Hello, so I have a newer TV (less than 1 year old) and stream with an Amazon Firestick. I recently added a Beam and noticed my TV screen intermittently goes black for a second or two. When I unplug the Bean from the Arc HDMI port the tv works just fine. I also noticed if I’m watching a movie it’s paused after the screen blinks black. I have tried a new HDMI cable and same thing. I used to have the Firestick in the Arc HDMI port snd it worked just fine before installing the Beam. Like I said I can turn the problem on and off by simply unplugging the HDMI cable from the Beam, but in doing so I did notice that when I plug an HDMI cable into the beam the TV screen goes black for a second or two as well. Any thoughts what might be causing is?

On the web it says yes, but the application tells me that it is not available in my country, do I do something wrong?

I have an older amp that doesn’t show up in my account / profile.  So I can’t use the upgrade program.  How can I get this component into my account ?

Hi,I just started using Sonos Speaker One Gen 2 than i made quick research for the Dolby atmos and so and so than i remark i need buy Sonos Beam Gen 2 or Sonos Arc products but i have a complicated problem :(As i understood Sonos Beam Gen2 or Sonos Arc doesn’t provide Dolby Atmos via AirPlay 2 so i have projection setup at my home and it’s cell mounted with no ARC Support ? as i understood i can connect my apple tv4K directly to sonos beam 2 or sonos arc than as a out to my projection hdmi ? even my projection doesn’t support ARC hdmi ?Isn’t it any solution for Wireless Dolby Atmos AirPlay 2 or something like that ?

Hello,If I attempt to play Amazon music or Sirius/XM or tune-in, my system continuously cuts out and jumps songs.  If I play spotify, which I dropped my premium subscription, it plays fine.  It seems that only spotify will play without issues.  Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

I called 2x today to support because my 27 Sonos speakers have somehow all disconnected from my UniFi network.  Both times level 2 support was involved / basically telling me to contact UniFi .  The problem has nothing to do with UniFi - only Sonos among 450 devices on my four Wi-Fi networks has a problem.   Thanks for nothing Sonos / I failed to even get an email response after they promised to provide one.  

Dearest employees at Sonos,I can’t state how frustrated I got when I realized, after purchasing a pair of Sonos One (which a friend of mine brought from the US) and connecting to my place in São Paulo, that I could not use the voice assistant Alexa. The cost of the speakers was R$2.3k (which is the equivalent of two monthly minimum wages in my country), too expensive for it not to have this capability.I have seen many people desiring exactly that functionality in the forums here at your website. Hi there,Hoping someone can help me out with this seemingly random problem that occurred over the weekend - I have not made any changes to my system.I have my music library stored on an old HP ProLiant server in my office running Windows Home Server 2011 - I have been doing this since my first Sonos purchase in 2014 and it has been almost completely problem-free. The server isn’t set up to do anything fancy other than store my music library and allow me to stream to the Sonos speakers around the house.Having checked before posting this (wary of the file limit to Sonos libraries), my library is formed of a single folder of 478GB, with multiple sub-folders. Windows Explorer tells me that it is made up of 32,428 individual files spread across 2,480 folders.I allow the Sonos system to index my Music Library every night at 2am and this has been the setup since I first purchased a Play:3 in 2014. Since installing my Beam 2 I have found that there is a slight, but annoying, delay between screen picture and voice sounds.  This didn’t happen before. Is there a cure?  Thanks for any advice you can give. John. 

Hello I have question I have an Apple TV 4K 2021 and LG C1, and connected to sonos playbase with surround and sub. When I play YouTube from LG webos the Sonos app shows Dolby digital 2.0 and it sounds louder and better while I play the same YouTube content from Apple TV YouTube app the sonos app shows as stereo pcm and I have to increase the volume to match the webos app. The same happens for curiosity stream and other apps as well. Is there a way to get the Dolby digital 2.0 on the Apple TV ? Many thanks

I have an Amazon Fire TV Cube with a HDMI connection to a projector.  I would like to connect my Playbar (which has an Optical Audio) but the Amazon Fire TV Cube does not have an Optical Audio connection.  So from the Fire TV I would like send the video to the projector and the audio to the Playbar. Is that possible?Thanks in advance. 

What happens to components that are “upgraded”? I notice people are selling them 2nd hand, but is it even possible to connect an upgraded component to a S1-system? I thought they would be rendered useless, as CR100 a few years ago.Or will they work on every other system but mine since I made the upgrade?Or will they still work, even on my own system if S1?There was a long text if I clicked “upgraded” but nothing on this as far as I could tell so I clicked cancel again.

