When the Sonos has been playing first from the Sonos app (on a Mac), we will stop/pause that and go to cast from Spotify to the Sonos. Often the Sonos stays stuck with the paused stream. Hitting the button on top of the Sonos 5 will start that Sonos stream where it was stopped, even with the Sonos app turned off on the Mac. How do we get that to totally stop, so that the Sonos will be available for Spotify?

They always say that there are no silly questions, well here is my challenge.Just been reading up on the Sonos radio station, I already have an Apple Music subscription for me and my partner which we currently listen to on our current Sonos system, is there any advantages to paying for this service?  Do any of you guys have multiple streaming services?Cheers in Advance  Andy 

I turned off bluetooth on my phone, which was the first device I connected Move to. I then connected via bluetooth to the Peloton bike. The connection worked immediately but within seconds Move disconnects every time. 

Anyone have any solutions to Sonos one not connecting to Spotify but will stream radio services ok.My beam, play 3’s and 1 have no problem connecting to Spotify through the Spotify app or Sonos.I’ve rebooted router, factory reset Sonos one checked updates on everything, deleted and reinstalled all apps, signed in and out of Sonos, Spotify and Alexa nothing works

Hi all,Been a few years since I posted so sorry about what could be a silly question.  I have just purchased the Move and one (part of a package).  Now, as I believe the play 3 has been replaced by the Move, am I assume that the play3 will still work once the Move has been activated?Another question, if the Play3 will still work (which. hopefully I assume it will), will I be able to move this into the lounge and activated with the beam? Or could I locate the Move into the lounge and use it for mulipurpose - Beam & Move and  Move by itself 

Hello All,  First let me apologize if this scenario has been posted before but i cannot seem to find it.  I have a Sony OLED A90J set up with a sonos arc+ sub and surrounds, using the tv apps and directv box and it works great. However in the same room i have a benq projector, on an older bose system, it is also running a an amazon firebox and another mini set top box from direct tv.  What i want to do is get rid of the bose system and someone toggle from tv to projector with both of them taking advantage of the arc + surround. is this possible?

Hi,I have a Beam, 2 x One and Sub plus a Roam grouped. If I am watching Sky Q but then decide to play a track on Spotify via my iPhone connected to the grouped devices and then stop the track to return to Sky Q programme I lose the sound? The only way I can get audio to return to Sky Q is by powering TV off. Is there a more graceful way of doing this? I expected it to happen automatically with having to power TV on and off. Thanks in advance. 

We wish to connect a CD player to our Sonos 5, but due to its location, a direct connection is impractical. Is it possible to connect a CD player to a Bluetooth transmitter, then connect a Bluetooth receiver with RCA outputs to the Sonos 5? I know this sounds jerry-rigged, but it’s the only workaround that would fit within our room constraints.

Good evening everyone, welcome back and greetings from Rome  I have been a happy owner of the ARC soundbar and the ONE speakers for a few weeks (waiting for the Sub ...) As you know better than me, we have the ability to listen to Dolby Atmos with our ARC.Unfortunately, the various Playstations 4 and 5 do not have the possibility to play this format ...What do you recommend for watching bluray and 4k movies and taking advantage of ARC's dolby atmos?Thanks to everyone as always! 

Sonos has stopped connecting to Sirius this morning.  Been working fine until this morning.  Alarms failed to start. Unable to connect manually.  Message:“Unable tp play the radio station”Sonos system and app updated to 13.4.1Diagnostic # 1546886573

So I’ve just bought a new LG OLEDC155 TV along with a Sonos Beam gen 2. I get sound from watching live tv but when I play anything at all from my Apple TV 4K there’s absolutely no sound at all. Any help appreciated. 

