On my PC i have a folder for all my music. iTunes uses that basic directory, some tracks are in their own sub directory, and some are listed as normal files with the main Music directory.Whatever the previous version of the Sonos S1 software (SW), I updated to the latest v 11.2.12.Playing music using my iphone Sonos app and PC S1 app works fine.However, upon downloaded the latest the PC S1 SW, the cover art is messed up.Almost all the tracks, which had their own cover art, have been replaced by a SINGLE cover art image.I have no idea why.The songs and cover art all in the same Music folder (I don’t manage the cover art, whatever comes with iTunes is what I have). Nothing has changed for years actually.The music folder and my PC w/the S1 SW are on the same computer. So I have no idea what the hell happened. Any suggestions- it’s annoying as hell. 

HelloI was checking SONOS S2 app options on how to add Sub to One SL pair already setup in my room. I found following link  https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4805?language=en_USI’m not getting option as mentioned in step#4 of above link.Any idea what may be the reason? I’m yet to purchase SONOS Sub, but doing research on adding Sub to pair of One SL .--------------------------------------------Add a SubOpen the Sonos app for iOS or Android. From the  Settings tab, tap System. Under Products, tap the room you would like to add your Sub to. Tap Add Sub. I have files and folders with Korean in the names. When I add the music library and re-index, it only finds songs with English names only. Is there any way that Sonos music library indexes foreign language support (e.g. UTF-8) Or, I have Synology NAS with built in media server. I read that DLNA is not officially supported by Sonos but if there is anyone who uses DLNA to play music from NAS library?

The previous responses were over a year ago.  Any chance this feature has been added

My SONOS ARC won’t switch back to TV after playing music via Spotify. Given the amount of other people experiencing this problem it looks like a bug in one of your recent software release. Could you test the relevant Use Cases in your test lab and let me know the fix please. The ARC is currently not useable for primary task and I don’t won’t to have to return it to John Lewis as unusable, for what is probably a small software fix. Thank you.

I have a Sonos Playbar with 2 Sonos Ones for surround sound. I recently bought a new “Siri Remote” made by Apple, which includes a mute button. I have successfully paired the new Apple TV “Siri Remote” to control the volume on my Sonos (up/down), but the Sonos fails to recognize the mute command. The previous thread on this subject was inconclusive and unhelpful, and Sonos bizarrely closed the thread without any answer or resolution… How can I make my Sonos Playbar recognize the mute command from my Apple TV remote?

I love Sonos products. The sound quality is great. However, I’m having some major problems with the Alexa compatibility. What I want to do is the absolute most basic of tasks for an audio speaker. I want to control the VOLUME, up or down, of all my Sonos One speakers jointly using the integrated Alexa voice assistant. I do not want to make 5 separate volume commands to change the speakers’ volume one by one.Now, I realize this was not possible 2 years ago, according to all the forum posts I’ve seen, but since almost 730 days have gone by since this issue was originally brought to your attention, Sonos, I’m checking in today to see if anyone has found a solution or if Sonos has written the 2 or 3 lines of measly code it would take to allow this simple and basic functionality.Is anyone there and willing to provide support for a customer who has spent in excess of $1,500 to bring your branded products to our entire home?Thank you, Ryan

Hi.  I am looking to fix something going on with my setup.I have a PC attached to a TV attached to the Sonos.When I click on Living Room and group everything else (Some One’s and a 5 in individual groups)They will all group together and everything works great.The problem is when I, say, pause a video or stop playing audio on the Sonos.  I’m not sure how long but after a while the grouping will stop.   When this happens what it looks like in the Sonos app is instead of everything in one group with dark shading on it what you see is Living Room with no dark shading over it and then everything else grouped with the dark shading.  I have to click on Living Room and group again to get it back to working.How can I fix this? Thanks! 

I have tried many ways but it won't work :( it is very annoying as I have 2 Sonos One and 1 beam. I have to change the sound manually with Sonos App.Thank you for your help guys !

Having trouble uploading Apple Music to sonos

I have a Sonos one an Apple Music connection. When I ask Alexa to play a song or to play an artist she says “I cant find songs by artist or the name of the song” on Apple Music. I also have an echo input and with exactly the same question it can play the item requested.  The Sonos One does seem to be able to find and play my Apple Music playlists.  I spent about an hour chat session with a very helpful Sonos Representative who had me disable Apple Music and reenable it and Sonos as well but no success. Has anyone struck a similar problem and managed to resolve it. if I ask the echo to play a song on my Sonos one that works

I feel the need for separate volume controls for the sub for music and for tv. I have a nice level for tv but when I play music the bass drops away. Why is this ? 

