I have tried to connect all my components, two Sonos Play 1s, a Playbase and a Connect, to a new, closer and stronger network. The sonos Play 1s were a pair. One of them switched, the other did not. The Playbase switched but the other Sonos Play 1 and the Connect amp did not. The top button on the Connect, not just the little light, is flashing red no matter what I do. How may I get all these back to factory specs and start over with the connections?

Nella fattispecie se volessi utilizzare le cuffie bluetooth oppure l’audio proprio della tv, il sistema in automatico commuta l’uscita sull’hdmi della soundbar.Ho sentito la Samsung che dopo un’ora di chat mi ha detto che il problema è dato dalla soundbar che manda continui output alla tv per deviare l’audio sull’hdmi rendendo impossibile l’utilizzo delle altre uscite a meno di disattivare l’anynet (rendendo impossibile l’uso della soundbar con telecomando) o staccando proprio l’hdmi quando servono le cuffie ad esempio (assurdo).

I have Sonos ARC, Amazon Fire Stick with 4K (using Tomorrow War as a test which is Atmos content), and LG 65UP8000 (2021 model with eARC). In LG audio settings, Sound Out = HDMI (ARC) Device, eARC Support is toggled on, Digital Sound Output = Pass Through (other options are Auto and PCM). In FireStick 4k Settings, i have Surround Sound set to Best Available (Plays best audio format based on your connected HDMI device and content being played. Support Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, and PCM). When i play Tomorrow War, the S2 app shows the Audio Format is Stereo PCM, and i don't know why. I called Sonos support, and they basically said the issue is on the TV side. But, I enabled the audio settings to allow me to stream Atmos content. Does anyone know why I am not getting Atmos audio? or why im not even getting Dolby Digital but rather Stereo PCM?

I have an LG UN9000 tv with a Panasonic UB150 4k player and the Beam (Gen 2).  For the life of me, I cannot get anything but Stereo PCM to play from blu ray discs that have a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.  Does anyone know the optimal settings for my blu ray player and/or TV that can help me get DTS Surround?  I tried every possible combination of player settings (changing from Bitstream to PCM) and TV settings (making sure the HDMI input is also set to PCM like the player).  Thanks in advance for anything to help!  

Our local radio stations still appear in our favourites but they will not play. The only thing we have done is switch to Execulink from Rogers. Yesterday I spent two hours on the phone with Sonos support and was not able to find anything wrong with my Sonos. Is it possible for telecoms to restrict access and if so why?

I have a Sony XR A80J that I’m trying to connect with Sonos Arc. The HDMI cable is in place and connection is detected. But this cryptic message comes up, which I don’t understand - “Use your TV remote to turn on Audio System in Home” - what’s expected here? When I tap Test Connection, it says - “Audio System not connected”. Try again doesn’t help. 

I bought the Beam (Gen 2) and Sub for my home theater setup. The theater room is an Apple TV HDMI connected to a projector that projects on to a screen. No physical TV in the room!For the life of me I have been searching high and low for a simple wireless connection from the Apple TV to a speaker across the room that also wirelessly connects to a sub and *****doesnt restrict what content I can watch or listen to. Music, movies, TV, whatever***** Does this truly not exist?? I can’t believe the Beam doesn’t have bluetooth functionality in 2021.My question is: Is there any way whatsoever that I can stream movie audio from the Apple TV to the Beam+Sub wirelessly? Airplay, 3rd party app anything PLEASE?? I really don’t want to return these speakers.

My Playbase has ceased to connect to rest of the system over WiFi. The audio from the TV still comes through fine, and a wired connection works too. A permanent wired connection is not an option. After reviewing other topics, I have submitted diagnostics with confirmation number 1073629480. Can somebody please review and offer guidance?Thank you!

Since the switch to Youtube Music (from Google Play Music), has anyone else noticed audio glitches periodically in the music they listen to via Youtube Music in the the Sonos App?Every so often in a song I get a quick static glitch sound. This does not happen with other sources, like Sonos Radio or Bandcamp. 

