bluetooth and performed a Zoom meeting. I wasn’t able to control the volume of the speaker via the side buttons so I tried to connect to it via the Sonos application for iOS. However, the application displayed a “WiFi isn’t connected” error. Is there a way to manage a Sonos Move via the Sonos application when it is connected via Bluetooth and a cellular data connection? Otherwise how can this issue of controlling the volume be resolved?

As a good couple of folks before me on this forum, I’ve started to experience a crackle on my Sonos Beam. It seems it came up sone, with no real change to my setup no usage at particularly loud volumes (in fact the system is capped at 60% in the settings). It is showing up when watching through a TV app (Samsung KS8000). Have walked through the common troubleshooting steps. I also submitted diagnostic with ID 1590603626. Anything that can be spied from the logs that might help me resolve this new crackle?

So a bit of context here, I’ve got two young children and we play them white noise on our Sonos to help them sleep. One of them has a Play:1, the other has a Sonos One (Gen 2).When we stop the audio using the button on top of the Play:1, we can just press play again and it continues. When we try and do the same on the Sonos One, it doesn’t have the track in the queue and we have to go through the app to select the audio again and get it playing, which can be a problem for babysitters or sometimes my technophobe wife! Both are playing the same track, which is hosted on my NAS and is on repeat and crossfade.I have been through the settings on both and can't find anything obvious. There is no issue with playing the track, just the Sonos One clears the queue when stopped.I should also say I have a Play:3 as well which works the same as the Play:1, no issue there. Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi there,I have recently discovered Amazon Music Unlimited’s Atmos music offerings (as well as its Ultra HD). In my living room, I have a Beam Gen 2 + Connect Amp (S2) connected to some ceiling speakers acting as surrounds. If I play Atmos content to just this setup via Amazon Music on the Sonos App, “Atmos” is clearly displayed in the app showing that the content is, indeed, playing in Atmos. However, if I “group” our kitchen speakers (Play 1s) with the ones in the living room, the display changes to HD. Now I know that Play 1s max out at HD quality, but does this mean that the entire stream has downgraded to HD as a result of grouping? Or will the Living Room speakers continue to play in Atmos quality (despite what the display says)?I guess part of this answer depends on how the speakers and stream interfaces, and it’s beyond my understanding. I suspect the whole stream does indeed get downgraded to HD, which is a shame for those of us with open plan configurations, but would be grea

Hi,My speakers go silent every other minute or second and then continue to play the music. It is not all speakers at the same time, some keep playing while others go silent. This is a problem since many years but that has increased lately and is at its peak at this very moment.

Please get this sorted out. We have been loyal sonos customers for ten years or so and add a new speaker annually. You must be able to keep youtube playing at the same level by now. I have faith that your brilliant techs can do it. Give it to us please!  Some videos/ audio plays at a mumble then the next blasts on at stadium concert level. Please keep them at the same volume we set our speakers. I know you can do it   This is ridiculously annoying. Thank you for your help

Cannot get beam to play dolby atmos, constantly says Stereo PCM in the app.Running demos on YouTube and content on Rakuten.Tried all options in settings but not changing. Has anyone else come across this problem.Sonos say its the TV and Philips just take away the issue and look into it.TIA

I will be moving to Australia from Canada. I know we have different power cycles and I can use my Sonos equipment on their power but where can I buy the replacement power cords? Thanks for any info.

I have Apple TV 4K and the Sonos Surround Set (ARC not Playbar). My TV is a Sony Bravia 4K (KD 55X8509C) from 2015.I know that I won't be able to get Dolby Atmos until I either upgrade my TV or buy an HD Fury Arcana. However, when I first got my Sonos set, I could get Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1 on Apple TV 4K (on Disney Plus, Netflix etc). Now, everything plays in Stereo PCM. I haven't changed any of the settings. I've used the same content as I did when I got DD2.0 and 5.1.Any ideas? What's going on?

Can an arc be installed vertically?

Does Trueplay saves after pulling the plug of Sonos Arc? Or a retuning is required?  Asking the question as I had pulled the plug to switch my sonos arc off to reset it to “reactivate” the airplay. The app still shows the trueplay has been set though.  Thanks!

Hi there.I use my Sonos Amp as a multimedia amplifier, it is connected on my TV through HDMI ARC and it works pretty well, it auto plays the TV when it detects the HDMI signal. In some occasion I would like to use a bluetooth headphone directly connected to my TV and stop using the Sonos Amp.How is it possible to temporary stop the Sonos Amp?

I am trying to add a Roam to my system. My S2 app tells me that it needs to be udpated, but when I “update sonos app”, it takes me to the Play Store app page.  I have the latest version. When I select “More Information”, the help pages refer to OS 14.0.  That version is not in the play store available to me.As a result, I am not able to install my Roam.  Please advise.

I have two playbars (amongst other units) that both show up in Sonos app that work fine. However, when I log into my account on Sonos.com only one of them show up. All of my other equipment, Move, Roam, Amp x 2, Connect x 2, Sub, and Boost all show up. Anyone know why my 2nd Playbar doesn’t and how to get it to appear?

Hello all!i bought ARC + SUB + 2x ONE SL and they works as surround system.Few months ago i added to my system 2x Sonos Move. I’m not able to configure them as an entire sound system. i would like to watch tv (using Move so that i can take them on my sofa) or listen music in all the living room. I’m fighting with the app, removing/adding rooms, no way!someone with my same setup?best regards

Is there any way to have different levels of surround volume when streaming Atmos and normal stereo tracks?  At present I listen to music with my rear speakers set to ‘full’ and the surround volume set at +5, however, when I’m playing atmos mixes the music becomes unbalanced as I’ve gone from essentially 2 stereo speakers turned up a bit to the surround channels overpowering a different mix.  if there isn’t a workaround then what’s the possibility of a separate option to be added so that atmos music surrounds can default to a different volume than stereo ‘full’ surrounds? I know it’s a minor thing but it’s quite annoying to have a mixed list and have to alter levels for individual tracks manually, especially as there’s no good way to not play atmos versions when there are any.
