Just recently purchased the arc surround bundle. In alexa i have set spotify as my default but it will still play amazon music unless i say play from spotify. Is there any way tow fix this or is this just how it works.

Try deleting and re adding the Spotify skill within your Alexa app, it may require an update too, which you don’t get notified about.