Hi!I have a Sonos amp in my outside patio and two Sonos Ones as a stereo pair in my living room. I used to be able to group them all directly on my iPhone with my Apple TV that is connected to a receiver in another room, and they would a play music in the whole apartment. That option stopped working all of a sudden. I did a little googling and found about this “Group non-AirPlay Products option” so I anxiously went to check… but in my Sonos app that switch is greyed out and I can’t toggle it. Can someone please help?

I moved to a new house and I want to use components I have from an old setup to use the 4 in-wall speakers in the family room for surround sound and for music. I need instruction on wiring the Connect Amp or the Connect to the receiver so that I can use the speakers for surround sound and for music. It’s a Denon AVR-X2100W. I have 3 Connect Amps and a Connect from a previous installation and I’m not sure of the best configuration.  

Hello! Did some Googling and reviewed quite some topics on here/Reddit/Unifi Community but couldn’t find anyone with the same symptom. I just recently bought some Ubiquity gear and got the majority of my devices on the new network. One of the things that I wanted to achieve was to wire all my devices where I can. This resulted in my Sonos setup in the Living Room beeing almost completely wired, except for the Sub. The setup is a “classic” Sonos surround setup with a Playbar and two Play:1's (and the Sub).The surround setup has went to a complete factory reset due to the fact that the remote of my new TV was not able to bind properly. This is still buggy but that seems to be another challenge I guess.Today, all of a sudden, a new device came up in my Unifi controller on the same port where my Playbar is connected to (and I don't use the second port on the Playbar for “daisy chaining”). While I was investigating this, 3 other devices (as in; unique MAC adresses) also showed up within the

Remote volume disabled by TV.New TV. Old Playbase.New Panasonic TV. Setup new panasonic remote with Playbase.All ok including old panasonic remotes.Except... playbase sound controls become inoperative on new panasonic remote when TV turned back on.Reregistered new remote many times which only registers when TV off !!When TV turned on then the new remote no longer controls sound on playbase. Old remotes still control playbase and tv no problem. All other functions on all remotes work fine.Is this an optical handshake or bluetooth  clash? All kit firmware fully updated.Seems to be new remote with playbase issue.  

After today’s (22/12/2021) system update Sonos stopped playing Dolby atmos contents from Apple TV 4K. It plays other audio formats automatically like stereo Dolby digital 5.1 multichannel pcm 5.1 or 7.1. It shows audio as silence.  If I change the audio format to Dolby digital on Apple TV 4K in settings then it plays the content. Before this recent update Sonos was able to play the Dolby atmos contents from the Netflix on Apple TV or original Apple TV contents.   

Hi,  I really need help because the SONOS experience is below zero and I am about to do things to it which I will regret. I have been a SONOS user for a long time and always have been happy with them. Lately I have a serious issue that bothers me so much. I have purchased a new TV Samsung Q60Aa 55. Since I have connected the Beam it randomly fails to detect it is installed using the TV speaker instead of the Beam. I try the settings, plug it out, disconnect the cable from the eArc connector, reinstall…. And after a while it seems to detect it until I turn off the TV and can start all over this very annoying time consuming issue. Help please. I have always enjoyed my Beam, which still works fine connecting to Spotify. But am unable to use it as a sound bar for the TV. Help..  BTW. It always has worked well with my previous TV LG branded. 

How long does the returns process typically take? My return got collected by UPS last Wednesday but I’ve not heard anything back about it being received at Sonos yet. I haven’t returned via courier before so not sure on the timeframes.

