Hi everyone -I am looking to refine our home theater setup with a full Sonos surround sound system, and I could use a bit of advice.  I’ve seen pieces of this in other threads, but hoping someone can validate my plan here before I start ordering equipment.Currently I have a BENQ TK800 projector with a Chromecast with Google TV, wired to the line-in on a Sonos Connect feeding to our vintage Macintosh stereo receiver.  I want to go full surround and as wireless as possible. I have 3 Sonos amps that are dedicated to 3 separate rooms.  As of now, my speakers are hardwired to the amps.  I can’t figure out how to play different musical tracks via Spotify Premium in separate rooms.  I can play a track in one room or a group of rooms, but not two different tracks in two different rooms.  This should be easy.

Hallo, I have a beam (2.0) en two play:1's configured with my LG tv as a home Home Theatre dolby configuration. Works perfectly for the place in the livingroom where i watch TV: the bench.Otherwise, when playing music from Spotify, i'm normaly not sitting on the bench in front of the beam, so i would like to only use both the play:1's for playing music and have the beam silenced. The beam is not in the middle of the room and destroy’s the stereo sound from both the play:1's. Sound quality for music was way way better before adding the beam.Can the Beam be silenced for music? A seperate configuration for Home Theatre and a second one for listening Music sounds logical right?

When I’m connecting to the Sonos Move using Airplay through the Apple Music app (using an Iphone 13 Pro), the sound is very choppy and sometimes stops playing altogether. When I try streaming YouTube to the Move through the same iPhone, the same exact thing happens. I’ve tried factory re-setting the speaker twice and it still does the same thing! I’ve also reset my router multiple time. Any suggestions would greatly help!

Hi, Not so long ago I was able to ask different echo devices to play Spotify on different Sonos speakers across different rooms, and music would start playing without cutting in other rooms. Now, when I ask Alexa to play Spotify it will stop playing Spotify on other speaker (previously stated via Alexa) and start it on speaker where I asked.  In sonos app it says - started from Spotify. Is this normal behaviour and can it be changed somehow?  Can't imagine my family asking Alexa to play Spotify and it will stop playing in other rooms? Thanks! 

How can i listen to my own recordings saved on Google drive in my sonos?

Can the ARC upmix a Dolby 5.1 sound to use up firing speakers to create a pseudo Atmos sound?  I know it will not be as defined as true Atmos but I would want the ARC to use all the available speakers for the fullest sound possible.   

Just started tonight, turn the tv or music up and 2 seconds later it’s back down? No Alexa connected. rebooted system and still a problem. Using a sonos arc, ceiling sonos speakers and a sub any ideas?

I had to reset and rebuild my Sonos system today. When I try to add my existing Apple Music account to Sonos via the app on Android, after clicking “I’m Already a Member”, I get a white screen. Nothing else appears. The same thing happens if I select “Start Trial.”Any ideas?

I have a Sonos arc paired with the gen 3 sub connected to my Sony xbr900e connected via arc(not earc) . Everything was working fine until a few days ago and now my audio is constantly cutting in and out. I have swapped hdmi cables, power cycled both tv and soundbar, factory reset my tv, and nothing has fixed it.

Hi all , hope you can help , I'm looking at buying a beam gen 2 bar , I only have sky HD , as the Sonos has 3 channels theoretically will I notice a difference in sound in the Sonos from my 2 channel Yas 306 Yamaha bar , Sonos will be connected via HDMI , Yamaha connected via optical , thanks 

My Move has recently become very unreliable. When I’m using it on the balcony it drops out pretty regularly, however this never seems to happen with my Roam. This evening I was using it in the kitchen, grouped with a play 1 and it just … stopped playing music. According to the app it was still playing and still grouped, but I had no sound. I tried to ungroup it (planning to then re add it) but the app did not respond. I tried holding the play button to group it but it just ‘dinged’ and then flashed orange!  My Sonos app says everything is up to date. I have a linksys velop mesh system that is regularly updated / restarted etc and currently all up to date too, and sonosnet as one speaker is wired in. All speakers except the move and roam are WM0, the portables are WM1. The MAC address for all Sonos items are reserved too. I am wondering if the balcony issue is because the Move is usually connected to a further away velop node (close to where it lives indoors) which might explain the dif

What are the requirements of a HDMI cable that is used to connect Sonos Arc (HDMI Port - i suggest eARC HDMI 2.1) with a Beamer (S/PDIF Port) through the Sonos optical Adapter?