Hi All,I have some oddities with my two setups. One is NVidia Shield 2019 connected to LG OLED B8, and then to an Arc. The other is a 4K Firestick connected an old Samsung LCD, and then to a Beam.I have a load of movies on Plex, and generally all good other then AAC 5.1 sound tracks not playing as 5.1 on the Arc; playback will only go through as 2.0 PCM. This is consitent from the Shield and also a 4k Firestick. All AC3 soundtracks are fine. DTS won’t play at all.On the Beam the AAC 5.1 plays fine as Dolby Digital 5.1 and also plays DTS as the same (transcoding).Other than convert the files from AAC to AC3, is there a way to sort this out for the Arc? I can play from the Plex app on the TV and all is ok, but the LG TV apps are clunky and slow and I’d rather avoid using them.Thanks

Imo this is a bug and not a feature.The Roam is from what I understand, by design, waking up when the Sonos client/app is put to the foreground. When awoken the battery starts to drain, resulting in the orange led flashing every other day or so.My issues:Imo auto-wake should be a setting, most people are happy to press the buttons instead Auto-sleep is clearly not working or the wake/sleep/wake sequence needs allot of power optimizations In our household the two roams also wake due to background activity of the Sonos app, so without actually opening the Sonos app. Not sure if this is related to activity of our 5.1 ARC setup? I need to reset the Roam pair as stereo-pair everytime this happens. 

It’s a weird one but in the last month or so the surrounds and sub connected to my arc, keep dropping and I end up with “?” Listed in the system  its ONLY the ones connected to the arc, no the ones connected to a beam. The system is near a Google WiFi mesh router and is set to connect via WiFi as opposed to SonosNet. if I reboot the speakers, they work again, if I restart the WiFi, they work again too. I have tried dhcp reservations for the arc, surrounds and sub… same issue. Arc always works fine, it’s just the surround and sub that drops. I don’t have any issues with any other WiFi devices, it’s very odd. only started a month or so back. nothing has changed, that I am aware of. diag 1981386366 any ideas.

I have a Play 5 I think it’s Gen1, never really used it and wanted to sell it, is it even worth doing so?

I’ve started experiencing sound dropping out or skipping during tracks when using Amazon music unlimited vis the Sonos app.  this has been working perfectly up until now, strangely if I stream straight from the Amazon music app it appears to work fine, it’s just when I use the Sonos app. I have a Playbar and two ones and it’s all via Wi-Fi. Nothing has been changed or added so I’m a little puzzled as to why. sent a diagnostics check to Sonos and I’ll see what happens next, confirmation number was  520144441

I have a multi-room setup where the kids all have a Sonos1 in each bedroom. It currently works well with Spotify Family as they can all stream their own playlists via Spotify App. I took out a trial of Apple Music (Family account) and I'm considering switching to that service instead.The Apple Music App only supports Airplay to newer speakers like my Play5 although the Sonos app lets them access their individual speakers.However Sonos App appears to only allow 1x Apple account to stream (mine is setup and working). How do I set things up to allow the kids to stream their own music & playlists to their own speaker?

Hi, Has anyone else noticed that the volume level for TV Autoplay is much louder than it used to be?  I’m currently running v13.3 and only noticed this in the last couple of weeks. When the Playbar autotunes to the TV input the volume is about 40% (before it was 20-25%). Couldn’t see anything in the release notes about autoplay volume being tweaked (and the TV input is not customisable, unlike Line-In on other devices), but if it was tweaked it would be useful to get confirmation. CheersGuy

Hi everyone. Everything worked great. I moved and had SONOS Gen 2  etc in storage. At new place - 6 months later - I had ‘reset’ and move to S2 - rebuilding SONOS and services etc. That was no joy. I’m up and running except I can’t add my Apple Music service (in my name). It says must use Android or Apple phone. However, SONOs no longer likes my cell for some features and says upgrade the o/s (there isn’t one) when I try to add the service. I don’t have an Apple phone. When I added S2 to her’s it will only accept Apple Music in her name (she doesn’t have an account).   So, I’m stuck. Either upgrade my phone/switch to Apple OR use a workaround to get the apple service added. (p.s.: not inclined to play music on the cell and pipe it in through aux.)So, doesn’t anyone have a work around to re-add Apple Music as a service? On the windows PC it of course says use your phone. Thank you. DS

HiI have just purchased the new Sonos Beam Gen 2 and Surround sound SL speakers.I have a turntable i want to connect to it. I know the new Sonos Port or AMP will do this but will the old Sonos Connect or Sonos Connect Amp work for this and connect through the Beam Gen 2, or is it not compatible with the new Beam?

Can you listen to Sonos HD Radio over bluetooth or Airplay 2 with a Roam speaker? Do you still get the best quality or is that only when it’s part of your home system? 

I’ve had Sonos for years and the performance over the past week has degraded to make it nearly unusable. I listen almost exclusively to spotify and my music library. Spotify has recently begun returning a number of errors that result in skipped tracks. “not encoded correctly”  or “the connection to spotify was lost.”I’m running a Play:3, Play:1, One, and Roam all through a Boost. I’ve tried switching the Sonos channel from 11 to 1. I even factory reset my wifi setup last night and created a new network name. The issue has persisted and is very frustrating.I ran a diagnostic, #227227461 Any help you can give would be appreciated.