Hello all after hours of research and phone calls I’m still a bit lost so lets see if this helps clear up my questions.  When i built my house i had gotten 3 zones pre wired for in wall/ceiling speakers zone 1: living room 5.1 surround sound pre wired  (all speakers in wall)zone 2: Kitchen 2 speakers (in ceiling) zone 3: Back patio (2 on wall, 2 in ceiling)   ZONE 1in order to create a true surround sound experience and keep everything simple and clean i want to go with everything from Sonos. For the 5.1 surround sound what I’m confused on is it possible to run 4 in wall speakers, 1 arc (in place of a center channel) and 2 subs off of just 1 Sonos  amp and it all actually work correctly to create a surround sound experience?i did find  this video ( https://youtu.be/cUUyOMRvsiI ) similar set up to what I’m going for only difference is i would use in wall instead of in ceiling, and i want to run 2 Sonos subs. What I’m confused on is why he needed to use 2 Sonos amps when each amp can sup

Can I use the Amazon music app on the Sonos beam without using Alexa? I know you can use the Sonos app but I prefer the Amazon app. I just want to cast to it like I can with the Spodify or Pandora app. Thanks 

Hey PeepzHoping you can help - I am getting intermittent sound (and on other occasions drop out to one of my two Play 1s) whilst playing vinyl on Pro-Ject T1 B1 via port to my Play 1’s Sometimes it works but it comes in and out so often that it’s maddening! I am coming out of the line ports of the Pro-Ject T1 B1 to the ins of the port Am I doing something stupid - it has been known ;)All help gratefully recieved - thank you   

I am using the Sonos controller app on a Fire Tablet HD 10. The tablet is paired to a Sonos Move via bluetooth. The idea was to have all sound from the Fire Tablet output to the Sonos Move and have a beefed up echo show that doubles as a Sonos controller. This works for the most part. If I say, “Alexa, play christmas music,” the fire tablet plays a christmas playlist in spotify and the sound comes out the Sonos Move as expected.  The issue comes with trying to use Alexa to then control music playback with Spotify. If I say, “Alexa, pause spotify,” I can see the spotify app pause, and then automatically play again. As if it hears and performs the command and then something reverses it. I’ve tried saying pause, pause spotify, stop spotify, stop the music, etc. and nothing gets it to pause. I can control volume however. Does anybody have an idea of what the cause may be? FYI, Spotify seems to be the only app that will not pause. I’ve had success pausing/playing iHeartRadio and even Youtub

so has anyone been selected to be a beta tester? if so what did they send you and how long did you get to keep it for? i am an avid audiophile and  electronics guru. been building  and fixing computers and electronics since i was 12 work in IT administration professionally   and run my own side bu9iesnes total electronic solutions. i would be the perfect beta tester as i have beta tested for multiple platform 1 being Microsoft and their newest OS before it comes  out. thank you much and god bless!

My understanding of S2 (as opposed to S1) is the main benefits I would get are:SMBv3 support Hi-Res/HD (which I’m not likely to use) A platform that is mostly the same as S1 but works A chunk of new hardware replacing 16-year old hardware, including warranty Potential of S2 platform development over standing stillAs I would be upgrading from v8.4 I would lose 3 CR100s but regain Spotify streaming. Mandatory UpgradesI have 4 ZP100s, A ZP80 & a Play 5 that would need upgrading to support S2, all of which are eligible for 30% discount. Hello! It seems once you connect a Sonos Five to a home theater setup you are no longer able to initiate auto play through line in. This seems like a weird software issue that could be fixed pretty easily. I understand most people hooking up their home theater probably have another place they setup to listen to records but I would love to be able to use my turntable when I’m not watching TV without having to unpair my fives from the home theater group. Any suggestions (beyond buying a port because I know that’s the easiest solution)? 

I’m traveling with a Sonos Roam and would like to have it available in S2 app connected to WiFi network instead of on Bluetooth via AirPlay.  Is it possible to connect the Roam to S2 app … even if I need to create a new account and setup?  Or is there another way to stream Spotify or Apple Music directly to the speaker instead of via Bluetooth / AirPlay from my phone?