Prior to upgrading windows 10 to 11 Sonos connected to music library on pc, after upgrade would not connect, removed music library connection, ensured SMB sharing modules enable, shared music library folders with “sonos wifi” all without any error, when I tried to connect to music library via desktop app I receive an error “error adding music (big red X) sonos was unable to add the music folder, reason: the computer (pc name) is not responding”. I checked to make sure sonos.exe was allowed in the firewall rules.I started a chat with support and once I explained the problem they pulled the connection, anyone have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

Hi everyone , my TV setting for hdmi input has pcm or bitstream ,my sky+ hd is connected to my TV via HDMI , sky box is set to Dolby digital .Beam 2 plus surrounds are on hdmi arc , shall I set my TV to pcm or bitstream ? Thanks  

I replaced my 1st Roam as it kept dropping off the network and it wouldn’t respond to the App. The new one keeps dropping off the network as well. I have 6 other Sonos speakers around the house that are ‘always on’ and ready to go but I’m being told to reboot the Roam (every day). Very frustrating.  When I turn it off it says its ‘off line’ but when on it doesn’t appear on the App. Is this a design fault ? 

Does the Playbar wall mount work with the Arc?

I use S1 with a Connect on the same network where I have multiple other devices running S2. It’s always worked fine. Today the S1 app was not connecting and seemed to not even know my ID. I logged out and logged back in and then it told me to use S2. Of course the S2 does not work with the Connect so I factory reset the Connect, reinstalled the S1 app and tried to connect the Connect. No dice. Tried everything and finally had to dig it out of its location and plug it hard into the router. Got it set up but the S1 app was acting weird and would log into my account but then lose connection with the Connect. Then it would say “we found Connect” and I’d click on it but have to log into my account all over again. THEN all of my services were gone so I added them back and it said “oh we found them!” one by one. Sheesh I did all of this but it would not play. Seemed to be lost trying to find the Connect and my account. I was 90 minutes in at this point. THEN…… It told me I needed to start usi

I had my Sonos music library setup on a USB stick in my WiFi router. All has been working fine, including playing songs from that USB source and running regular updates of the music library (re-indexing). Now I'm getting this error when trying to update the music library:  Music files not available[usb location on router] is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.Even after this mesage was displayed, Sonos could play songs from the USB drive (i.e. from the existing music library) absolutely fine, so the potential issues mentioned in the message don’t apply; it was just the music library update that stopped working. To try to fix things, I deleted the music library reference from Sonos and tried to add it again. How does the sonos turn of? I can't turn  it off

Hi,I’m trying to setup my Play5 (2ndG) after a while not using it - it worked fine the last time I used it but I have reset my wifi password etc since so I decided to start from scratch. Factory reset the Play 5 Latest version of IOS on my iPad Reset the Sonos App (v2)My attempt goes as followsThe Play 5 is flashing green Open the Sonos App, accept License conditions etc. Login the Sonos The app immediately finds the Play 5, I click ‘Add’ “Getting Play 5 ready”... Goto Accessories setup to connect “Preparing” “Gathering info about your network” Shows my the network and the accessory name “Sonos Play 5” so I hit next “Setting up accessory to join NETWORK”… “Waiting for Sonos Play 5 Black”… (Still flashing green) “An unexpected error occurred try again”Trying again results in exactly the same and this all happens in exactly the same way when using my iPhone instead of the iPad.Any ideas?Cheers

I have a Beam and a one that are 2 years old not working well with Sonos app.  Should I be using S1 or S2 app? Should I have the original Sonos app & S2 loaded or just S2? My problem is the sound fades in and out and Alexa drops off. I use it with a Sony android smart TV.

Hello! I have three Sonos One speakers which used to work just fine with Alexa, until they didn’t. After some online research I tried to add the Sonos skill but I keep on getting this error message about a geographical restriction which doesn’t make any sense because I’m in the United States where there is no restriction. I’ve already checked my Amazon and Sonos profile and the address on both is correct. 

After 3 years, here I am once again with no Sub. Tryin’ to upgrde to S2 controller, I added my devices Playbar and Sub (new way to do it, not so intuitive, but that’s it). After that I connected the sub, it took about 10/15 minutes. Palybar+Sub are in the same room but, once again, Sub doesn’t work (no sound) neither in WiFi nor in Eth. No Boost at the time (do I really need one, with S1 all was perfect).1 hour to make work everything, but...no way to do it. For about 10/15 seconds Sub has started, but in the App I saw the “?”. When in the App I finally saw the Sub...no sound from it. Modem AVM 7590 and repeater 1750, will try again and, eventually I must use the Boost.