I picked up an IKEA symfonisk bookshelf speaker today and set it up. No issues with WiFi connectivity, apps on Android, iOS and Windows all working. Was able to add TuneIn radio and CBC Radio servies. The only snag is I don’t seem to be able to add some of the other music services I use, including Spotify, Amazon Music or SiriusXM. They don’t even appear in the list! Here is a screenshot of where I would expect Spotify to appear on the Windows app. Same thing on the other apps. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve tried cycling the power on the unit multiple times.   

Hi everyone, does someone knows if there´s a Sonance small aperture speaker? Like de VP40 but for exterior, I’ve look’ed the VP6XT but not the VP4XT. Does someone knows if those exists?

I have a Sonos playbar from 2020, just looking at possible upgrades and it’s saying I’ve upgraded it already. I haven’t purchased any Sono products recently and still using the playbar.Any ideas on this?

Hi - I have just ordered a new TV Philips 48OLED806.With my old Panasonic TV I have an old Yamaha soundbar which has multiple inputs - I have for example a Sky Q system and also Apple TV and bluray player.  It’s currently wired so that each of these devices goes directly to the sound bar and I have to select a sound source for whatever I am watching.I am looking at BEAM2 - it appears to have only one input port?Does this mean that the sound will pass through the TV and then from the TV into the soundbar so I only need that one conneciton?If so, does this work and what do I need to watch out for there - I got the impression I have to look for something called ARC?Apologies for the silly questions but I really haven’t looked into this at all since the last time I bought a new TV about 8 years ago!

Hi,I am planning to renovate my apartment.I would like to have in ceiling speaker in my bathroom.I see they are sold as pair, I think only one would be enough in this room.my question is:Can I put on speaker in my bathroom and one other in the kitchen for example.and connect them to the same connect amp but use it as different channel? also what kind of wires do you recomand?and my ceiling will be made from Ba13, would that do the job? Won’t there be vibrations? Should I add like mdf plate on the back of ba13 for better support?Thanks Mael  

Hi there,I’ve read many of the posts on using Port for connecting turntables and older systems, but I’m still not 100% on the right solution.I’m basically looking to add a couple Sonos Ones and a Beam to my TV/Turntable/Apple TV/Nintendo to Receiver set up. I want the option to have everything that’s currently connected to my receiver play through my wired speakers/Subwoofer as well as the new Ones and Beam.  - Do I need to run the turntable into the Port, wouldn’t it make sense to keep the turntable connected to my receiver and somehow line-out everything in the receiver to the Port? -  I’d still switch the receivers source input depending on what device I want to use (turntable, apple tv, nintendo) correct? - And just to mention, I’m currently using an older Sony Str-dh540 (image below) but planning to upgrade that eventually. Is there anything I should be considering when searching for a new receiver for a situation like this? I thought Sonos AMP might be an option, but my TV only h

For those that may have the LG 2020 CXPUA series TVs and are using them with an Arc sound bar and Sonos Amp plus in-wall speakers, do you get true 5.1 surround modes out of the LG’s HDMI eARC?  I realize that this question is probably best posed to LG tech support but the dummies kept reading “2.2 Speaker System” back to me off the website and that wasn’t my question. Will the HDMI eARC send true 5.1 surround modes to the Sonos Arc sound bar and then wirelessly to in-wall speakers through the Sonos Amp?  Or will it be some simulated surround sound?

Hi there!   I see there are a lot of related topics in the forums, but most are from a few years ago so I’m hoping that there’s an update or two that I can take advantage of.  Here’s the set-up I have in my house:3 Sonos Ones + 1 Sonos Roam in 4 different rooms upstairs 2 Sonos Amps controlling 2 different rooms downstairs (1 amp controls 2 in-wall speakers, and the 2nd amp controls 4 in-wall speakers + 1 sonos sub) Each of these 2 different rooms has one Amazon Echo Dot device used to control these speakers 1 Sonos Connect controlling a 3rd room downstairs (not set-up yet, but will be soon) One amazon echo device in this 3rd room as well I have a Spotify family account with 4 accounts - 1 each for me, my husband, and my 2 kids.  I’d like to be able to:Play a single stream of spotify music throughout the house and/or throughout multiple rooms (this can theoretically be done by grouping rooms together via the sonos amp and/or by grouping rooms together via the alexa app) - this works