I have a sound bar, 2 no. Sonos Play Ones and a Sub.  All was working well up until very recently.  As far as I know, I haven’t done or changed anything to make this problem happen. When playing my music through the Sonos App, the music is dropping out and coming through the speakers intermittently.Could this be something to do with my Wi-Fi?I have just had Sky Q put in but I am sure the problems were happening before this was done.Anyone have any ideas how I rectify this please?  Thank you.HB

I am having difficulty in setting up thee Sonos Roam.It will not connect to my network

When a playlist is playing, if you select a new song and select play next, that song will not be played. It is skipped and continues with the playlist. 

I started having problems a couple days ago - I think there was an update on the sonos app.  I can not play music on sonos via Spotify app but I can play from the Sonos app. diag no:1434634836 I restarted router, play1I reinstalled spotify and sonos appsI talked to spotify support and they were a great help but we could not fins a problem on their side   I only have one speaker Play1   I also installed Spotify and sonos apps to my second phone and tried. result is same.  what can I do to go back to good old days I play my music via spotify app?:)

I have a simple SONOS network of 2 Play1’s , i’m using S2 and I can’t get my  iphone 12 to connect to the SONOS network.When my phone is the only controlling device on the network it won’t connect. If then i connect another controlling device (e,g. my wife’s iphone12 mini or my MacbookAir) which does work, my iphone 12 suddenly then connects to SONOS network. Then if my i take my wifes’ iPhone12 and MabookAir off the network and try again, my ipHone 12 doesn’t work gain!!Something is blocking my Iphone12 when there is no other controller on the siteI’m using a stand BT smart hub router. The iphones and Macbook air are connected to the 5GHZ network, the SONOS is connected to the same network via 2,5GHZ rebooting any part of the network or phone makes no differenceany ideas?

Hello, During the lasts weeks we have a lot of dropout problems when playing Amazon Music HD content. Having this HD service from its beginning, and without doing any change in our network configuration (3 velop nodes, without isp main network, just an ONT connected to the main velop node), it seems really strange. We have A LOT of sonos devices, but just one of them (playbar) connected by ethernet wire. These dropouts happened only when playing amazon hd content in other device than the playbar, so I supposed it’s a issue with my wireless network. When grouping other rooms with the playbar, that one reproduce the audio perfectly but other rooms have some (less) dropouts. Also checked the same behavior applies with FLAC content on my NAS.So, could be possible to configure our sonos system to use that wired playbar as “master” when using amazon music HD? I think that wired configuration with at least a wired device was available a long time ago in the sonos app.I tried to contact sonos

Has the low volume for alexa/google voice been fixed in beam gen 2  beam gen 1 has been no good for 12 months +

Hi, I am in the market to buy 2 sounbars for 2 separate living zones in my house. I was thinking of 2 Sonos Arcs. Can someone please advise if it is possible to run 2 on the same network and how this can be achieved? Regards, Dennis

Hi all. Im new here and have a a question.I've got an extension being built and while the ceilings are down I have been considering a Sonos set up for this space.  I am hoping to achieve a tv surround sound set up tied in with the option to listen and stream music using all speakers. I think I have narrowed this down to the following Sonos set up but I’m not sure if this would actually work in reality… An Arc, Sonos sub, x1 Sonos Amp and x2 rear Sonos in-ceiling speakers.Is this possible? If yes, what do I need to do or get in addition to make it work?Im looking for a simple answer as I’m a bit simple🤪. Thanks guys!

Hi,Started running into this issue about 3 months after purchasing the Sonos Arc. It randomly disconnects and I need to turn off and on the TV for it to reconnect. This is very frustrating. Please help or I would like to return the items purchased. 

I am about to move from Australia with a number of SONOS speakers and want to know where I can purchase EU power plugs rather than having to get a whole bunch of adaptors for my speakers.

I have a Sonos Roam and all of the sudden it started smoking. I immediately unplugged it from the wall and noticed the USB C cable was starting to melt into it. It no longer powers on. has anyone else experienced this?This speaker is usually kept in our bathroom and perhaps the condensation built up? This is just crazy to me.
